What is the learning curve of the software, and what is the transition like?
When learning something new, it’s always relative to experience, learning styles and approach. This having been said, we have been regularly told that the learning curve of Vectorworks Architect is fairly easy. The interface is similar to other design and layout applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc., so anyone familiar with those programs will catch on to Vectorworks quickly. Moreover, when transitioning from another CAD program, Vectorworks Architect is intuitive and works the way that you think. In the end, designers who consistently work with the software will have more success.
