We've used Mixpanel a number of times to implement site analytics. It's incredibly easy to setup and get running. A great way to breakdown your analytics data from your site. Great dashboards, great reporting, and it's relatively cost efficient.

It doesn't play so well with other systems, and is not the most reliable when it comes to reporting accuracy. The info you can gather from google analytics is relatively simplistic and still requires a lot of manual processes to get the big picture.
