"Asigra proven protection"

What do you like best?

Asigra is a time tested proven solution that has saved our systems numerous times. The system is easy to use and effective even over slow or higher latency connections.

What do you dislike?

The user interface could be more intuitive and a lot faster when loading and setting up operations. They are working to improve the experience in newer versions of the UI.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Select a partner with a lot of knowledge on the product to implement and manage the day to day operations and you'll sleep better every night knowing the backups work.

"Asigra Backup"

What do you like best?

This is the best backup solution I have used. Very easy to setup and very user friendly. I have administered other backup solutions like comvault, and symantec. This is by far the easiest and best solution for a Managed service provider. The ability to not have an agent on every server that needs to be backed up is great. No extra overhead on the servers. The tech support is outstanding as well.

What do you dislike?

I think the event log needs some work. The error's that show up in the log sometimes don't make a lot of sense. It takes a while to determine what the actual failure is.

The backups don't work well over small network pipes. We have many customers that we support that don't have a high bandwidth circuit so the backups could run for days for a large amount of data. And then after running for so long, the end up failing anyway.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Over the years we have upgraded our system a few times and need to keep our customers data while moving into new hardware, Asigra does this and does it well. We are currently upgrading hardware and looking at new major version soon and this overall due to the last few years of upgrades going so well this is not a "scary" process.

"Comprehensive protection for endpoints, virtual and physical servers, and cloud apps"

What do you like best?

Provides a single data protection interface for physical servers, virtual machines, endpoint devices, and cloud applications. Customers have granular control over all aspects of backup sets, including retention, filtering, and scheduling.

What do you dislike?

The interface is outdated, which throws off first time users. Once they get past the initial look, however, the functionality is there. Once the GUI refresh is completed the initial introduction to the software will be easier. Reporting is also difficult, as there's not a lot of built in reporting capability. You do have access to lots of data that can be fed into reporting tools, however. The GUI refresh and additional reporting would earn it that last star.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Asigra fills a critical gap in business continuity and disaster recovery planning, preventing costly downtime through robust backup configuration options including onsite appliances for rapid restore and virtual disaster recovery for VMs.

"Product is clunky and bloated, support is almost non existant."

What do you like best?

They allow MSP to backup customer data and the price is cheaper than some competitors.

What do you dislike?

We offer this as a MSP solution, however we have to have 6 servers in house and one has to be physical the license server. Then we also have to have a server at each customer address and then the agent on each system being backed up. The systems at our site are mostly all Linux, and the interfaces are not user friendly. Finally, their support is not good at all. If you do not pay an extra 1400 dollars for one time remote access incident support or 400 for a phone call then you are stuck with logging into the web portal and jumping through 100 hoops to create a case only to have to wait up to 24 hours to get a vague email response. Also I cant even find their knowledge base, and downloads are also not available from their site. This is the worst support experience I have had in 22 years in the business.

I personally would not recommend this solution and we are looking for alternatives. however this solution is a lot less expensive than the larger solutions by companies like HP but you get what you pay for.

"You can't get away from simplicity and common sense"

What do you like best?

This is easy, one solution / window to control all of your backup & recovery requirements. Not only that I am resting comfortably now knowing that I have added significant value to my business as well as others to lower risk and improve security and compliance concerns.

Our business has now migrated to Microsoft Office 365 and we have taken advantage of Asigra's ability to ensure our data is recoverable should the need arise.

With the risks associated with the number of mobile phones & tablets now in our business it is nice to know the software also supports the backup up of these devices and enables remote wiping if necessary.

Lastly I should mention cost. We were looking for an Op Ex solution that scales with our business. Asigra not only offers this but also helps keep our costs down by scaling our recovery costs based on what we actually recover. So for the last 6 months my recovery costs have been £0.00.

What do you dislike?

There is honestly not too much to say on this topic. As a business we are more than happy with the move to Asigra's Backup & Recovery Solution .

Don't be put off by the Enterprise badge, this product is scalable form a one man builder with a laptop to a multi national with several data centres.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This has all been about removing my anxiety around the growing amount of Data our business is producing and the risk s associated with maintaining the availability. I can now go on holiday knowing that if I get a call telling me we have a system problem I will not have to break out in a sweat and start hunting for flights home and of course announcing the news to my wife.

"Complete cloud backup solution"

What do you like best?

The software has exceptional logging and fine-grained detail into what's happening at any given moment. IP addresses, software version numbers, machine hostnames, dates, times and pretty much any other detail you can think of is logged in the software. This greatly assists in troubleshooting efforts across the board.

What do you dislike?

The ds-client service sometimes randomly stops on customer's servers. We have used task scheduler as a workaround to restart this service a few minutes prior to backup jobs, but we would still like to find out why the service randomly dies. Nothing informative is in the system event logs.

Recommendations to others considering the product

You won't be disappointed! Pay close attention during training, read over the booklets, and do your best to educate your co-workers on the software. The tools you need to back up just about anything are right there in front of you! We are using roughly 15% of the features available in the software and have created a full-fledged service for our customers. The backup software has brought peace of mind to many of our customers. There is still a lot for us to learn, but we can tell the product is headed in the right direction. Updates are very frequent, we receive e-mails every few days about new patches being released.

Many clients are looking for a one-stop shop for backup and disaster recovery solutions. Asigra has provided that. It has allowed us to branch out into multiple services other than just plain old backup.

What do you like best?

excellent as it is a software platform recovery backup enterprise level and produced and marketed by Asigra Inc. is an agnostic solution of hardware and software that enables support of a wide variety of devices , operating platforms , enterprise applications and hypervisors. The software is not Asigra agent and does not require a software agent to be installed on each of the machines or platforms must be supported

"A Much Better Alternative"

What do you like best?

To be honest, there were some features that we liked. However, the performance of the product and high overhead of a single threaded solution were intolerable.

What do you dislike?

The false statements regarding feature set items that have not worked for many generations/releases of the product. A simple fabrication of truth.

Recommendations to others considering the product

DO NOT consider it. Take a look at Veeam Cloud Connect for Service Providers. Superior in every possible way. Approximately 1/8th the cost. Far superior support and the product does what the documentation states.

Use of the Asigra solution resulted in failure of our business. We were a user of this platform for 12 years beginning in 2006.

"Asigra Backup and Automation"

What do you like best?

Asigra offers the ability to use templates via XML. Along with templates you are also granted access into the API for the product. These 2 items together allow for the ability to completely automate your backup set creation and management of the product. If you do have an issues with the Asigra product, the Asigra support staff does help a lot and if the issue is a bug within there system they will release a hotfix within a week.

What do you dislike?

Management of the company is poor at best. They do not care about the clients unless they are huge. We have been bounced between accounts managers at least 4 times in the last 2 years. Ability to resolve account issue is poor, most times you do not get an acceptable response.

Asigra's user interface is a bit dated. It would do with a face lift. Some of the features are becoming stale or irrelevant in today's market. Currently Asigra releases new product updates every year, but more recently it is taking longer than a year to get new features. When dealing with support and you are not top level certified you must pay a triage fee, we have never had to do this since we are top level certified but that is something to be aware of.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Beware of management short comings. Training is poor and only a certification test is offered. No formal training for their advanced certifications.

The licensing of the new Recovery License Model (RLM) is a good starting point. But once you grow past that starting point within 4 years the cost of Capacity License Model (CLM) turns out to be cheaper in the long run.

We are able to resolve the issue with backup set coverage by utilizing the ability for backup set creation automation.

"Asigra: Almost Top Notch Backup Solution"

What do you like best?

The file level backup restore process in version 11 was flawless. I was able to restore files to customers at any time from my desk.

Support staff very knowledgeable. Good to have engineers available to assist.

Level 1 training very useful. Staff at their office were very nice. Felt like I was apart of their family while there.

Simple offsite file restores are quick and easy.

Setting up customer backups are very easy. Initial seed process quite easy.

What do you dislike?

Version 11 did not have the ability to take snapshots they said it would be available in their later version.

Trying to restore email from full exchange store backup was very difficult. We were not successful in find email.

Have to purchase support credits. I ran out of these quickly and would rather have paid for a full year of support. I did not like it when I was out of credits and had to get more before I could get assistance.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Request a trial and/or an onsite demo of the product. We did a demo online and I think if we requested one onsite we could have ironed out a lot of our small issues in the beginning.

In Manged Services, you can quickly see ROI. Companies are becoming required to have offsite backups and they are understand this is not cheap. However, I think the MSP needs to have the correct infrastructure as they are now holding data. Asigra has ability to replicate data to another facility.

"ACE certified administrator review : Best cloud backup solutions I have used"

What do you like best?

I love that the solution is VERY salable and robust. We are a MSP and there is very few products that offer the security needs we require and also the speed. For DR tests, backing up and restoring data Asigra does it all and does it well. Their tech support is great and knowledgeable. When we have had emergency issues over the years I have always gotten prompt excellent support, whether it is account team or tech support. They also have a features add forum where the developers put more time towards the requested items to make the product better.

What do you dislike?

Some of the reporting on storage trend growth or custom reports can be not user friendly. The install process and setting up backups can be a bit overwhelming for a new administrator but with proper escalation of trained support this is easily overcome.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is one of the best solutions on the market, I have supported comvault and symantec over last decade at a architect level and this is far more salable and better to support.

the agentless backup and recovery solution protects many various platforms and services, which means less complication, less installation, configuration and management of individual servers. also, features such as autonomic healing and validation restore ensures data recovered is consistent and accurate, and that data can be successfully recovered. Asigra is very well suited for a mixed environment... physical, virtual servers; endpoint devices; mixed platforms/OS, Windows, Linux, Unix, AIX, MacX server, iphones/ipads, etc...

- Asigra's Agentless Backup and Recovery solution protects many various platforms and services... servers, virtual machines, endpoint devices, DB's/Apps, Salesforce.com data, etc... no more multiple point solutions to manage. Agentless means less complication, less installation, configuration and management of individual servers. Asigra is used across our whole organization. We have Asigra installed in 5 Data Centers, some DC's are used as Replication to Primary Vaults in others. Asigra solves the business needs of data protection and data retention, with the added benefit of simple server/system recovery (DR). Since Asigra is Agentless, there is an easy process for updates, upgrades and, we don't worry about security "holes" in our systems.

"Asigra as a partner for growth."

What do you like best?

Asigra has one of the best channel partner programs I have experienced. They provide seemingly endless resources to support your sales and marketing effort and also a pricing an product approach which creates a strong commercial proposition as a service provider which creates long term business value.

The turnkey marketing campaigns and the support with generation and distribution of PR that supports and promotes your own business demonstrates Asigra's mutual commitment to your own investment in their product and relationship. I am a particular fan of how Asigra's social media integration is so intuitive as a partner, but is not simply designed to promote the Asigra Brand. It is also there to connect you to the right people in the Asigra community but also give credit to you for your own experiences and successes.

What do you dislike?

There is very little to dislike about the relationship one experiences with Asigra as one of their channel partners. I suppose a partner conference somewhere in Europe would be a convenience, but then again the trip to Toronto each year enables us to access more of Asigra's team and technology.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The Asigra service and relationship have made it possible to develop a manages services cloud business without massive cost of entry and with a model that supports good performance and technical efficiency both as a reseller and within our customer base. The disruptive Recovery licensing model is a particular benefit here which enable us to be even more competitive in the marketplace and drives additional long term value as contracts extend and the business volume scales

"True End to End Backup"

What do you like best?

Unlike other backup software that focuses on one specific item such as vmware enviroments or Windows environments, Asigra offers a true end to end solution. Asigra supports all major operting systems and applications from mobile (IOS/Android), laptops, desktops all the way through to high end Oracle environments it will even backup your SaaS applications!

What do you dislike?

The complexity of Asigra can be daunting to new users but by finding an experienced Asigra partner this can easily be overcome. Other then that it really is hard to find much to dislike!

"Asigra v13 Product Review"

What do you like best?

Asigra has a couple of unique features/capabilities that I like best. The first feature is that the Asigra solution is agentless. Asigra is one of the very few and only backup technology that I've worked with that doesn't require the user to download a software agent onto the target device, install the agent, then reboot the device before beginning the backup process. The second interesting feature is the ability to backup data both locally to an appliance (NAS like) and also transfer information off-site to predefined data centers. Most backup technologies can do one or the other but not both BDR. The last key point is that it's really hard to find a device (server, desktop, or mobile phone/tablet) that Asigra can't backup up. With Asigra you can pretty much backup everything you have using the same platform and management software.

What do you dislike?

Depending on which region of the world you reside in and the level (capability) of your technical staff limited product localization could be an issue. The Asigra product is very in-depth and allows you do to a lot of different things but all this flexibility can get lost if you don't have a strong understanding of English, German or Chinese.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Asigra only sells to service providers so if you're looking to purchase a software package this may not be the solution for you. However, you have the option of becoming a service provider or purchasing services from one of Asigra's current service providers.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Asigra solves data backup and recovery problems. Tape backup solutions are typically what is replaced with advanced off-site backup and recovery solutions from Asigra. Compared to tape you will see decreased RPO & RTO benefits plus you will can the ability to run recovery tests whenever you want with little or no overhead unlike tape backup. The decreased data recovery times are very good for companies that require regular audits or want to be fully DR/BCP ready.

"Complete Backup for virtual private datacenter"

What do you like best?

We start to work with a virtual private datacenter from few month, all the server will be saved with Asigira without any problem and a really good performance

At this moment I didn't see nothing to dislike

"Finally a modern backup solution!"

What do you like best?

'Basic to advanced' backup and restore solution for enterprise and SMB. DR operations for applications, VMs, servers, desktops/laptops, and smart-devices. Works in practically any situation, easy to use, has saved the day many MANY times!

What do you dislike?

The product has been developed with high security in mind, meaning that at times it is not 'as' flexible as competitors. However, that is an expected by-product of a platform that can also be used for banks, hospitals, public institutions, etc.

A simple interface with powerful capabilities. Backup and restore operations for practically every platform, installation, and recovery (RPO/RTO) requirement.

Onsite and remote business continuity DR, outsourced backup and restore operations for all verticals, single pane of glass for review and management of all operations. We have realized simple, centralized, excellent backup and restore service to provide to our clients.

"Capable, Comprehensive, and Innovative"

What do you like best?

Management of solution. The centralized controls of the DS-System (heart of the solution) plus its agentless backups means fewer moving parts that can all be controlled with just a few steps.

What do you dislike?

Being so broad-based — support for many platforms, application specific backups, replication, etc. — it is complex and expensive.

We learned a lot over the years about how to architect a back-end solution that supports hundreds of customers with thousands of servers. If you starting out, seek a consultant on best practices for design and implementation.

"Asigra Cloud Backup"

What do you like best?

The best thing about Asigra is the breath of the functionality. On too many projects I've had to assemble parts from multiple vendors. Asigra Cloud Backup covers the entire enterprise, from datacenter to mobile devices and everything in between.

What do you dislike?

It's not a cheap solution, and it requires a significant investment in training to fully exploit it.

Engage with a consultant that has significant expertise on the platform during your evaluation. A lot of the functionality isn't obvious to a novice

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The major benefit from a managed service provider standpoint is the ability to provide truly secure multi-tenanted backup as a service. It is the only product we've used that can deliver the security and confidentiality demanded by clients in the legal, financial and healthcare sectors.

"Asigra software provides security and is scalable and reliable..."

What do you like best?

Dataedge has been utilizing Asigra since 2006. We selected Asigra for it's Data Security and Data Integrity among other reasons. We have a MSP implementation and also several Private Cloud implementations we support for our larger enterprise clients. Asigra has proven to be very scalable and reliable.

What do you dislike?

Asigra is not a recognized name in the enterprise space, this often makes the sale process longer than it needs to be. Asigra is not a backup solution for all companies, some companies don't desire or require the high-end enterprise backup and recovery features. But if your company wants reliable restores and little administration overhead Asigra is an excellent choice!

"Asigra opens the "backup" door for companies moving to cloud technologies"

What do you like best?

I have been intimate with the Asigra product offerings and have deployed to 30 sites ranging from SMB's to large enterprises. The Asigra software is extremely scalable and able to back up 99% of a companies infrastructure. As IT continues to shift to more cloud workloads with Asigra the IT industry has a utility to suit those needs moving companies away from the older and expensive tape backup solutions.

What do you dislike?

The interface is very basic and can be very difficult when trying to multi-task when using it adding time to management operations.

I have been intimate with the Asigra product offerings and have deployed to 30 sites ranging from SMB's to large enterprises. Moving companies away from traditional tape backup and/or disk solutions that are on-site and require daily maintenance. With Asigra, companies are provided with an agentless backup soultion that sends data offsite eliminating the additional tasks of having an off-site provider and reducing time & materials an administrator has to spend switching tapes/disks out and managing a backups.

"My experience managing clients with Asigra"

What do you like best?

I have been maintiaing client backups using Asigra for over 2 years. From the start their tech support team is top notch! The product itself has come a very long way in ease of use, deployment and maintenance as well. Overall it is a solid backup solution.

What do you dislike?

The backup reports could use some additional features. The backend maintenance that needs to be performed can be an issue on larger backup sets. From daily/weekly admins, Autonomic healing, master/delta rebuilds, etc. However this is not as much of a problem since they have gone from version 9 to version 12.x in our tenure.

Recommendations to others considering the product

We dont use all the backup solutions they offer, such as moble, BMR, invoicing, etc. We primarly use the standard backup solution for our clients and it works very well overall.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The biggest compliment i get from clients is how fast I can recover data, specifically flat files. Asigra is solid when it comes to file recovery in general.

What do you like best?

Some of the things I like best about Asigra are the agentless architecture, multi-platform capability and enterprise ready features. All of my clients enjoy not having to manually update servers and like the fact that we can handle any type and size of environment.

What do you dislike?

I think the place in which Asigra needs to be improved is the user interface and demo ability. I know that there are plans to do this in the next version. Backup is not sexy at all. If there was a way we could potentially improve upon the demo interface I think Asigra would appeal to more people. Although users aren't necessarily using the software, they like it to look new and fresh.

Many people I speak with are exerting unnecessary time in monitoring backups and worrying about DR. Asigra has enabled me to help these folks focus on more pressing IT issues at their work.

"ACE Certified Admin Review: A full cloud backup solution"

What do you like best?

Built from the ground up for MSP's Asigra's Multi tenant, agentless backup never ceases to amaze me with it's capabilities to backup everything from Enterprise servers down to Desktops and even cellular phones and it's almost limitless functionality. Asigra has steadily imporved the functionality/code of their product over the years. Where other backup companies buy functionality, Asigra develops it. Coming with a new GUI in 2015 put's Asigra in a class by itself because whether it's the CEO that deleted that all important email or that server crashes "Recovery is Everything."

What do you dislike?

I feel like reporting, specifically historical reporting could be more robust. In addition I also feel like there is a dance with support where you have to confirm details already put in the ticket before you can get on a call for quick resolution items.

Buy it, learn it, implement it and then set it on cruise control.

Protecting customers from data loss can sometimes not come with the importance that it should. When disaster strikes knowing the data is there allows 1 to shine in their duties.

"Agentless is Priceless!"

What do you like best?

Asigra's agentless design is a best in class backup solution. When your server count is well above double digits, the countless hours spent updating agents on a quarterly or semiannual basis is frustrating.

What do you dislike?

Asigra needs to come out with a more robust replication solution which enhances the RTOs and RPOs for all types of servers. There are other agent based solutions that can achieve this. I would like to see Asigra improve in this area.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Agentless is a difference maker for Asigra. Administrators have to schedule maintenance windows just for operating systems updates, plus managing the applications on the servers... the ability to not have to schedule downtime for backup software can not be lost on any potential customers.

Recovery is everything. The reliable of Asigra backups is at the top of the list. The confidence that we have in Asigra's backups being successful is a wonderful feeling. The ability to accomplish backups on so many different operating systems while only using one solution is significant. One management console, one company to call for support, Agentless = A+ solution.

"Asigra a Complete Backup Solution"

What do you like best?

The Best thing about this product is its Agentless architecture, there would be minimum resource utilization on end points/hosts.

AES-256 encryption makes this the most secure Backup application.

De-Duplication makes possible for always incremental Backup. Every time you recover data of any date, ensured 100% recovery.

compression makes backup possible even on low bandwidth.

What do you dislike?

As such I don't see any point for disliking this product but one area where I am hoping improvement is reporting. reporting should be more attractive.

When you are buying this product you need not to vary about the host based/Application based Licensing. The licensing is based upon storage capacity after de-duplication and compression of data.

"Asigra Cloud Backup Restore and Recovery"

What do you like best?

Asigra has the broadest footprint in the industry. My clients don't have to worry if they have servers, laptops, tablets or smartphones as Asigra will protect all of their data across all platforms. I also have clients that use Salesforce backup and they love it. Looking forward to offering Office 365. Cloud to Cloud backup will be more important going forward.

Clients also like the incremental, block level backup since it doesn't strain the network and ensures that recent data is secure.

What do you dislike?

With the number of options available to Asigra customers, complexity increases. It is important to team with a knowledgeable partner with many years of experience (like AssureVault) to make the implementation and on going support easy and successful.

"Asigra backup"

What do you like best?

A cloud backup system that is agent-less. You just simply need to install an interface (DS-User) to interact w/your backup jobs.

Block level backup. You only backup files changes as opposed to sending the whole file, saving bandwidth.

Ease of use. I find the interface is relatively simple to use and get used to. If you have never used backup software, I feel the program caters to all user levels.

What do you dislike?

The event log errors that are returned by some failure a job has. Some are cryptic.

When restoring file types, I'd like to see the ability to restore multiple extensions, as opposed to 1.

I would like to see more community involvement. There are not many online resources for support other than Asigra's helpdesk and a random unofficial forum.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I never used Asigra until I started working at my current company. I would recommend Asigra as I believe the basic features are easy to adapt to. As I learned more, the way files are stored on our server, saves us storage cost and is an incredibly smart way of file storage/backup.

We are solving the need of storing confidental files for our customers so they don't have to worry in the instance of DR or file corruption.

"SMB customers with Enterprise backup challenges"

What do you like best?

All encompassing: from smartphones to data centres and everything in between and out into the cloud space and back again. You pay for what you recovery and all under one management window... Oh and it's agentless, secure, reliable and if you don;t have it, why not?

What do you dislike?

Maybe a more intuitive GUI and a Dashboard mobile app, but these are cosmetic points.

One of the things that is most important about using Asigra is that it is agentless, which is great. The interface is simple to use and one can become accustomed to it quickly. The success partners spend a good amount of time with you checking in and helping your business grows.

The best thing about Asigra is that it is a complete end to end data protection solution that provides flexible yet robust data protection solution. You can backup any data type you want to.

You have the options to choose between Private, Public & Hybrid models with local copies as well as remote protection.

What do you dislike?

Reporting tools and GUI need enhancements.

"Asigra Cloud Backup: A comple Cloud backup solution"

What do you like best?

Asigra is our choice for providing managed online backups for our clients. There is no comparison between a full blown Asigra solution and the 'free' or 'unlimited backup capacity' services that are all over the internet. Asigra works. It is scalable. And it has an excellent track record in all types of environments. For MSPs it is a great source for revenue. For the clients it is a secure, reliable offsite backup. A win-win product all around!

What do you dislike?

The cost of ongoing support for Asigra is daunting. But, if you are in the business of providing quality service its an object that you can overcome.

"It does exactly what it says on the tin!"

What do you like best?

Agentless, highly secure, highly scalable and never lets you down. Backs up everything from the handheld to the data centre and everything in between. It's the one solution you can recommend, knowing it does exactly what it says on the tin. Customers can see both the technical & financial benefits at a glance!

What do you dislike?

About the solution, nothing. The Backup Status error reporting could be simplified.

"Good backup solution"

What do you like best?

it works perfect with least issues and has all required configuration. Its also easy for reporting and support is very helpful

its not easy for global deployment,

its not easy for global configuration change, the config file has to be changed manually to each machine.

"ASIGRA - A complete backup solution"

What do you like best?

The best part of the product is its agentless installation over the entire infrastructure, and other major features like compression, encryption & source deduplication which effectively reduce the amount of storage needed to store the backed up data.

What do you dislike?

I think reporting should be more user interactive.

I like the ease of backup, and the fact that it is a fully integrated backup solution for our business needs.

It took a bit of time to fully understand the capabilities of the product, however after that initial period it became easy to use.

What do you like best?

Wide-ranging agentless platform support, including VMware, Hyper-V, Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS. It's also built for both enterprises and service providers.

What do you dislike?

Interface will be updated in version 13, so I'm very much looking forward to that.

Support could also be streamlined a bit.

Adding replication features to the product would round out things and put it on more equal footing with competitors.

What do you like best?

Backing up and restoring data Asigra does it and does it well. A agentless cloud backup system that’s best in class. Very easy of use if you have never used backup software before. No more multiple point solutions to manage. And for the clients it is a secure, reliable offsite backup.

What do you like best?

Asigra can backup everything on anything. It has very simple and smart licensing model. Asigra Company has great service on all levels, from sales to technical and end costumer service. The software itself is very stable and functional. It has all our requirements as a cloud backup service provider to customers in all sectors, including the health sector.

In the start the GUI may seems little user friendly, but after great guidelines from Asigra you get a hands on things.
