"The program is easy to use, but does not work the majority of the time. "

What do you like best?

The program is fairly easy to use. It is nice to be able to clone previous emails, and then go in and edit new emails fairly easy.

What do you dislike?

The program does not run all the time. There are glitches where sometimes emails don’t send, and also times when the program won’t even open.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It provides easy access for us as a company to send emails.

"Good tool for emails"

What do you like best?

I like how easy it is to set up emails, and the ability to update the lists quickly. Lyris has the ability to set up automated emails based on form submissions, drip campaigns, campaigns based on engagement with emails. There is also a lot of flexibility to set up custom variables on the fly.

What do you dislike?

The tool lets the users have multiple lists for the campaigns. The only thing that makes this difficult is that an email address can be in multiple of these lists and be send many emails. It's hard to really merge or look at an email address globally to see what lists they are included on. The content management area where the images are set up is a little clunky.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The system was used to send all email communications for form submissions and students at the university. The benefits of how many automated emails and ease of customization and personalizing the emails is really helpful.

"Strong platform for email marketing"

What do you like best?

Ease of use is probably its defining feature. It offers for many quick, easy to use tools for sending emails.

What do you dislike?

Recent price hike and I experience some glitches when running the software. The server has gone down multiple times

The click through feature was very effective in reaching our audience

We had a successful marketing campaign with Lyris. Being able to customized automated emails was very time- efficient

"Lyrics HQ"

What do you like best?

Campaign management and web analytics with tools to easily report on results

What do you dislike?

The functionalities are somewhat limiting and it would be great to be able to store the history of what was worked on

"The experience started out good but ended bad because company got bought out "

What do you like best?

They had a lot of great features and the staff was very helpful. I liked their interface as well.

What do you dislike?

They changed their price and tried to offer a lot less for a lot more.

"Cool email marketing tool."

What do you like best?

This very cool email marketing tool. I liked its highly personalized engagement feature . It builds better campaigns for email marketing.

What do you dislike?

Some time user interface seems not good . Rest of the things are good. Mostly not much negative for me.

"Unwieldy, but works."

What do you like best?

I've used multiple incarnations of Lyris now for more than 8 years. I do appreciate Lyris HQ's more intuitive visual editor very much.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the lack of attention of mobile browsers, and I wish the dashboard weren't flash.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use e-mail to leverage our fundraising campaign and to attract event attendance. Lyris reporting helps me identify trends in donor engagement and bejavior.

"Wonderful Marketing Tool"

What do you like best?

I love the ability to record click throughs. It helps when reaching your audience.

What do you dislike?

The limited design and or complexity of creating a more customized lay out was sometimes a bit difficult.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The benefits were great in seeing what people were actually clicking and opening. Not to mention it was great for seeing "hot topics" that were of interest to people.

"Newer versions may be better"

What do you like best?

Analytics are okay, not amazing though. To be fair, our company is using a pretty old version of Lyris (not even up to Aurea name!)

What do you dislike?

Interface is pretty archaic, we build content in a separate wordpress site (WHAT?!) and we can't customize messages with basic user info.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are delivering email messages. But in 2018, should expect more than basic delivery.

What do you like best?

Lyris has helped us engage in customer conversation on a valuable level. It's totally customization to our needs.

Haven't run into any dislikes yet. While using this product I didn't have any immediate complaints.
