"Over time, Blackboard tools have become quite sophisticated at providing some of the more nuanced features that teachers enjoy when using the LMS. Grading in discussions and wiki pages for example, is streamlined and allows the instructor to accurately see who said what or who contributed to what degree on a shared document/space. The more you take time to learn about the features and settings available, the more uses you'll find for the wide variety of tools and mashups. "

"Articulate Storyline's best attribute is its versatility. It is suitable for those just starting to develop e-learning and for those who want to create complex and sophisticated interactions. It can be enhanced with Javascript and other third party applications like animations created in Edge Animate to take it to another level. I like the familiar interface too. For anyone transitioning from elearning design to elearning development, it is easy to find your way around the WYSIWYG interfa..."

"It's very easy to use - incredibly user friendly but also very dynamic. I love that is adds so much to a tool that I already use regularly - PowerPoint. One of the best things is that I can take a current presentation and quickly recreate it into eLearning. I think it will add a lot to my corporate clients who want to take their stand up training to the next level."

"I think the reason Articulate is so easy to use for a lot of learners is because the similarities it has with PowerPoint. There are a lot of things you can do design wise with Articulate that can make every course you produce completely different. I've been using this program for almost two years now and still don't think I've mastered it yet. I am excited to see and use all the new tools in Articulate 2.0!"

"Storyline is endlessly flexible. It has several tools for building interactivity and you can combine them to create sophisticated interactions. My favourite tools are timeline (allowing you to time the appearance and disappearance of audio and visual elements), triggers (which basically act like if-then statements, like "if the user clicks this item, then display that item"), and states (allowing you to change the appearance of an item based on various conditions). There are also tools for cr..."
