Is Helpdesk Optional for Direct Deals?

As a rule, help desk is not optional for direct deals. We will consider it on a case-by-case basis but honestly the IT department will have to be very sophisticated to convince me that they can support a system like this. Basic help desk is only $10/month and it is that low intentionally so it should not be a deal breaker.
