"Mi lector favorito de PDF desde hace años"

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

What Document Creation solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!

"La mejor (y oficial) forma de editar archivos PDF"

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"The Only Program for Drafting/Editing Fillable Forms"

What do you like best?

The platform is super user-friendly and intuitive. It's also quite fast compared with some other programs. Great, clean interface. I like that the "Tools" are easily accessible and show up as buttons. I also like that it is easy to toggle between different functions.

What do you dislike?

It would be helpful to have more shortcuts, especially for filling in forms (checkboxes, radio buttons, text fields). I feel like this sometimes is much more time-consuming than it ought to be. Keyboard shortcuts would be very helpful for creating different objects and fields.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think that investing in Adobe Acrobat and especially the Creative Suite package is worthwhile as an investment in terms of providing your employees with the best and most user-friendly tools to create forms and images.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I draft and edit fillable forms. This program is so intuitive that I rarely need to find instructions to perform necessary functions. Furthermore, I prefer the visual aspect of Adobe in comparison with other programs.

"Interesting support software to create, modify and view files in PDF format. "

What do you like best?

This program is of great support for my teaching, research and social bonding activities. I use it when I want to socialize unpublished intellectual creation documents that are not vulnerable to being modified or easily copied, such as: Essays, scientific articles, guides or study texts. I also use it to generate communications and institutional reports of digital archives. Among the features that I like most about this program are: 1) It shows a visual and ordered design of the text. 2) It offers free version of easy installation. 3) It is compatible with different operating systems keeping the original design of the document. 4) The edition and printing of the document can be configured in order to guarantee its authenticity. 5) It has a mobile application that allows you to share files through social networks like Whatsap. 6) The generated files are lightweight and take up little space on your hard drive. 7) You can export and convert PDF files to Word, Excel and Powert Point. 8) The prints of the PDF documents are of high quality.

What do you dislike?

Although it has many benefits, I consider that this program has an intermediate degree of difficulty for its application, the user must take time to learn to use the various options offered. There are options such as exporting files that require an internet connection to be able to run. And others like the edition ones that are not free.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I recommend using Adobe when you want to preserve the originality of your documents and hinder plagiarism. It is also a support tool to create digital files and eliminate the use of paper

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With this program many problems of plagiarism or copy of files are solved. As it provides the user with a high level of protection and security to the files, preserving their originality. The use of this program does not represent a high cost because it offers a free version. Another interesting aspect is that PDF can generate digital files, eliminating the use of paper, thus contributing to preserve the environment.

"This is the most complete PDF software you could have in your computer"

What do you like best?

I personally like all the features of Adobe Acrobat DC because you can do all your tasks with one software. You can create and edit documents whenever you are. I really enjoy that I can scan my files and transform them into PDF files and have them in my computer. I also like the synchronization in all of my devices (my computer, cellphone, tablet and more). It is really simple to use, you don't have to worry about difficulties or problems when you are using it. I like that you only need you mail to have everything at hand. I fully recommend it.

What do you dislike?

There's no much to say about cons, but one thing that I don't like is that AADC doesn't accept or run videos that use Flash so I can't attach them into the files. In my opinion, there should be more support in that part in order to provide users the same characteristics they already had. That is my only concern with this software.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It is known that Adobe Acrobat DC is the best PDF software in the market so you just have to use the sofware and you will see that it is the best option for you.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have solved everything with this sofware. Since I first used it I completely love it becase it has many functions that you can use at work, for college and in any other field where you have to use files. I have to work creating files everyday and this is totally functional. I create files from zero, edit others that are already done and can scan documents or pictures that I need digitized.

"Very useful and practical application"

What do you like best?

I like it because it is an easy program that allows you to compress documents, edit, fill and share PDF files very easily, I use it very often to fill different forms in this format, especially the forms for applications in the bank that without this application would be impossible to complete.

What do you dislike?

What I really do not like is that at the time of installation, two applications were downloaded with Adobe Reader without downloading authorization, besides the installation was a little slow, due to the fact that it is a bit heavy and required to install the other two applications also before the execution.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Very good 100% functional application, it complies with everything that promises therefore I recommend it to create, edit, compress and fill documents with PDF formats.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I really use this application to fill important spreadsheets in PDF formats so I think that this characteristic of adobe acrabat is one of the great benefits that it offers me....

"Great for Important PDFs!"

What do you like best?

One of the things I like about this program is that I don't need to use it as often as some of the other Adobe programs and it offers you subscriptions that are month to month as opposed to a year long subscription.

What do you dislike?

At times when you are working with text the program will think that you are working an image file so it can be a tad bit annoying. Also on the same note when you are trying to highlight texts it can be inaccurate. Both these issues don't happen often but just minor issues that lend to little delays.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Great program for your editing needs, it is a must for any business that deals with a lot of PDF edits!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This program is super reliable when it comes to transferring important documents since it allows us to change these documents in a much more expedient manner, with less issues and errors, with better security and efficiency. Knowing that our important documents are protected makes us a much better and effective business.

"Mi experiencia Adobe"

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Most Feature Rich and Intuitive Adobe Acrobat yet!"

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat DC has been a godsend in our work environment. The ease with which users are now able to edit and share documents has improved and sped up the time it takes to complete departmental work.

What do you dislike?

For a support perspective I somewhat do not like that once the software is installed it is unusable until and Adobe ID is created. In time crunch situations this can be frustrating. Though, this is the direction that all major software producers are now taking.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I highly recommend that administrators assign licenses prior to installing the software as the software is unusable until an Adobe ID is created and a license assigned to it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The biggest business problem that is being solved by us using Adobe Acrobat DC is the time it used to take to scan and convert documents into PDF files. With Adobe Acrobat DC users are now able to scan directly to PDF by using the Create PDF function. This has saved my department and organization many hundreds of hours of man time in just the last year.

"Adobe Acrobat is a great product that has a lot of built-in functionality for PDF's."

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat allows me to review, edit, combine, or change the page order of PDF's. The is a weekly need and makes tasks quicker and smoother when handling PDF's.

What do you dislike?

There are a couple small functions that they made a bit more of a manual process. If I select to combine files, I can drag and drop the files to turn them into PDF's or turn multiple files into PDF's. If I select that I want to convert a file, however, I have to find the file in a pop-up browser. It seems they could have just kept the drag and drop functionality across the features.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This product is best acquired as a part of Adobe Creative Cloud, unless it's the only product needed. The pricing around Adobe CC is amazing and the host of apps just keeps getting better.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I handle many print and digital products, and Acrobat allows me to work with the pre-printed files easily, as well as add supplemental content easily before sending to print.

"Me permite acceder y/o crear documentos en formato pdf, ayudandome en lo laboral y vida cotidiana"

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

* Lectura y Generación de documentos pdf.

" It is a useful tool to present reports!"

What do you like best?

What I like most about this program is that I can work in a very comfortable, quick and easy way, I can import files without major problems and in the end I get the product I want, it's great!.

Due to the amount of reports and documents that I generate in my work I have learned to use this tool and it is truly the best that I have achieved, I like to work with it and it is very necessary for me.

What do you dislike?

The least I like is that sometimes it becomes very heavy to download large files, apart from the fact that the update of the program is not fast, many times it takes a long time to improve the faults and this causes discomfort.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The main thing is to constantly update the program so that it can work optimally, the part of problem solutions should also be broader, the other fucniona very well and is simply excellent

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The main benefits of the program is that it allows me to handle my reports in a very simple way, for my work it is a very useful tool, but I would like the improvements to be much more constan.

In my work, this tool is very necessary and useful because with it I manage the reports and documents that I do, that is why I always need this program to work very well and to be updated in order to obtain maximum performance in my work.

"A mixed bag of nuts"

What do you like best?

For document handling, it's very difficult to beat Adobe Acrobat DC. Organizing pages, editing PDF's, combining documents, adding and deleting pages, even adding headers/footers, are all easily accomplished in Acrobat DC. Form filling and editing are also superior in acrobat.

What do you dislike?

Acrobat DC is a very temperamental program, and it doesn't use the same keyboard shortcuts as the rest of the Adobe Suite. Documents saved out of Word often encounter errors in Acrobat. It also doesn't play well with other PDF handlers like Bluebeam Revu

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would recommend Adobe Acrobat DC to anyone who is using other Adobe products and who will be using the program primarily for document handling. If you are looking for a program that can easily handle drawings or the like, I would recommend a different program.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Acrobat is my go-to program for compiling proposals from different subcontractors, rearranging pages in brochures, and form filling.

"The Only Tool You Need for PDFs"

What do you like best?

What is not to like about Adobe Acrobat DC?! In this one program you can combine files into one large PDF, you can delete pages, reorganize pages, create pages that have fill or sign options and much more.

What do you dislike?

I use Adobe Acrobat DC almost every day and there isn't really anything about this program that I don't like.

Recommendations to others considering the product

There are many tools to use in this one program besides just reading a PDF. Play around with the many tools in Adobe Acrobat DC. You can even edit text from a PDF and make changes so the document looks exactly how you want.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

One of the best features is being able to combine PDF files into one file. Every month we send a media plan to our clients and after we convert our excel document into a pdf, and then take the individual pages into one large PDf. Before we found this tool we would print the pages from Excel and scan them into one file.

"Excelente programa para la visualización y edición de archivos PDF"

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Worth the Creative Cloud ALONE"

What do you like best?

PDFs are one of the most commonly utilized document formats, and there are ALWAYS issues with them. Typos, formatting, layout issues, etc. Instead of the painful process of re-exporting the Word Doc to another PDF, Acrobat lets you edit the document directly, to your heart's content.

What do you dislike?

When you use the right hand feature navigation menu, like for example when I click on Organize Pages, a new "tab" takes over the screen with all the Organize Pages options. Having been trained that the feature navigation is on the right hand side, you're now searching for which button gets you back to that menu.

We already know that at the top of the tab, pressing that X will close the document. How would we intuitively presume that the even LARGER X on the right hand side does NOT close the document, but rather takes you back to the friendly right side menu again?

Recommendations to others considering the product

Its still the best!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Quickly edit and adjust PDF files, whether you created them or not. This helps alleviate the pain of sending strangely formatted Word Docs that are missing fonts and getting muddled up in translation. We've put together e-Books, internal documents and more in this format, which is friendly to every workstation and mobile phone alike.

"Powerful and full featured PDF suite"

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat DC is the full purchasable version or Adobe Reader, which is free. Because it is a full featured version and is somethin you have to pay for one of the best features that is offered is PDF editing. I utilize this frequently, especially when we cannot find source files for things, and love how the features work and talk to each other.

What do you dislike?

Short of complaining that sometimes PDFs open quite slow when they are long, there really isn't much for me to dislike. The software enables me and my team to do pretty much everything we need!

Recommendations to others considering the product

There are some backend things Adobe Acrobat team could work on to make the process of opening and managing PDF files a little more abvious and easy, but all in all, great just Adobe team! I especially enjoy how the software works interchangibally with all of the other Adobe Creative Cloud software suite. This makes things much easier.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

One of the biggest business problem my team and I solve is having the ability to edit actual PDF data when we cannot locate a source file.

"Now makes PDF's the most convenient file type "

What do you like best?

Combining, editing and organizing digital and printed presentations is a huge help to me. I use multiple softwares to create my media, and Acrobat lets me blend it all together to best communicate my ideas. It's easy to reorder slides, rotate and resize pages. Also, the file size compression is magic.

What do you dislike?

There are times I wish I had a little more of the Adobe Illustrator functionality, usually when I want to make a last minute graphical addition. I also wish I could store one more signature (my wife's) in the digital signature function. I do wish this software was less expensive, because there have been many times that my friends and family have asked for my help with problems Acrobat solves beautifully, but didn't own Acrobat for me to show them the ropes.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's worth the money. You'll probably end up using it even more than you estimate.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's a huge help to put dynamic presentations into an easily sharable PDF. I used to send multiple emails with multiple files, in hopes that the client would know how to make sense of the order. The compression abilities make emailing large presentation documents so much easier and dependable. Clients who aren't familiar with file types in which I create can still easily view the finished products. The images and graphics still look great on screen. And on another note: the fillable forms and digital signing is also a huge time saver. It comes in handy more and more - I may just forget how to sign my name...

"La mejor opción para visualizar archivos desde diferente dispositivos que provengan en formato pdf. "

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"The Standard PDF Viewer and Editor Does It All"

What do you like best?

This is the industry standard for PDF viewers and PDF book managers, but it is definitely full-featured and ticks all of the boxes of what the application should be able to do. The program is constantly adding new features that are beyond the scope of what we need to use the application for, but it is always nice to see that they are always working on improving the functionality of the program.

What do you dislike?

The first few times I used the program to combine multiple PDFs into a single PDF document, I found it to be a bit confusing. Overall, the program has a very simple feel to it, but is actually a bit more complex than one would imagine. Once you get the hang of it, it is simple. There seems to be a learning curve, however.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This program usually comes bundled with other Adobe suite programs, so it is perhaps rare that you would be looking to purchase a licence individually. It is a full featured product that should be able to satisfy almost any PDF reading, form filling or combining need that isn't considered an extremely specialized task.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use this program for viewing PDFs as well as combining exported images from our online course designing software into a PDF book that contains all of the images. This is then uploaded to a server for our learners to review anytime. Using this software we can batch import and save, and it only takes a very short amount of time.

"Decent Tool for Editing PDFs and TIFFs"

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat DC is the professional version of Acrobat. It's a decent application for editing PDFs and TIFFs because it's got a variety of tools for things like adding comments, comparing files, adding e-signatures, and more.

What do you dislike?

I really hate the export options in this program. Why would I possibly want to export something in the 1995 version of Acrobat? Is there something I'm missing here. Suffice it to say, Adobe could do a much better job clarifying these settings for users.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As I mentioned above, Acrobat is a solid tool for editing PDFs and scanned TIFF files. If all you need to do is open and read a PDF, though, you can probably use Apple's preview instead.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

My team and I use Acrobat in our day-to-day for adding comments to files and making edits to print documents (particularly in terms of reducing file size).

"Best Overall Pdf Application "

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat has been on top for a while and I think that comes down to the fact that it just works. It does what you want it to do, and you know what to expect.

What do you dislike?

My primary dislike with Acrobat DC is much the same as with other Adobe Products. Automating actions and scripts is a bit out reach for the average end user, and bringing more action/batch/script functionality in a more accessible format is desired.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Printing demands A LOT of pdf use. I use Acrobat DC for nearly every single file I send to my machines. I know what to expect when using it, and am able to check for issues before they become them, thus preventing almost all conflicts I would have run into by sending files directly from Illustrator, InDesign, or other softwares.

"Great for small markups"

What do you like best?

I like how all the tools are not cluttering the screen. There are three tabs on the top for document, tools and home so you only have what you need when you need it. I use it mainly for basic markups on PDF's as well as to export to different file types.

What do you dislike?

I feel that the editing capabilities are limited. I have also used Nitro Pro PDF editor and found that it can do much more and it's easier.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are using it for basic touch ups and editing its perfect, if you need heavier editing capabilities you may want to consider other options.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have many old documents that were scanned as PDF's and the originals were not saved. I use Acrobat DC to recognize the text and convert back to Word so I can update the files as needed.

"Adobe's Best Document Editing Software"

What do you like best?

The ease of use and the multiple file extensions you are able to edit in Acrobat. The ability to produce documents that have to be signed electronically with a couple clicks of the mouse. Its easily editable across pc and mac formats.

What do you dislike?

Not user friendly. The interface can be a bit hard to navigate for beginners, but continued use can prove to be very beneficial in the end. The tools are not user friendly, and can be confusing to use at first. I recommend providing a tutorial to first time users.

"Editing with Adobe Acrobat DC"

What do you like best?

Overall Adobe Acrobat DC is great! You may get a client who sends you something over in a PDF format and you want to reuse something or simple see a grammatical error and you can easily swap out the change in a couple clicks. Then re-save the file without bother your client for an update and playing the waiting game.

What do you dislike?

Couple editing features seem a tad difficult. One that Sticks out to me is when I am trying to edit a resume and its multiple pages. There maybe a section that I need to remove and that section takes up half of one page then breaks to another page. Removing the data is simple but trying to move the data on the other page up to the empty space where a delete sometimes is tricky. Once you get the hang of it its not horrible but there should be an easier way.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Highly Recommend!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We don't have to call our customers back for errors or things needing to be removed. We can simple edit out the items ourselves and get things done faster.

"PDFs dream BFF"

What do you like best?

I love that this program gives you the ability to edit and manipulate PDFs, something that is almost impossible otherwise. You can combine PDFs, edit them, create them, organize them.. There are many options you didn't even know were possible. The ability to reduce PDFs or export as images is very nice. I also enjoy the scanned text option to allow searchable PDFs

What do you dislike?

I feel like the design of the software attempts to dumb things down by using icons and it makes a bit confusing and I end up clicking around on the wrong things that look similar to what I wanted. I also don't like that you can't easily merge two separate PDFs, where one is all odd pages and one is all even pages, so that it's perfectly collated. There are works arounds but time consuming.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think the user interface is very easy for many to pick up, especially in comparison to other adobe products like photoshop or illustrator. You can easily work files between these programs to create a final piece that works well for your needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am editing text for trade books as well as using print options that acrobat DC offers for my HP printers. I view and edit PDFs when I don't have a word document file to work with.

"Love all the options!"

What do you like best?

I love all the different tools in one place for editing, sending, organizing, etc. I've used these in so many different areas and it's great having everything in one place.

What do you dislike?

I still don't know how to send a document for me to sign after my client. It seems like it should be more straightforward. I'm able to sign ahead of time but cannot edit it after I've signed. If a client requests an amendment, I need to redo the entire thing. I"ve sent the form and tried to sign after them, but I got an error that I wasn't able to edit a signed document.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This product is a part of the Adobe Creative Cloud membership. Anyone who's already utilizing this membership should definitely begin using Acrobat DC's tools in their business.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I'm able to send contracts to clients with ease, update my PDF forms and send forms that need comment from clients regarding proofs.

"Best pdf reader available in the market"

What do you like best?

1)easy it is to use

2) useful tools option that I need

3) can fill and sign documents

4) combining multiple files into a single pdf

5) edit pdf documents

6) highlighting/ marking option is helpful to mark important information.

What do you dislike?

The only most wanted thing that I miss is optical character recognition or OCR. Acrobat should implement it. The other problem is that it can not split a pdf file which has several pages into separate pdf documents.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Adobe Acrobat DC is a great resource for creating various kinds of pdfs and pdf forms. The editing option is helpful for students and other user. The marking option is helpful for researcher and professor to mark any important information.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our university uses it for various purposes. If someone need to send some report, they also send it in pdf in lieu of hard copy or word file. Adobe Acrobat DC allows the user across my university to digitally sign all papers.

"Essential for business"

What do you like best?

The flexibility and endless uses for this software make it an essential tool. Most of all, I like the ability to edit and enhance what once were paper documents and give people the ability to fill them out online. The send and track is great for organizing documents sent to multiple people. I feel that this software is well documented, and that Adobe has done a great job explaining the many uses for the software.

What do you dislike?

There is not a lot that I dislike about this software. It runs pretty smoothly and is easy to use. The main issue that the program seems to have is that it will crash from time to time without warning. I would highly recommend saving your work regularly to avoid losing work and time.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I always recommend using Adobe's video tutorials if you are new to using one of their products. To be able to further take advantage of the many features it has to offer, I suggest that you use lynda.com . It is a great resource and even after years of experience, I learn new things all the time and keep myself updated with it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Love being able to edit a PDF!!"

What do you like best?

This version of Adobe Acrobat is awesome! I love being able to edit with a PDF and I'm even able to add text and match the font. I also like being able to extract a page from a PDF and save just the page that's relevant.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes, when I'm using the edit document function I'm not able to type with the text box. This happened to me today; it kept deleting the entire line of copy instead of allowing me to add a few more words.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I frequently have to download large documents from the Internet, e.g. signage codes for the City of Houston. It takes a long time to find the relevant part of the code for our project. Once I find the pages I need -- I can use the highlight tool to highlight the key part of the code and extract the page I need to save in my project file.

"Easy, useful, and practical software"

What do you like best?

Super easy to use and makes life easier! DC is versatile, simple, and effective and keeps adding helpful features.

What do you dislike?

Lacks some of the advanced features of Pro but still a very comprehensive program. Practice makes perfect to learn the program's features but once you do you'll see that DC is invaluable.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Everyone should have this software as a universal means of sharing and managing PDFs, which in turn should be a universal file format to preserve the integrity of document designs. Acrobat DC is a MUST!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Acrobat DC makes it so much easier to send drafts of marketing materials across my agency so even staff members without design software can easily view rough drafts of projects. I can edit PDFs to a degree, easily view PDFs online, and share them with pretty much any computer.

"A dynamic tool for everybody"

What do you like best?

What I like the best about Adobe Acrobat DC it's the dynamic approach it has. It pretty useful for everybody, I can produce a concept, idea or complete artwork and send it to a client, or to more than one people and receive amendments and recommendations in the same document. This allows a productivity overflow that I found ideal.

What do you dislike?

Like with many professional programs, when pro and more advanced tools have been used on a document I receive, sometimes it takes some time understanding what's happening.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's such a good tool, that I think improves the way people can produce and relate with their work. It has since the most simple level to the pro level, so I would highly recommend it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

communication. A hole project can improve in a very powerful mode due to how easy it is to read, print and make notes, or even protect, when one has to show but at the same time protect important information.

"For quick edits and mergers"

What do you like best?

The ability to quickly cut multi-page PDFs down to a single page; the ability to merge multiple documents into one; the ability to perform quick edits on PDFs, even those not generated by Acrobat; the ability to export PDFs quickly in other formats while maintaining quality.

What do you dislike?

The inability to change or alter font size, especially if the font match isn't entirely accurate; the tendency of Acrobat to merge words together when entering the "edit" function, especially with sans serif fonts; the un-intuitive nature of the crop tool and the fact that original parts of the document are left behind in the metadata upon cropping.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Use this before Illustrator when making quick changes or for signing documents. Use this for quick converts of PDFs and other docs to images, but use Photoshop if you want to stay HQ when converting pages with images AND text.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Merging documents; taking apart documents; reformatting documents for presentations; making quick text alterations; cropping whole pages down to single elements.

"Great tool for editing PDF Documents"

What do you like best?

This tool makes it incredibly easy to edit PDF documents, as well as create and edit flyers for different functions. This software is really helpful for sending out invoices and agreement forms to have the recipient fill out and submit back. The signature function is very useful.

What do you dislike?

This software is kinda pricy, it is just under $200 a year, and that can be a larger cost when you work for a non-profit. But this software is well worth it when it comes to the usefulness. It would be more reasonable to pay $200 one time fee instead of having to license this software every year.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This program is very useful, but it does take some time to get use to. Overall I have been very pleased with it. Learning this program will help significantly with the users ability to use the tool's full potential,.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This has made the process of building and sending invoices to clients much easier. Instead of having to build a work document, I can edit the PDF to be customized to what is needed for that individual organization.

"Surprisingly Robust PDF Viewer & Editor"

What do you like best?

I love the ability to straight-up edit PDF files and make changes I didn't think were previously changeable in PDF files. It's no Photoshop or Illustrator, but Acrobat has proven to be a solid, dependable PDF editor.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes I forgot to toggle between the view and edit modes - really small annoyance if any. If you utilize a lot of different fonts, it can be tedious scrolling up/down to find the font you want.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I can't speak to the value/price, but if you're looking for a PDF editor/viewer that's intuitive, glitch-free and fast, at least get a free trial to see if it meets your business objectives.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're able to edit, markup and eventually finalize customer-facing documents faster than we ever have before. It's nice to have a simple program like Acrobat if you're looking to make a few simple changes that don't really require the power of Illustrator or more advanced applications.

"Acrobat Get The Job Done"

What do you like best?

The ease in creating live forms is terrific, and has served me well on countless projects. Similarly the ability to redact sensitive text easily from a document is a huge time-saver compared to other more manual methods.

What do you dislike?

The app has gone through a few interface changes over the past few years as it's transitioned from Acrobat Pro, so I'm still trying to find certain features and optimize the way i use the app.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's a relatively minor expense to give it a try, and I'm willing to be that you'll be pleased with the results. Kick it around for a few weeks doing whatever specific reason you need it for, learn all Acrobat DC is capable of, and I'd be surprised if it can't do what you desire. Further, if Acrobat DC can't do it, I'd tend to think no PDF creation/editing app can do it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Creating and distributing documents for myself or for my clients. Making live forms to be use by clients for their business purposes.

"Oh Sweet Acrobat, where hast thou gone?"

What do you like best?

AT BEST, Acrobat is a semi-useful PDF viewer and a semi-semi decent pdf editor.

What do you dislike?

1. Stability - Crashes early and often

2. Feature Set - PDF's ubiquity demands more and more editing features. Acrobat DC does not provide them, and the ones they do provide are buried beneath a further clunkified interface

3. The interface - I mean, not to put too fine a point on it, but they are treating the interface like a Fisher Price toy. Bright circus colors, big round buttons, etc. But this doesn't make it easier to use. It, in fact, obfuscates features.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Evaluate your needs. How much PDF editing do you have to do? Any? Is it light? is it heavy?

if light, DC might just do the job. If heavy....well, there are other better options.

FOR EXAMPLE. Adobe Illustrator is a terrific heavy PDF editor. Esko's Neo app is, well the interface is bad, but the features are great. You gotta have a clear idea of where you want to go.

Affinity Designer is new and can edit PDFs it's on the heavy side, but it's up and coming and terrific.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

If you are working with an Adobe workflow, it has the benefit of being included in the whole shebang. So the problems it solves? You can view PDFs. It even promises editing. And I'll admit it's come in handy in that respect a few times. Once you grok the relationship between the Acrobat and the rest of the suite, you can get some things done.

"An Essential Tool for Any Marketer"

What do you like best?

I have been using variations of the full Adobe Acrobat product for as long as I can remember, and I can't imagine life without it. I love that we can use it on a variety of devices - both PC and Mac - on items generated from a wide variety of programs and still have everything look exactly as it was created and intended to look. I also love that you can edit documents that you don't have the source files of - that's a huge time saver.

What do you dislike?

The old forms integration for building forms was terrible, but the new release has really made a huge difference. Forms are much easier to produce and edit than previously. There's not too much else I dislike. If I had to stretch a bit, I would say the price could come down a bit, but honestly, I don't mind paying what we do for it.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Get it - it has been such a lifesaver for us on so many different occasions. I honestly could not do my job without it and it's the best money we spend

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use it for a whole variety of purposes - from generating drafts for approval on creatives for our clients, to forms, to proposals, to final print ready versions of documents and other marketing materials. We also use it for editing and review cycles to track changes and add notes on the content we've generated. We use it so often, I'm sure I'm forgetting something else.

"Pretty good"

What do you like best?

I really only use Adobe Acrobat to view PDF proofs and edits sent by clients. But it has never given me an issue in that regard!

What do you dislike?

I don't know if it's just mine or what, but there is a definite delay from when I double click a PDF to when it opens. Not to sound impatient...but if I am in a hurry to view something it's pretty annoying. I also don't like where the tools are located (on the right hand side). When I have to click back and forth from a program to Adobe Acrobat, a lot of the time I'll accidentally click a tool and it'll take me somewhere else.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Adobe Acrobat is great, in my opinion. I don't think you have to be in any specific industry to be able to get use out of it. I feel like no matter who you are or what you do, if you use a computer it can benefit you!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

So, my Microsoft Word malfunctions a lot for some unknown reasons, but I can actually view Word docs from Adobe Acrobat, and that has helped me personally. I'm sure not everyone faces that problem haha. One benefit that Adobe Acrobat has it it's little sticky notes! I love when clients mark up PDFs with those sticky notes, it's very helpful.

"Acrobat DC - Allowing us to create compatible documents!"

What do you like best?

-Seamless and native web integration

-Accessibility is open to most all platforms (i have never had an issue, no matter what im operating, accessing my Adobe pdf documents)

-Creation of documents into pdf files is extremely easy and sharable (I can most of the time be in my current application to export as pdf. I can even use the functions inside Adobe to choose my file. All very easily accessible)

-Editing capabilities is almost endless to the need (I have had to make packets of information that included combining all types of information. Editing this content is extremely easy and user friendly)

-Being able to access this on my phone whenever needed. (this helps when trying to access documents on other shared drives that need to save space. Due to being able to compress files to reduced sizes)

What do you dislike?

-Limited eSign functions (why take away what Acrobat was already capable of?)

-No built-in multipage stamp tool (this can be implemented through actionlist or javascript but not out of the box)

-Crashing can be an issue, especially when running heavily involved processes (javascript, layered elements, large pdf files)

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are building forms, make sure to look for help with the javascript portions on the Adobe community site. There are a lot of helpful sites but I felt the Adobe community was definitely the most active and accurate when finding what I needed.

"Adobe Acrobat DC - Powerful but Failing UI"

What do you like best?

Acrobat offers a wide array of features that make authoring and editing PDFs a breeze. Whether you need to do simple tasks or complicated print production, Acrobat has the features that you need.

What do you dislike?

The redesigned UI is focused on the GUI, and unlike other applications that have gone this way but kept most of their existing shortcuts, Adobe has done away with many shortcuts that make the program efficient to use for frequent users. Now you must click here, there, and everywhere in order to accomplish the same things.

For those who don't know, the UI has essentially segmented into objective-based views called tools. Working towards a single objective is thus streamlined, but doing many things with a file means going back and forth between multiple tools.

Recommendations to others considering the product

New users will have a breeze working with Acrobat, finding and using the tools they need. However, efficiency can be difficult to achieve and there may be other companion applications you should consider for specific needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Transmitting documents in a non-editable format, most commonly letters, contracts, and construction drawings. We have used Acrobat for many years despite considering alternatives... the features Acrobat provides are the most complete set available.

"Can adobe do anything wrong? "

What do you like best?

Using Adobe Acrobat DC is by far the easiest and most efficient way to read and interact with your pdf files. The amount of options is remarkable, and features such as fill and sign (which I tend to use most often working at an office) are smooth and perfect. Adobe Acrobat DC is one of those apps where you don't even realize how useful it is until you're stuck on a computer without it. Also it now works with the Adobe cloud which is extremely useful.

What do you dislike?

The pro subsicription is 180.00 annually which I guess can be a bit pricey for some people. Lack of email and phone support can be annoying but the live chat makes up for it I would say.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are not already using Adobe, I do not know what to tell you. It is the go to application for PDF files. The tutorials are vast and specific, so although it may seem like a lot at first. Their online (downloadable) tutorial menus can help you every step of the way.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Every business big or small, no matter the field deals with PDF files at some point. Adobe Acrobat DC is the standard. I have yet to experience major problems with it and it has solved every issue concerning PDFs. It is the new norm. Dealing with PDFs has never been easier, and due to the widespread popularity of Adobe, this is just another product they have failed to dissapoint with.

"Great funtionality for editing, signing documents"

What do you like best?

- Ease of use across platforms

- Intuitive interface

- Portability

Obviously, any PDF appears the same on all platforms and computers. That's been true for decades. The great thing about DC is that you can edit text and photos right on the document, make comments, etc. and then pass them along to the next person for further comment. They even have a combo strike-out/comment tool that allows you to strike out text and comment with one click of a button. This may seem like a small thing, but when you're editing a manuscript and have to make hundreds of comments, this one function alone can save you a fair bit of time.

What do you dislike?

It can get expensive to have full editing capability -- the Pro DC version. For example, it's around $15 a month to edit text and images within the PDF file. That is a relatively inexpensive option if you're a professional editor, as you'll have the income, but expensive for less intense users.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Start by using the free version if you're using it infrequently. I've found that most in my group haven't found the need to purchase the editing functionality, as powerful as it is. Again, this program is a life saver if you're on the go and have the need to sign contracts. This is my go-to product for that.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I give, ask for, and receive editorial feedback using Adobe Acrobat DC, particularly when working across word processing programs -- some writers use Scrivener, others use Word, and conversions from PC to Mac still aren't error free. So Acrobat is a great solution to that, particularly if you're working on the go -- for example, in an Android OS on your tablet. Simply convert the file to Acrobat, and you're off and running. Another reason I love this program so much is its signature capability. I've used it so sign contracts while traveling -- on my tablet, and in one case on my phone. It's a life saver. Saves time, money, faxing, etc.

"Useful in more ways than I know!"

What do you like best?

I think the best feature for me is that I can save a website as a PDF and all links remain active. When I'm working on an Alpha or Beat site test for a client, I can easily share specific pages for them to mark up and send back for revision. It really is the best part of the tool for me.

What do you dislike?

As far as being self-taught, it was difficult to maneuver at first. I had to watch many YouTube videos and Adobe tutorials for what I was trying to accomplish; and I'm sure there are many features I still don't know exist.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take your time and LEARN. I am still learning, and the more I know, the more I use it. It's replacing other bogged down programs that I've meandered through in the past.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am able to quickly share specific we pages with clients for their review and response. It's so much easier to send them a PDF of a particular page I'm working on instead of worrying about them navigating to the right place on the alpha site, where all inks may not be active. I also love using it for a basic way to manage all of the forms I need to use inter-office such as credit card slips and fax cover sheets.

"Vital for a Business"

What do you like best?

I use Adobe Acrobat DC daily, many times. It is a vital part of my workday because I use it as a PDF saver. I read documents clearly, I can make edits, and sign documents quickly and easily to become more efficient.

What do you dislike?

At this current moment I have no dislikes with Adobe Acrobat DC. Like I said, if I did not have this in my everyday work routine, I would have to find something else to replace it because it is vital.

"Effective & easy to use features"

What do you like best?

One feature I have found most useful and convenient is the Fill & Sign tool. In my line of work, I have to sign agreements and contracts all the time, and this tool makes it so simple and quick to add my signature to a piece and return it, without the added time of having to print, sign, and scan.

What do you dislike?

In all honesty, I have not found anything I dislike about this program. I don't use a majority of the tools available, mostly because I don't have the need to, but what I do use I have no complaints with!

Recommendations to others considering the product

Adobe Acrobat seems to be the easiest reader software to use, with the most capability. While I have never purchased for myself another similar software, I have used programs on library and school computers and always find myself grateful for Adobe. I think it's a more powerful tool than I have the need for, but it's definitely worth exploring!

"Digital signatures with intelligence"

What do you like best?

Adobe continues to improve their entire family of products and digital signatures are a great example. You can now use digital signatures with intelligence and its built right into their pdf system. It's actually far easier than even Apple's signature process. They've also made it so even who you send it to, can use it without having their own full Adobe offering.

What do you dislike?

The only suggestion I would make is to make their website more customer/ user-friendly. They just have too many products and one can easily get lost in there trying to find the few that you do use.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are doing a lot of creative work and are using 2 or 3 of their other products, it's smart to stick with the one company as they really are listening to their customers now.

"A Great Hidden Gem"

What do you like best?

I can make quick edits to documents that clients send me with Adobe Acrobat DC, especially when they send me files that aren't compatible with more complex programs. Acrobat can always handle it. I also love when my clients use the track changes feature in this product. It provides an easier way to basically check off each item as I go through and make edits in a clear, easy to understand way, that doesn't involve me having to decode scanned in written marks.

I also love being able to quickly stitch together multiple documents and pages without downgrading the quality of files.

What do you dislike?

It can easily trick clients into thinking they are pros, which unfortunately usually leads them to attempting to make edits, save out, and then send to me, which takes some of the editability away from the source file.

There is also a disconnect as it tries to read every type of file, but doesn't always have the capability of doing so. This can sometimes lead to some font issues.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This program is definitely versatile. It provides a lot of editing options and is constantly upgrading and keeps within industry standards.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This is just a solid program for reading PDFs, copying text, making small edits, exporting, adding hyperlinks...the options are pretty endless.

"Makes Life Easy"

What do you like best?

The best thing about this software is that it basically allows anyone to read a file or document that may not have the software it was originally created on. It allows you to send and share extremely professional looking files in an easy to read and manage way. It also is great for things like contracts and getting needed signatures for those contracts.

What do you dislike?

I think that the way to create or edit pdf's in this software directly is a bit lacking. I think that the signing capabilities in the software are a bit lacking and the way you create and edit forms feels heavy. Meaning, it requires quite a bit of work to set up the form and have it look good. And if you take a form created outside of the reader and then add it to the reader and try to create a form to fill. I find that it always ends up overlapping or looking off. Perhaps its a lack of my design skills, but it should be a bit easier to set this up and eastablish it. If they really want to be a go to software, they need to fix this capability.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I guess watch tutorials about how to create forms, it will save you time. Also look into purchasing this alongside the adobe suite, as the editing capablities of this software dont equal the abilties of software like InDesign.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The ability to send clients files without the concern that they may not be able to open them due to a lack of the same software. The ability to create professional looking documents. The ability to compile alot of larger sized documents into one easy to read format.

"Gold standard for secure document"

What do you like best?

Adobe is the best product and a file type that is ubiquitous. There are many features and add-ons that can make this tool a must-have for document collaboration and editing. In particular, merging files, reordering pages, adding signatures and exporting to MS Office files such as Word and Excel is an indispensable time saver.

What do you dislike?

One of my issues with Adobe is that I have a new need/use of the product and find myself needing to purchase another add-on and feature for the product.

Recommendations to others considering the product

There are many robust features of Adobe, but many that will need to be added on for a full and robust user experience. Some of the more useful features have been to share documents for signature and conversion from PDF to files like Excel and Word. But these features are costly and purchased ala cart.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Adobe helps me with document organization and exporting information from PDFs into more usable file forms such as Excel and Word. I also need to document and store files with customer information and signatures. Requesting and getting signatures via Adobe makes this process much simpler than paper-based methods or multiple printing and scanning steps.

"Lets you create, edit and manage PDFs with ease"

What do you like best?

The editing tool is straightforward and means you won't have to worry about finding faults in a PDF again. A lot of the time when reading content, I notice little errors which usually requires the creator to go through and edit but instead of that, I can easily click edit and make changes myself.

What do you dislike?

I wish there was an easy way to let us know the fonts that are different and what needs to be installed as it's only when you start typing that you realise the fonts are different and only then you are prompted to install the relevant ones.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would recommend anyone who handles PDFs to try this out because by far, it is the easiest software to use and has the features you need, from handling comments to editing layouts.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This has been a real time-saver for us and has helped everyone be able to contribute to a piece of content as well as be able to change the format too. We can create images from PDFs and it just works much faster, meaning we save time and resources.

"Adobe Acrobat DC"

What do you like best?

I like this program it is the only software i use for PDF management. I working in the engineering field and creating our drawings printed to PDF makes it so easy to send, rather then conventionally printing out hard copies. I have always liked the editing capabilities, tho sometimes they can get a little sketchy. When making a comment on a sent PDF i like the post-its, drawing ability is very basic but it is still a decent feature. It usually works smooth.

What do you dislike?

I don's like how the tools are next to impossible to find. Easily found with the search function, but It is unnecessary. Sometimes when doing certain editing the program can get wonky. But really other then that there isn't to many thing i can say that i dislike about this program. Some time when dealing with a large file the combined pages are not always 100% sometime they may not show up or sometimes when printed they may appear distorted.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It is a phenomenal PDF program it has a few positives and a few negatives. All in all a great program. I would recommend it to anyone who is seeking a top notch pdf program, that is idea for setting up multi-page docs combining them, reducing pdf size and the like. great program and i love the why they have been going over the years.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Not really solving any type of businesses problem, this is just a vital piece of software that makes daily life very easy for the movement of docs.

"Adobe Acrobat DC - A Valuable Asset to You"

What do you like best?

I really like the ability to change a pdf that someone has sent to you. The best feature is text editing, but you can edit the pictures, crop the page, add pages, remove pages, copy pages - a ton of different things. I have used the text editing feature to copy text from a pdf and paste into another program so I could reformat to our corporate brand. I also love the option to export to an image. This is very useful when a pdf won't print or import as is into my layout program.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I dislike is the layout of the tools, but it is not a deal breaker. It just doesn't not flow well for me and I spend a lot of time looking for the tool I need.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is a very powerful program. Watch the tutorials and learn what you can do since there are so many options you wouldn't know of otherwise.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use Acrobat Pro DC to send and track changes to ads I create. Everyone can read the pdf and make comments directly into the file. I also use it to capture a single page of a multiple page pdf.

"Powerful PDF editor and creator, but difficult to use"

What do you like best?

Acrobats editing and creation features are second to none. Form creation is extremely powerful as Acribats auto-form detect is usually pretty accurate. Filling in the gaps where auto-form detect doesn’t work is clunky but doable. Editing existing PDFs typically works well, specifically in keeping existing formats and matching fonts.

What do you dislike?

Extremely expensive requiring - $15/month/computer for the Pro version and $13 for the standard version for as long as you use the program. Can still by it outright for $450 for the Pro version and $300 for standard. Competing products cost significantly less. As powerful a PDF creator/editor it is, it can be difficult to use. The interface is very clunky, and it is not always apparent where to go and what to click on to access certain features. Creating forms can be a lesson infrustrations as the auto-form detection does not always do a good job in detecting the various fields in a form. Editing an existing document can sometimes cause formatting issues which can be difficult, if not impossib,e to overcome.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Heavily weigh what PDF editing/creation features you need. Acrobat is extremely expensive and may not be worth it if all you need is to be able to create PDFs for Word docs or the like (there are a multitude of free options for that) or light editing of PDFs (there are much less expensive options for that). If you create editable PDF forms regularly, however, Acrobat is second to none in being able to so effectively.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Creating editable forms is the primary use, and it does work well for that. Being able to make minor edits to existing PDFs is a nice additional feature.

"Adobe's true Unsung Hero"

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat offers me a plethora of capabilities and features. This PDF application enables you create convert, sign, send, and manage PDF documents on any device. The Standard version works on Windows-powered desktops and devices, while the Pro is compatible with both Windows and Mac devices. More than just a PDF platform, Adobe Acrobat DC also functions as an eSignature solution (which is a major time saver). You can send documents to recipients located anywhere in the world and have the affix their legally binding signatures effortlessly. This is extremely valuable to me when working with you clients on the go.

What do you dislike?

Honestly I literally have no complaints about Acrobat.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Use in conjunction with mobile apps to experience the full benefits of Adobe Acrobat DC.

"Adobe Acrobat DC is a great tool for collaborative design"

What do you like best?

Allows users to share high quality files and make sharable editing notes in a clear way so that a designer/creator can easily update the original document. Has really good creation and editing features inside the program for small changes without going back to an original file, plus good OCR capabilities from scanned documents.

What do you dislike?

The interface requires a fairly high learning curve. easy to use, but not intuitive to learn. Takes a bit of time for it to all make sense.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Industry standard product. Will make it easier to work with others.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"So many ways to use"

What do you like best?

I like the fact that it can be used to edit just about any document in a .pdf format.

What do you dislike?

Probably my single biggest dislike of the program is the fact that it uses a lot of memory on the computer and has a tendency to lock up or freeze the computer. Other than that it works great.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure that when using this program you have a computer with a fast processor and lots of available RAM. Otherwise you will be prone to having your computer lock up or freeze. Other than that I suggest watching some YouTube videos to really get in depth on things that you might want to do in the program.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We can easily edit documents and insert what is needed. It is more than just an editor and can be used to create .pdf documents as well.

"Adobe Acrobat DC is a global standard"

What do you like best?

This program works well with the rest of the Adobe suite for a variety of things. Whether you're marking up a document, reviewing layouts, or sharing with a client. The universal accessibility makes it easy to use.

What do you dislike?

I also have to use Bluebeam for scale and measurements. Bluebeam is relatively clunky and poorly designed. I wish Adobe Acrobat DC had these features as well. I do understand that Bluebeam is specifically for the architecture industry and Adobe Acrobat DC is not.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think that adobe products in general are improved on a regular basis and Adobe Acrobat DC has improved dramatically since I first started designing.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Sending and filing versions of design documents. Sharing design concepts with clients, coworkers, and collaborators. Creating design packages for final production. Building specification documents.

"New improved and powerful Adobe Acrobat for pros"

What do you like best?

The biggest feature of Acrobat Pro DC is the power of the program. As a creative I have to always be able to access my files on the go on on a mobile device and be able to be productive. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC allows me to open multi layered PDF files and make edits to text on the fly without ha omg to open any intense design programs. I can make tweaks to files on the go and get it to a client faster.

What do you dislike?

File compression controls, there are options to optimize and reduce file size of the current document, however it’s not he most effective in its compression abilities, I often times click the reduce file size option, and the file size is only reduced by a tiny fraction.

Recommendations to others considering the product

There are many PDF reading applications, and many other options available on the market, but this application is created by Adobe and works seamlessly with the entire suite. If you are a user who needs an application for reading, marking up, and managing PDF files, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC will not fall short of any of your expectations.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Layered PDFs have been the most useful tool with my clients, I can create PDFs that have alternate options and versions hidden on layers. This has been useful in creating a single pdf that a client can interact with and it is effecient with notes and debacle a client can provide within the application.

"Best PDF reader/writer out there!"

What do you like best?

I love the ability to edit scanned text. You can scan in a document and edit the image text. Adobe does a great job of matching the text style.

What do you dislike?

I feel like the combine files feature could be better. If I'm currently working in a document that I'd like to add another file to, it would be nice to just be able to add it. Instead you have to combine the multiple files and then it creates a separate document.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I recommend you purchase this program for your business. It has so many uses that will benefit any industry. It's worth every penny.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Love the upgraded features with Adobe Acrobat DC!"

What do you like best?

I absolutely love being able to export a PDF to Microsoft Word. I also love being able to edit PDFs versus trying to search for the file in it's original format and make edits in that format first.

What do you dislike?

This isn't really a criticism of the product, but I know there are a lot more features I should and could be using, but I just haven't taken the time to look at them all.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Compare all the upgrades with your current version and think about how often you'd use these upgraded features. Even though I only use a few of them, the time is saves is invaluable.

"PDF Power Tool FTW!"

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat DC is a power tool for PDF editing. It's got fantastic tools to add and edit comments, write digital signatures, and highlight and annotate PDF documents. I use Acrobat frequently with my team, and it's essential to our workflow.

What do you dislike?

Acrobat's export options are nice, but they can be a bit confusing. It's never been super clear to me what the different between the various versions is or whether I should be worried about compatibility.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you need to annotate PDFs frequently, I really suggest Acrobat over the tools built into OSX and Windows. It's got everything you need to get the job done.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use Acrobat DC for editing and annotating PDF documents. It significantly speeds up my workflow when giving feedback on designs.

"Functional and easy to use"

What do you like best?

What I like best is the ability to open multiple PDFs, in a single window. You are able to work with documents much more efficiently. Also, the fact that you can turn documents that were scanned, into editable PDFs is a HUGE benefit.

What do you dislike?

When exporting PDFs created in DC, some formatting is off (header/footer). Also, when creating a PDF from scratch, you are unable to ungroup a set of text boxes that were never grouped in the first place.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's the newest version of the most popular PDF solution, so it's definitely worth it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I constantly create, edit and maintain all company PDFs and am able to easily access them across my desktop, phone (mobile) and web. The most important benefit I have realized is the ability to create protected PDFs that may contain sensitive information.

"New Adobe DC"

What do you like best?

Updated interface is clean and easy to navigate. The UI feels refreshing and unfussy. All the trusty tools are right where you'd expect them to be. Full size "Home" welcome screen feels more in line with other Creative Cloud software.

What do you dislike?

Not too much to complain about. I had an issue with the software launching after I first upgraded it, but it resolved upon restarting my computer. The hamburger icon for the thumbnail pane on the left side of the window has been condensed to a thin bar and arrow, so that took me a minute to find. Otherwise, a strong upgrade!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use Adobe Acrobat DC for PDF management. I will combine multiple files into a single PDF, convert PDFs to reduced or compressed file sizes, and extract single pages from large documents when needed.

"Review for Adobe Acrobat DC"

What do you like best?

What I like best about using Adobe Acrobat DC is being able to modify PDF documents by changing the text, font size/color, and adding text boxes. Having the ability to add images to each document allows for the creation of several documents with similar information with different layouts. Also, all of the recent documents are listed when you open Adobe.

What do you dislike?

I do not like the lag time that occurs when editing documents to make certain changes. This will usually occur with documents larger in size. Also, errors when saving a document may occur at times when a document is being edited.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The benefits of using Adobe Acrobat DC is being able to edit PDF document flyers for every year in keeping with the same event theme by simply modifying dates, color scheme, and text.

"Purchasing the Premium version is SO worth it!"

What do you like best?

I love the main purpose of Adobe Acrobat, which is to create hard copies of documents that cannot be edited. But what I like even more are the features of the premium version. My favorites are being able to merge two documents together, editing text easily, and making forms fillable.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the fact that you have to purchase the premium version to use many of the tools. I think more of them should be free. I also dislike the limited options for editing. There's no tools like shape, pen, etc. that you would find on word.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Get the premium version. It's cheap and it really enhances the experience and saves time.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Great if you are constantly changing things in PDF"

What do you like best?

I love that I do not have to go back to the creative file every time to make slight updates. It is a very easy program to update and add pages to keep your PDF's, presentations, brochures, etc. keep up to date.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it is difficult to do everything that you could do in the creative. I dislike if I have a font and someone else that also needs to edit the PDF does not then they will not be able to keep writing in that font. It will automatically go to a generic font - even though it is already in the document.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Adobe in general is a great product and having the Acrobat DC to utilize to actually update info in the actual PDF has made my life so much easier. I constantly have to update dates in a particular PDF and I can do it in one step instead of having to take 3+ steps.

"Adobe Acrobat DC Review - Mostly Satisfied User"

What do you like best?

In addition to creating PDF's, Adobe offers many options for editing PDF's and modifying entire documents. I appreciate the flexibility and range of editing features very much as I use many of the tools within Adobe on a daily basis for work related tasks.

What do you dislike?

Regardless of installing updates, reloading the program, restarting my computer, maintaining minimal (vs, many) sessions at a time, or how large in file size of the PDF being edited, sometimes the Adobe program will crash while performing certain actions. This tends to occur in somewhat of a pattern, but not limited to such pattern-like occurrences. More times than not, one of the following three situations cause Adobe to crash: When Adobe has been open for long periods of time, when there are multiple sessions and/or several PDF files open at one time, or when Adobe PDF is in "Edit" mode & Right click the Mouse to open more options when selecting a single or multiple form fields. When this occurs, the program will be stuck in a "Not Responding" state and Adobe must be closed to clear the error and move on. Unless Saved before the Right Click or other action that causes the error, any unsaved changes will be lost.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Recommend the Pro if must use pdf edits, but if only need to open and read pdf documents, then do not need the full Pro version.

What do you like best?

I love the fact that Adobe allows you to edit & enhance PDF's. I can turn any PDF into a form, or a document that requires a signature, or I can enhance the pdf by adding Rich Media. What do you like best?

The best thing that I like about this software is its flexibility, and the smoothness with which it can be used to read and highlight a pdf.

"Graphic Design Acrobat Review"

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat allows our entire art department to seamlessly share multipage documents and artwork easily and efficiently. We also use the easy combining capabilities to pair quotes/documents with layout to forward on to clients. I feel that it is the #1 universal way of sharing content, when I send a file I don't worry about fonts or other information getting lost in the process of emailing/print. Another great feature is the ability to PRINT TO .PDF which compresses the files enough to make them a better size for emailing.

What do you dislike?

The new interface with HOME & TOOLS tabs took a while to get used to, having used the program for years the new look made it a bit confusing. However, once you learn to navigate the commands it's great to be able to see all the icons/features in one central location in a clear cut manor.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"I does alot more than Adobe Reader"

What do you like best?

The newest versions of Acrobat has a lot more Utilities that allow you to make alterations to the file with out having to open it in another program.

What do you dislike?

I really hate the list window that pops up when opening the program or when you close a pdf it appears. When You edit a pdf it automatically OCRs what it perceives as text even if I am not going to edit text. I would rather have the option to only OCR when I ask for it. I would also would like the ability to outline all the fonts so I can export or open in Illustrator to make complex edits

"Making PDFs More Manageable"

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat DC makes viewing, creating, and editing PDFs so much easier and more manageable. Everything you could want to do with a PDF, Adobe Acrobat DC makes possible. Creating and merging PDFs has never been easier, and it's just as easy to edit and remove or add pages to already existing PDFs as well.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I dislike about Adobe Acrobat DC is that sometimes finding and using the tools is not completely intuitive. It may take some time to hunt around in order to find exactly what you're looking for, but I have luckily been able to use it easily once I've located the tool I'm trying to find.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Adobe Acrobat DC is extremely versatile if you take the time to learn how to use it. It is a much more intuitive product than other Adobe products, so even beginners shouldn't have too much trouble learning how to use the tools.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Adobe Acrobat DC allows me to create and edit PDFs for distribution amongst my coworkers. Without Adobe Acrobat DC, I may have to send multiple PDFs and explain where to find certain pieces in which PDF. What do you like best?

The best thing about Adobe Acrobat DC is that it allows me to open every document AND it allows me to edit PDFs, which most other programs don't do. I never have a problem with the program. Recommendations to others considering the product

Definitely recommend!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Intuitive document reading program"

What do you like best?

What I liked the most was the ease with which the program is handled.

It is fast and intuitive. The menus are simple and the tools are easy to find.

It has the possibility to transform many types of files in PDF format, besides being able to edit them and write text in them.

On the other hand, you can create your own forms, which facilitate the writing of documentation for our clients, and for the rest of the workers.

Not only allows the editing of documents, but also the creation of files from images and other documents.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I would like to see improved on the program is text recognition. Sometimes it does not detect some words, and that prevents being able to copy and paste the content of the document.

It does not usually happen, but when it happens it's annoying.

An example of this are the equations, in educational documents.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It is an easy-to-use program that meets the necessary requirements to view, create and manage different files, converting them to PDF format.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

In my company we are constantly reading drawings of mechanical and electronic components and we need to have many plans open at the same time.

The easiest way is to convert them to a PDF format and read them with Adobe Acrobat DC.

With this program it is easy to manage so many plans at the same time, allowing us to add comments and annotations of the different workers.

As I have indicated before, when we need to write questionnaires for our clients, it is simple and quick to create them with this program.

"Tan bueno cuanto el conocido reader, pero puede editar PDFs"

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"An amazing resource even if you barely know how to make digital work"

What do you like best?

The ability to edit, compress, optimize on the fly. It makes the ability to send large PDFs via email without needing an external service much easier.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes the clipping masks can get a little weird depending what sort of program the PDF originated in, but I'd say that ultimately speaks more to the other program than this one. If initial creation is also in the Adobe suite, it's seamless.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you're spending money on Dropbox and SendBigFiles, consider that sometimes (not always) this can be cirumvented by simply properly compressing and optimizing PDFs which Acrobat lets you do.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Sending large files, letting people keep presentations at the ready on flash drives, uploading information to websites for fast download even for mobile users.

"Acrobat DC, the best tool for those trying to make forms fillable online. "

What do you like best?

The best feature, in my opinion, is the "Prepare Form" option which automatically inputs fillable fields into your document. It takes literally seconds for Acrobat DC to input dozens of fillable fields into the appropriate areas of your PDF, provided that your document is organized neatly. I also like the "Organize Pages" option which lets me take several different documents and arrange them accordingly into a single PDF.

What do you dislike?

The "Prepare Form" option is not very accurate in inputting checkboxes, or similar clickable options, into documents with numerous boxes. For example, if I have a checklist with 100 or more "Yes" or "No" options which must be clicked by the reader, Acrobat DC sometimes doesn't input the boxes correctly. Usually, this is due to the improper formatting of the form itself, so Acrobat DC is not always to blame. However, this feature could be refined for a better user experience.

Also, when a document has hundreds of checkboxes, it is quite time-consuming to rename them all. It would be nice if there were an option to proceed onto the next checkbox while renaming a specific box, instead of having to click on the next one manually with my mouse.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Don't forget to rename your checkboxes if copying/pasting a large number of boxes into another area of a PDF. Otherwise, when you select one box which has been labeled with the same as another (due to copy and pasting the exact same box), each box will be selected regardless of which one you actually click.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Allows individuals who use the document I upload online to fill in the forms instantly online a print them with their information already written. All they need to do it print, sign their name, and their good to go.

"Great upgrade from previous versions of Acrobat"

What do you like best?

I primarily use Acrobat for its PDF review and editing tools and filling out forms...really exciting stuff. With that being said, it does what it needs to do in that regard. The updated interface is clean, neat and easily navigable even for the most novice user.

What do you dislike?

No glaring issues have come up so far and this version of Acrobat seems to be working out well.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Considering the fact that it comes with most of the CC plans I would recommend that you use it for editing and reviewing PDF documents.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Adobe Acrobat DC is a great tool and has saved me a great deal of time handling PDF files. After a brief stint with a free alternative, I have noticed a major improvement in file management and quality.

"Adobe reader DC is my favorite software to read and edit pdf files"

What do you like best?

This software can be easily downloaded from its website. Its installation is done with very few steps. It allows me to create, edit and combine PDF files and documents. Its graphical interface is very intuitive and pleasant. Its function to search for words and phrases within documents is very powerful and effective, it saves a lot of time when reading books and documents. The security settings of the documents are incredible I can restrict access through passwords or generate read-only files that prevent their editing

What do you dislike?

Adobe reader DC is a very effective software for what was designed. There are very few negative things that I have been able to observe, among them is that when the pdf files are of a large size it affects the performance of my computer. Another thing is that there are options that are missing that are only in the paid version

Recommendations to others considering the product

Adobe Reader DC is the most used and reliable software for managing PDF files. It offers a series of advanced options that allow you to restrict the use of your files by using passwords. You can create read-only files that protect intellectual property

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The main benefit is that I can create protected documents that can not be modified by others taking advantage of my intellectual creations. Another aspect is to be able to read numerous books and articles that are on the Internet that are in PDF format. The option to combine different independent pdf files is excellent.

" The best way to read, print, even annotate PDF files easily and quickly"

What do you like best?

In addition to the basic functionality expected (read PDF files) that makes it very efficient, the ability to fill out forms in PDF format, including signing documents and the possibility of "approval stamps", I consider the most outstanding and used characteristics

What do you dislike?

In my opinion, this new version brings many benefits that practically makes forget any unpleasant details in terms of interface and usability

Recommendations to others considering the product

The first option to consider for handling and managing PDF files must be Adobe. You will be surprised by the range of options, functionalities and uses that this tool contains: view, print, annotate, sign, stamp and mobile operation. Nothing more is required

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Given the growing demand in the use of PDF files, having Adobe allows us to have the security of working with the world market leader that guarantees functionalities adapted to the demands of the market. The global trends on the use of pdf files, adobe imposes them and therefore the organization feels safe of its use

"Adobe Acrobat DC is a powerful PDF manager with great editing tools!"

What do you like best?

Adobe Acrobat lets me create locked PDF files that end users can use to tally responses and survey questions. It's ideal in allowing me to export and edit from InDesign.

What do you dislike?

Some of the editing tools are a little clunky. The tools I'm referring to are advanced, ad I understand that Adobe Acrobat isn't a layout program, but for those advanced users I think it'd be really handy if the tools looked and functioned similarly to the ones in InDesign and other Creative Cloud applications.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The editing and distribution tools in Adobe Acrobat could use some refining to be more similar to some of the tools in other Creative Cloud applications so that they all feel familiar.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I mostly use Adobe Acrobat DC to edit and distribute forms to end users. These forms are editable by me but become locked when I send. They are used throughout many of our clients and the design is customized in Adobe InDesign.

"Safe and simple software for your documents and work material."

What do you like best?

There are many important topics that as a company we consider to be favorable and productive of this Software. It has tools such as Adobe Sign that accelerates and simplifies in a short time a business activity that previously consumed a lot of valuable time; It increases the productivity of the company considerably because you can work from anywhere and you have Document Cloud tools that facilitate the work. Another positive factor is that the desktop application is available and also the mobile application which makes the use of this platform more dynamic and extensive. Other important factors for us that we can highlight is that it greatly improves the experience of our clients and the performance of our business negotiations.

What do you dislike?

This is a Software that has various tools that complement and simplify part of the work carried out by the company, however, it can always be renewed to keep up with the emerging needs and the current market. The work within a company is in constant movement because it has to keep up with the demands of the market and this is why it is necessary to have Softwares that adapt and match our needs. Regarding its improvements as Software, I consider that it should continue to include tools that speed up more and more certain procedures for companies and that adapt to new needs. It would also be quite productive to maintain special rates at a lower cost for emerging companies that are not yet positioned in the market and that consequently have low incomes.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Adobe Acrobat Document Cloud has been a very convenient platform for our company. From the moment we started to implement it, it was molded in a way that was very favorable to our needs. For us its use has been very safe, reliable and simple with our documents and work material, in addition to streamlining many factors of our work routine.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It has given us progress in terms of liaising with our customers, has greatly simplified some procedures and requests that were previously more complicated and that required more time. In general, it has allowed us to streamline important factors of our work, as well as to expand the application of commercial strategies. Added to this gives us the great advantage of reducing the chances of errors and presents an automated way of working that is very convenient for our needs.

"A best PDF reader software till now."

What do you like best?

This software is the best among all the software that i had came across for viewing the PDF.Also this software is used to convert PDF file into word file, excel file ore vise versa very efficiently. The main highlight of this software is its user interface,it is just awesome to work with. Also there one more advantage that there is no need to sign in into the software to use it.However the sign in is necessary if you want to access all of its premium features. Also this software is easily available on its official site. Also this software has a very good quality support. As is an updated version of adobe reader it is definitely better than it in all aspect.According to my experience it has very smooth access to view the PDF file efficiently. Also the main highlight to use this software is that it is an product of Adobe that means it will be definitely awesome. There are no major bugs in it and is best for everyone.Almost in every company and business firms the employees had started to use this updated version for their daily work loads due to its advanced features and user experience. Also when it comes to my choice i would definitely suggest the other users to give it a try.

What do you dislike?

As i mentioned about the software i had not found any major dislike but i would recommend that it would be better if the would have the policy of giving updates for improvement in system performance time to time.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would say there is no better option for PDF readers or managers than Acrobat reader DC.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Almost all the documents are stored in the form of PDF and that are easily accessed by this software. As it behaves as an PDF manager also.

"Tools that matter"

What do you like best?

Creating PDF files from scratch by merging jpg, png, doc or many other formats available make this an outstanding tool for designers or whomever is in contact with handling PDF files. Since there are also many tools for edit that specific pdf, this would also help you get the result you want.

What do you dislike?

Unlike other pdf readers, this takes a bit more time to load and to process each change you produce unto de document, although that depends on your computer's RAM and processor. Also its a lot more heavy on memory space and requires many of your temporal memory for accomplishing each process.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I have almost talk all about merging without even mentioning other tools such as convert to .doc and or other readable formats. This not only work for PDF to Word but also from Word to PDF, which is a HUGE relieve. I remember googling for online tools, but you never know if your data is secure, this way you KNOW it is, and you can control also the quality and weight of the file.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

To make a Identity manual, or a e-magazine. Having again, the tool for merging images is a key feature on this software since you can only drag and drop on the corresponding wizard, or select it manually, then order the files by first to last, and print/save or export and your done.

"Works well, easy to manage a team of users though feels expensive for what you get"

What do you like best?

It just works well and is easy for users to install and self-manage their accounts. Its easy for me to add/remove users and re-assign licenses as required. We use this in conjunction with Adobe Sign, which also works well.

What do you dislike?

It feels expensive for primarily being able to edit the occasional pdf and print to pdf, which with Chrome is a bit redundant. I also dislike the ordering process, which is fortunately only once per year. You can't do every
