Because Smartling is a cloud-based translation software platform, our workflow solution is centralized and provides role-based access to all participants in the process. Smartling customers have access to our network of professional translators, or they can select the translation services provider(s) of their choice, be it one or several translation agencies, freelance translators, or internal staff.
Smartling workflows are fully and easily customizable. They can have any number of steps, in any order required, and can combine human and automated steps. At any time, users can add or remove workflows and workflow steps, and configure the properties of each step on a project by project and content basis.
