"Corporate Rewards and Recognition"

What do you like best?

The system overall is pretty easy to use and the catalog of items to redeem points for is fairly robust. There's a wide range of gifts, gift cards, experiences, and a lot more. There's something for everyone. Also, they consistently update the catalog to include new selections, and if you can't find something you want, they have a concierge service that will help customize a prize or experience for you.

What do you dislike?

The exchange rate for dollar value to points is a bit hefty. In our situation, not sure if it varies by company or if Achievers has a set rate, but each dollar is charged at $1.30. Aside from that, there really aren't other negatives. There are areas of the platform that we don't use, but for a rewards and recognition platform it is a great system.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The platform is great for employee morale. It gives people a platform outside of an intranet to express appreciation. You can also use it for competitions and award points within the platform as opposed to trying to pick a prize that everyone would benefit from - you give points, and you let the winner choose how to redeem those points.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our company uses Achievers as a rewards and recognition program where you can either send a shout out to someone for great work, or award points for accomplishments. It's a great way to publicly express appreciation and boost morale across the organization.

"Neat way to boost morale"

What do you like best?

I enjoy getting to recognize my friends for their hard work. and add a little bit of flair along with my recognition. Its fun to add pictures and be cheeky with our attaboys.

What do you dislike?

Boosting always costs points. Sometimes I want to effectively 'applaud' or agree with the recognition but I would have to either Like or Boost it. A Like is not meaningful enough. Boosting also applies to all members of the recognition which I sometimes cannot afford.

There are too many leaderboards! I just want to know, selfishly, am I being recognized but less so who is doing the recognizing.

I wish my unawarded point balance would roll over. Some months I want to recognize more than two people but my allocation can only be split in two.

It would be great if you could request ad hoc points budgets in special cases where you've already awarded your allocated points for the month but desire to recognize someone for something exceptional.

It would also be really neat if you could create cards or recognition for non-work related life events - like a coworker who has a baby or buys a home or got a promotion. We seem to only have cards for Work Anniversaries..

Worth the look!

Morale is improved. It is a great way to facilitate a true recognition but is also really fun to see the creative things people give attaboys for. I enjoy getting to tell my coworkers when they've done a kick ass job in a creative way. I also appreciate that managers get to see what their employees find helpful and relevant and therefore, worth applauding.

"Fun recognition platform, enables you to commend colleagues"

What do you like best?

Really like the idea of this platform, it allows you to recognize your colleagues for the work they do. The concept of points is great because the receiving person can then redeem their points for tangible items such as gift cards, merchandise, movie tickets, etc. I feel using this platform helps to motivate employees.

What do you dislike?

I wish their mobile app and website were updated a bit. I feel that its getting a bit old for 2018. Other than that no real issues with the platform.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use it as an employee engagement program platform. I really love the fact that I can redeem my points for something.

"Great platform concept, employees do not value taxes on prizes"

What do you like best?

Peer to peer recognition. This is what our employees used the most as they were able to recognize their peers.

What do you dislike?

It was hard to get our leaders to adapt to this. Would have liked to be able to award cash vs. prizes through this system. Employees did not find meaning in prizes as they took away from their take home pay.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Adding new members to the system can be cumbersome. We had to do this all by hand when it came to new hires and employees transferring to other leaders. Would love to see achievers offer a recognition only option at a lower cost vs. having to use rewards catalog. Also be aware that if an employee leaves your organization and does not use their points, Achievers receives those unused points. They do not refund this to you and did not point this out to us when we were going through contract negotiations. They also will tack on administration fees to prizes (ex: A $25 gift card will cost an employee $30 worth of points).

"A Simple Mode of Appreciation"

What do you like best?

You will get to recognize an individual or a team for giving an exemplary effort in the performance of his/her/their job with points that they can accumulate and spend on things they want later on.

What do you dislike?

Due to currency differences, the minimum number of points that we give our US colleagues are relatively high. Resulting to a fewer number of people that we can recognize (point-based) each month.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

In times that my manager is not fully engaged with what I am doing, she will still have a view on how well I perform because of the recognition given by the business partners. That can also be a tool to help her evaluate my periodic performance.

"Not very useful"

What do you like best?

I like their selection of rewards: very diverse and very easy to use

What do you dislike?

Achievers does not have a good system to keep employees engaged. Once you select the rewards, you just cash out and do not come back to the site until your account is filled up by your employer again.

Not very useful as there is a lack of engagement

Achievers helps giving recognition to employees, from other employees.. You don't always need to give cash rewards, and can also give "thank you cards", which is nice.

"Moral Booster"

What do you like best?

I like that am able to recognize not only my peers but even people from our leadership team.

What do you dislike?

The one thing i really dislike is having to sign in every time.

"Big Fan!"

What do you like best?

The achievers program allows you to connect with your peers and show support for their contributions

What do you dislike?

There is a limitation on how many points you can give per month along with a minimum for how many you can give out.

What do you like best?

Easy to use and navigate through. Many features and ability to handle a multitude of users.

The search function, would like to be able to sort things easier

"Achievers "

What do you like best?

Being able to recgnoize employees not only while in the office but when I’m mobile is huge. I could see my employees doing a great job and with a drop of a dime I can send hem recognition.

What do you dislike?

Nothing yet. This has been a great service so far.

"Finally a tool that's easy and fun to use for peer to peer recognition "

What do you like best?

We've been using Achievers for a couple of years now and I really like that's its so very easy to use and the rewards are so easy to redeem.

What do you dislike?

Limited points to be given to peers. I just happen to work in a very cool organization with many cool work mates that deserve recognition.

"Great platform for a culture of recognition"

What do you like best?

If everyday recognition is the question, then achievers is the tech enabling answer. Good accounting and controls, gasification as well as healthy competitiveness can be enabled using this tool. Plus you can track engagement of your employee base while you're working on your corporate objectives.

What do you dislike?

Bit clunky on the initial uptake (but they improve with inputs from the clients

Definitely worth consideration if you're looking to up the level of engagement but it is a tool at the end of the day and needs good strategy to be successful

"Convenient recognition program with excellent rewards"

What do you like best?

I love the simplicity with which you cab leave positive feedback for your colleagues, as well as the wide variety of rewards available.

The search feature for rewards can be unintuitive.

"Excellent Incentive Program for Work"

What do you like best?

Great software that is easy to use on a large scale. I've used it at my place of employment and have no difficulty using my points for rewards, and it creates an incentive to "go the extra mile" at the workplace.

What do you dislike?

There is a limited selection of products to redeem, and most people use it to redeem gift cards.

Good product for those that are interested in creating an employment incentive program.

It solves the problem of unmotivated employees or those that just want to do what's expected of them. It creates the extra incentive to work harder to achieve more than expectations, and provides another form of compensation for those that do.

"Good for morale and a fun reward system."

What do you like best?

It's nice to be able to tangibly reward your coworkers for going above and beyond.

"Awesome way to reward associates"

What do you like best?

I love that you are able to publicly recognize associates for their hard work and award them points for it.

"Crashes a lot, but the idea is good"

What do you like best?

It worked pretty well to recognize accomplishments and anniversary's.

What do you dislike?

It didn't stay logged in and crashed a lot. Wasn't able to update profile picture and sometimes the keyboard wouldn't work.

I've heard apple users have a better experience, but it doesn't seem to work well for android users.

What do you like best?

The various items in the catalog. There are literally thousands of possibilities to choose from. I love that you can donate your points to charity or even book your next vacation.

The support could be faster and available on weekends.

"Fun incentives for collaboration and achievement"

What do you like best?

There is a good variety of gift cards you can redeem for points. For example, they have gift cards to popular retail stores, restaurants, and spas.

What do you dislike?

You are limited in how many points you can give to others.

This product helps create a fun culture that promotes helping others out. Despite everyone being busy, helping others on their own problems feels good personally, and also gets you points towards a cool prize. People are more comfortable to go to others for help, and everyone is glad to help.

"Easy and Engaging"

What do you like best?

Achievers is has a slick interface and is easy and engaging to use. Simple setup, and fun to recognize colleagues with notes, cards, and tying it all in to the company objectives.

What do you like best?

Social platform that publically communicates recognition and validates cultural norms. Peer to peer as well as management recognition. Versatile options for many devices and giving recognition for what matters to our business and our team members. Very large catalog of items for which to redeem points.

"simple and fun way to praise employees "

What do you like best?

I love how simple the site is to use. Achievers makes it easy to send a quick praise note to your employee with points they can use to redeem for gifts or gift cards. Another great feature is the ability to share with coworkers!

Many of the gift cards are in email format which may send to the spam folder.

What do you like best?

Achievers is a great application to recognize colleagues for their hard work. I liked how you could redeem rewards points for gift cards or physical gifts. The points never expired and did not go away once you leave the company.

I didn't like how how one could not transfer points from their own personal bank to another colleague's.
