If you are worried about someone else hosting your cloud storage then you are in luck. Novell Filr is a great tool to use for cloud storage. This software is well encrypted and great to use. Very similar to Dropbox and Microsoft Onedrive.

Sharing large files quickly over a group of people and allowing various people simultaneously read access to the files. Even the dropbox app is lite and quick to use.

The ease of use is a restriction. Kind of difficult to learn.

Sync can sometimes throttle network bandwidth. Have to mirror the entire folder on your hard drive. Would be better if you could selectively sync files.
