Boosting always costs points. Sometimes I want to effectively 'applaud' or agree with the recognition but I would have to either Like or Boost it. A Like is not meaningful enough. Boosting also applies to all members of the recognition which I sometimes cannot afford.
There are too many leaderboards! I just want to know, selfishly, am I being recognized but less so who is doing the recognizing.
I wish my unawarded point balance would roll over. Some months I want to recognize more than two people but my allocation can only be split in two.
It would be great if you could request ad hoc points budgets in special cases where you've already awarded your allocated points for the month but desire to recognize someone for something exceptional.
It would also be really neat if you could create cards or recognition for non-work related life events - like a coworker who has a baby or buys a home or got a promotion. We seem to only have cards for Work Anniversaries..
Morale is improved. It is a great way to facilitate a true recognition but is also really fun to see the creative things people give attaboys for. I enjoy getting to tell my coworkers when they've done a kick ass job in a creative way. I also appreciate that managers get to see what their employees find helpful and relevant and therefore, worth applauding.
