"Easy, Simple"

What do you like best?

They offer a free basic version or paid. No training needed. Easy to navigate on your own.

What do you dislike?

Does not work well for larger paid events or ticketing. It is for smaller events.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Attend is good for your small events, but you will need Cvent or something bigger for your larger conferences for surveys, ticketing, sponsors, room block management, RFP's.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Quick and efficient for one off or last minute attendee management, badge management and social media promotions of events.

"Lackluster Integration with Marketo"

What do you like best?

My events team got this tool specifically because it integrates with Marketo, which would cut down on the amount of administrative work we would have to do before and after an event. However, after using the tool for 8 months, and having nothing but problems with the integration between Attend and Marketo, we are seriously considering moving to another solution. We have found that there's a very specific order of operations when setting up an event in Attend and a corresponding event in Marketo. If you do not follow the specific order to a T, then you run the risk of data (ie registrations) not syncing over from Attend to Marketo. We've run into this problem multiple times. We also have a sync between SFDC and Marketo, and have run into issues with data syncing just to SFDC and never syncing over to Marketo, whereas Marketo is supposed to be the primary integration for Attend.

What do you dislike?

The integration with Marketo needs work. It's very finicky and in turn, you can end up with data not syncing over between Attend and Marketo. We are constantly checking the registration numbers in both Attend and Marketo to make sure they match up.

Perform your due diligence if you are looking for event software that integrates with Marketo cleanly.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We got Attend to make it easy to check people into an event and take notes about conversations we had with attendees. We wanted the data to flow back over to Marketo in real time so they'd be no delay in getting the attendee lists over to our sales team.

"Easy to Use"

What do you like best?

Our office loves the check-in feature. We know how many people are at the event at any given time, and can filter the list to see who we're missing. Our attendees appreciate how high-tech we are compared to using paper lists

What do you dislike?

Company doesn't do release notes, so you never know what features are going to pop up or how a functionality is going to change.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Great for on-site usage; for large crowds, guests can even check themselves in at kiosks.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Managing attendees and reviewing metrics after the event. We like the event app, it's great for knowing who is on site and when no matter whether you're in the room or not. The reports for metrics could be better.

"Great service, easy to use, makes registration easy"

What do you like best?

I love the ease of checking-in people in on-site, printing name badges, and digital lists. Ad an even planner, this made registration logistics easy and freed-up my time for other tasks. I also was able to get an accurate reading of the number of attendees on-site, which is challenging when doing by hand or with other software.

What do you dislike?

The only dislike is that similar products are available for less cost, though they have limited capacities (I'm thinking of Eventbrite specifically). For a very low-cost event or an organization with a very tight budget, I would recommend a free service or lower cost service. Smaller events also may not need the level of detail and assistance provided by Attend, however, large events can certainly benefit.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As an event manager, this solves my registration and on-site check-in for large events. It makes it easier on my staff and volunteers, and makes it much easier on me - as there's less time training and explaining. It also helped greatly in reducing time spent on printing name tags and stuffing badges, since we can print badges as folks check-in to the event. It also solved the problem of knowing how many people were at my event at any given time - a number that is very hard to account for when you're checking people in by hands or the old-fashioned way.
