Moving Daminion Catalog to a new hard drive

I need to move my Daminion Catalog to a new hard drive to free up space on the current hard drive. What is the best practice when moving the Catalog?

There are 2 ways of doing this:

1. You can create symbolic links to individual files or folders. These will appear as if they’re stored in the folder with the symbolic link, even though the symbolic link only points to their real location www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/. So you can move your folders from drive #1 to drive #2, and leave just a small symbolic links on drive #1. This is especially useful when your system drive is SSD with low capacity.

2. Back up your Daminion Server catalog(s) - Uninstall your PostgreSQL - Install POstgreSQL to another drive - Re-install your Daminion Server - Restore your Daminion Server catalog(s)
