How are user credentials transmitted across the network?
ChangeGear minimizes the cases that credentials are passed over a network by leveraging Windows Integrated
Authentication and by supporting Kerberos through single sign-on. In cases where credentials are entered into
ChangeGear, they are salted and then hashed using SHA512. When passed over the network, they are encrypted with
RSA using a machine generated random session key (making use of the Microsoft provided RSACryptoServiceProvider).
