"A great program to grow customer engagement & increase retention"

What do you like best?

The integration that Annex Cloud has gone through with our own internal IT department has been very thorough and has made our lives much easier than they could have been! We have a lot of customer data that needed to be integrated into our new Loyalty Program and Annex Cloud’s team did this quite seamlessly.

What do you dislike?

At first, we had some bumps in the road with the implementation of our Refer a Friend program, but those bumps have since been smoothed over and the plan has since been working very well!

Recommendations to others considering the product

Keep communication open with your customer success manager and implement Asana to assist in Annex Cloud related project management for your team internally and Annex Cloud.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Annex Cloud’s Loyalty Program has made it so we encourage our customers to make repeat purchases by accumulating points they can redeem towards gift cards for product, and has created a lot more brand engagement socially since our customers are rewarded for their engagement.

"A "Can Do" Partner for Our Business"

What do you like best?

Annex Cloud's "can do" attitude has been key to developing our custom image gallery. They've proven to be very flexible and willing to take on projects outside of their core competencies. They are also extremely responsive - turning around requests for data uploads and custom reporting with little notice - and answering emails during off hours or weekends. This is much appreciated, as our urgent projects, bug fixes or requests from upper management are given priority whenever possible. It's clear that they care about the success of our business and our satisfaction as a client.

What do you dislike?

Their solutions often lack polish, though once we point out specific issues, they have been willing to address when the solution is within the technical competencies of their dev team (which isn't always the case). This also results in a significant amount of back and forth, which is exacerbated by the availability of their off-shore developers. While custom projects are possible (the services we use are very customized), staying within their core solutions would probably yield higher satisfaction. That said, we'd like to see more technical improvements made in these core solutions beyond our custom requirements.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

User Gallery - thousands of images submitted with full commenting, badging, login system, etc.

Rewards Program - tied to user purchases and on-site actions (like gallery submissions). Helpful for increasing engagement and customer loyalty.

Social Login - makes it easy for customers to purchase from our site without an account.

"Best customer service of all time"

What do you like best?

Jocelyn has been the most responsive and supportive rep that we have ever had the pleasure to work with. We truly consider her an extension of our own team. She helps us maintain our loyalty program as well as our user submitted reviews for our 6 major sites flawlessly and effortlessly. She makes our lives her much easier on a daily basis and couldn't imagine not having her helping to manage our at times daunting loyalty demands. She is truly one of the best people to work with.

What do you dislike?

Not being able to work more closely with the team annex cloud team. Having actually face time and working hand ing hand is really the only thing that I could really ask for from the amazing annex cloud team and Jocelyn. With a little actually face time I feel like we could accomplish even more.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Having Annex Cloud and Jocelyn handle our reviews has taken a huge burden off our end to focus more on what we do best in-house, which is convert sales on our 6 major sporting goods ecommerce stores and giving the customer the best possible online shopping experience.

"Elevate Your Marketing With Annex Cloud"

What do you like best?

Even if all things were equal from a feature and functionality standpoint between Annex Cloud and other loyalty companies (which they're not, but hypothetically speaking), I think what separates them from other providers is the service you receive from actual human beings. From a support perspective and a development perspective, they really go the extra mile to help you succeed and bring ideas to fruition.

What do you dislike?

The folks at Annex Cloud are reasonable and easy to work with. They go the extra mile to earn and keep your business. I know if/I call or email I'm going to speak with someone who knows and cares about our business, our program, and is in-tune with how to keep our customers engaged and coming back for more.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Annex Cloud is the hub for our customer loyalty program, referral marketing program, and they also serve a lot of the user generated content we collect, like product reviews (where customers can upload photos and video) and questions & answers—where our staff and the community can answer questions to help other users. We have been running their programs for a little over a year now and, without getting too specific, I would say the results have been game-changing.

"still in implementation phase but so far, so good"

What do you like best?

We vetted several competitors that did either loyalty or referral programs, but Annex Cloud was unique in that it allows us to do both - obviously it was more convenient and cost-effective to only need to do one integration rather than two. Our loyalty integration is more complex than most, but Annex Cloud was great about working through our challenges. Since the documentation was provided to our developers, they've had a couple of questions, and Annex Cloud has been very responsive; it appears that the integration will take less time to complete than I expected. Overall, I've appreciated Annex Cloud's flexibility and enjoyed working with our customer success contact.

What do you dislike?

Nothing so far, given that the design phase went smoothly and so far our integration seems to be progressing well.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Do your research, but for us, Annex Cloud was clearly the best choice in terms of functionality, price and ease of implementation.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Primarily, we want to leverage the loyalty program to deepen our relationships with our B2B customers and encourage repeat purchases. The referral program is really only relevant for our B2C customers, and while it's a nice thing to offer, I don't imagine it will move the needle significantly for our business. But it's one more way for us to reach new customers, and every little bit helps.

"Great way to feature UGC "

What do you like best?

I like how easy it is to approve/decline content and have it show up on my website feed

What do you dislike?

lots of hand-holding and checking to see if things have been fixed

Recommendations to others considering the product

I'd like a higher level of customer support. I feel like when I had a question or suggestion I was patronized. I wanted hashtag and tagged content to be in my feed and it was a constant battle. I wanted all content to be tagged properly and consistently - it was a battle. I didn't want images from stores to be tagged, still a battle. I would request permissions from users and it wouldn't show up in the proper filters when I wanted to see all of the images I had requested. Approved images wouldn't show up in the proper filter. All in all I feel like the product needs work and needs to be more user-friendly. I also feel like I was not made aware of all the other features Social Annex has to offer. In addition there are always many many people on my emails and I'm never sure who does what and who i'm supposed to be in contact with about what.

We are solving a problem of making sure all of the the UGC we want to use has gotten all the proper permissions from the user and I can always go back and see the arsenal of images we have approvals on to use how ever I choose.

"Very Satisfied with the Platform"

What do you like best?

The number of features available with our current configuration provide us the ability to fully manage a loyalty marketing solution as well as manage other aspects of our ecommerce business.

What do you dislike?

There are some changes that need to be made that affect all platform users. Unfortunately not everything can be released immediately but the customer success team does a great job of providing updates on progress.

Review the offering and identify if the solution meets your business requirements. Our team found Annex Cloud to offer what we were looking for.

Relieving customer service call backlogs with Question & Answer system on our product detail pages. Providing an enhanced experience for the Refer a Friend program. Offering additional products available for redemption based off customer loyalty.

What do you like best?

Jake, our Account Manager is always available to us as needs/issues arise.

What do you dislike?

Our team has a hard time with the usability of the back-end system. We find it to be very confusing, and not intuitive.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Spend time reviewing the platform with your account manager to become as familiar with the product as possible before hopping in on a day to day basis.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

UGC, Q&A, and ratings and reviews have been great wins for us with annex cloud.

"Great Partner!"

What do you like best?

The Annex Cloud team is great to work with. They are extremely helpful in providing best practices in the industry, as well as making changes to the platform based on recommendations.

What do you dislike?

The Iframe integration is sometimes difficult to deal with as we need to rely on the AC development team to make changes to. However, there is the option to move away from the iframe integration to a different approach so we do not have this issue any longer.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

AC is allowing for us to gather a lot more information around our customer. It also helps us to drive interest to our site (compared to wholesale sites) and keep the repeat purchase rate up.

"Setting up a RAF Program"

What do you like best?

I liked best that Annex Cloud was willing to hop on a call, email us back right away to help us with the process of setting up a RAF program. They were pleasant to work with and very adaptable to the changes we had come up on our end.

What do you dislike?

If I could change one thing I think it would be the unexpected changes in the technical side of things. It was difficult for us to fully understand what needed to be done and at times we received conflicting direction.

"Speed to Market"

What do you like best?

Social Annex offers a lot of tools and solutions that are constantly improving.They seem to work faster than most others we have worked with.

What do you dislike?

Many of the solutions are very templated creating limitations in design. But at the same time, it is formualic enough to move quickly.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Yes, I think this product is great. It's easy to use, quick to imlement, and their dedication to your success has surpassed our expectations.

"Great partner willing to go the extra mile!"

What do you like best?

Annex Cloud offers a great out-of-the-box solution but really impressed us with their capability and willingness to customize to suit our needs as well as their guidance on integrating with other marketing systems to really make our loyalty program thrive.

What do you dislike?

some limitations initially given early version of the product but, with their help, we were able to create workarounds until new features became available.

Retention goals and repurchase were our primary goal. We have definitely seen that improve significantly with the aid of their loyalty solution.

"UCG Gallery and Refer a Friend"

What do you like best?

The client relations communication was pretty seamless. Our contact always provided answers to our questions in a timely matter. They also worked with our third party vendor directly which made the process very easy on our end.

What do you dislike?

nothing at the moment. I haven't had enough time to evaluate the full program.

This is still all new and being launched so we don't have any ROI to share.

"Robust tools, team is easy to work with"

What do you like best?

With Annex Cloud we gained a lot of functionality that we previously didn't have for marketing our ecom business and developing relationships with and opportunities for our customers.

What do you dislike?

ADA compliance requires customization beyond out of the box.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

User-generated content in product reviews. Finally realizing the loyalty program goals we'd set forth long ago (without having to reinvent the wheel). Brought our referral program into this decade.

"Excellent business partner for custom application"

What do you like best?

The project team listened to our requirements, provided timely updates, offered advise and responded quickly when issues arose during development.

What do you dislike?

It took a bit longer to fix a few minor bugs our QA team found late in the project but timing was still good.

"Great service"

What do you like best?

Terrific customer service. They've been very responsive to questions and requests. We've been able to manage their program fairly easily.

What do you dislike?

None really. They've been good. No complaints. Sure, there more features we'd like to see, but that list could be endless.

What do you like best?

Annex Cloud was able to deliver in a very reduced time frame and with a sometimes moving-target on requirements based upon reduced timeframe.

"Social Annex"

What do you like best?

The account managers are very friendly and responses to emails are prompt. They are enthuastic about the work that they produce

The platform isnt that easy to use in the backend

We have found that if a customer doesnt re-purchase whithin the first 6months they will probably never purchase again. Loyalty should help engage our customers and push them to 2nd purchase

What do you like best?

I like the gallery page for users/web visitors to get to via the linked hashtag at the bottom of the social annex scroll of our site. The customer service team (Jacob) has been great to work with- all questions are answered and updates are made to the site accordingly.

What do you like best?
