"We tried and tried and then we broke up"

What do you like best?

It was able to store all of our contacts and we could filter through them easily.

What do you dislike?

It did not generate reports or a dashboard on it's own. We had to have an attentive.ly person help us every time we wanted to learn about the population. We can only do social listening over 48 hours.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Understand exactly what you want out of tools like this - do you want to do social listening, do you want to do influencer work, do you want to do social insights? It's hard to understand exactly what they are claiming to be the best at, but I think it helps to know what you want before you purchase.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Social listening to different groups of people. It is nice to have your lists organized and some of the bio information available easily, but we still need more from them.

"Cool app for a big Organization"

What do you like best?

Ease of automating actions, daily digest of social media interactions, super attentive customer support, user interface.

What do you dislike?

As a smaller organization, this just wasn't a great fit for us. Our audience is small enough that we found we didn't get much more mileage out of the Attentively tools than we did from simply monitoring our social notifications and statistics. We may have done a little better if we had most staff working with Attentively; as it was, there was only one staffer who used it.

Establish clear goals about what you want from your social audience beforehand.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Growing social media presence, finding cross over between social media audience and email list subscribers.
