"Mechanical Contracting Perspective"

What do you like best?

Navisworks integration; Online collaboration tools; real time updating of model; multiple projects managed at your fingertips in a shared online portal; file history readily accessible; support from AutoDesk personnel on all issues; design team is responsive to requests for added and improved functionality;

What do you dislike?

Consistency in movement options and clash detection; visual display options; for some reason when my company changed email addresses, it took me several weeks to get my Glue jobs transferred over to my new AutoDesk login email address. I wish that process would have been more streamlined and straight forward. It took way too many emails and phone calls to get that problem resolved. Throughout the process, techs people were responsive to my requests - it was the software that took forever to get fixed.

But at the end of the day, that's a small complaint compared to all the wonderful things that the platform provides.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Stick with it. The value is there if you use it as often as possible and enforce all trade partners to participate fully. The NavisWorks Manage integration piece alone can almost completely replace normal in-house document control practices if used to its fullest potential.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bringing trade partners together who do not own Manage is a major benefit in this industry. We talk to contractors almost every week that use Glue as their main collaboration and clash detection tool because it is provided by the GC and they don't have to purchase their own software suite.

"Extraordinary feature for BIM Revit Software"

What do you like best?

Uploading 3D models with sheet generated files easily extracted sheets, uploading pdf files with automatic zoom of sheet title, sheet numbers, etc.

What do you dislike?

Uneasy moving of files to another folder. You have to create a new folder aside from its original folder.

Recommendations to others considering the product

For a construction company, Autodesk BIM 360 is very helpful in featuring Revit model files to the client and to other users. When using BIM360, you can search even thru android phones, laptops, tablets, etc. anywhere - anytime. One can easily present 3D CSD models and per trade 3D models for coordination is a must for a construction industry. Autodesk BIM 360, help ease that need to get updated to actual site status. Clients, operation group, management group can view for construction drawings, IFC's, designs, design changes, value engineering, work-related forms, construction report status, etc. from the beginning of the project up to the end. Construction management thru BIM 360 easily organized. What I love most with BIM 360 is that, when you upload 3D model from Revit Software, one can view the model much easier (However, Navisworks is much faster). Before you upload your revit files make sure to export it to DWF/DWFx (It should be more than 10000 KB for a successful upload). In uploading e-files (like excel file), make sure you converted it with pdf, otherwise, you cannot open it. In transferring files to another folder, you have to create another sub-folder, then choose the files you want to move.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Autodesk BIM360 improves sharing, storing documented files, easy access to the website and easy to use. All trades can easily review the files anywhere, anytime.

What Construction Management solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!

"Almost Got it"

What do you like best?

Portability, having almost all contractors on the job using the Bim we are all on the same page, and that in its self limits the excuses. its all in one place, Drawings, punch list, specs, job photos.

What do you dislike?

the biggest complaint is that BIM doesn't have a most recent tab. when you are looking at a document with 300 pages then you close that to look at a different document and need to go back you have to sort through 300 pages again, its time consuming, and a pain in the ....

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think is a great platform and is / can be a useful tool on the job site.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

the Issues list works great. you create a item sink and its on record, date, time with as much info as you want

"Many features are not intuitive & clunky"

What do you like best?

The ability to tie the model to BIM360 field.

What do you dislike?

Equipment creation is HORRIBLE!!! Location setup should be more intelligent and easier. Cost is too high for the value received. It seems to be very clunky for such as an expensive piece of software. The iPad app has different functionality than the web version and visa-versa. Having a 'preview in app' function on the web version would be nice to at least know how someone in the field will see things. There are times when someone setting things up doesn't have an iPad.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I've noticed a more focused support for the product which is great. We're already knee deep into the project and setups. It would have been nice to have this support earlier on. Right now we're hearing a lot about what's coming which can get old. While those features probably will be great, often times it takes years to ever see them realized. Thus far, the updates to the software and ease of use hasn't really changed since starting back in 2016 which is frustrating.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Production tracking has been a plus. Quickly creating issues and having them all on one spot is great. Punch list will see benefits.

"Solid Collaboration tools, Lackluster 3D Coordination utility"

What do you like best?

BIM 360 works very well as a Cross-Company collaboration tool making it very easy for the entire project team to stay connected with the very latest 3D modelling information on the project.

What do you dislike?

As a 3D Coordination tool I find BIM 360 to be extremely lackluster. Especially when compared to the other Autodesk Coordination software on the market. All of the same tools are there, they just aren't as powerful/useful as I would like to see them. Also with the latest versions the ability to merge BIM 360 Data with Local files has been taken away leaving you with no ability to have a truly "Live" model that can be updated on the fly. This leaves you with only the somewhat lengthy Gluing process or downloading every Project file you need to your personal machine, which destroys the value of such a powerful file sharing solution.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would make sure to utilize any trial period you can and make sure that this software will meet your needs in it's current form

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have coordinated several large commercial construction projects with BIM 360 Glue, and have thus far found that we were going back to Navisworks, just because coordination is so much easier.

"Great tool for tracking field issues is everyone is trained"

What do you like best?

BIM360Field is a great tool for us on our data center construction project. We have a dedicated QA/QC team that runs the platform and since them starting with the project, they have done a great job getting everyone trained up on how to use the program and follow through on issues through closure.

What do you dislike?

The program can be a bit slow at times when a lot of issues are in the system and may not be the easiest to understand for first time users.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The autodesk 360 platform is an excellent tool, especially on larger projects for tracking construction issues as construction progresses. I do not have experience using it on smaller projects, but I would feel confident with the correct administrative manpower that the tool could be beneficial for all projects alike.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Great for logging and tracking issues, allows us to quickly upload applicable back-up if issues are referenced in the future by 3rd parties, etc.

"Great for keeping track of project quality and snags"

What do you like best?

easy to recall checklists, issues (snags clean up notices etc.) and using barcodes for relating those issues and checklists to a specific area keeps everything a lot more relevant. We have over 7000 rooms on our project and using the QR codes has let us relate issues very accurately so that anyone can follow up on issues. Being able to compartmentalise the information by using the user profiles is also very useful as it means our subcontractors can focus on their own issues and it eally helps decltter the information that is presented to them while we can still keep track of the bigger picture.

What do you dislike?

the larger the project the setup seems to exponentially increase (allocating locations, equipment, checklists and qr codes) the use of the excel spreadsheets to import information definitely reduces this somewhat but adding locations for a larger construction project will take a lot of time (on the project I am working on there are over 7700 individual rooms) and then associating those locations with a piece of equipment in order to create a scannable QR code doubles the time with something that is largely replicated work but you have to do so in order to assign a relevant checksheet template to a loation.

Recommendations to others considering the product

whe settig up locations for construction project, ask your architect for a extract of their drawings for the room numbers and copy that into the excel spreadsheet for the locations or equipment when importing, this will save you a lot of time.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

recalling closed or in progress issue resolution is very easy, especially compaired to trawling through paper docments

"User friendly and easy to access different functions."

What do you like best?

I like the layout and how easy it is to complete tasks. Everything is easily accessible.

BIM Field - Easy to use, the daily dairy function has been popular on site.

BIM Glue - Navigation around the model is relatively easy - probably easier on the iPad version.

What do you dislike?

Although BIM Field does a good job of providing the basic tools to increase communication, certain aspects are limited such as notifications between internal users, duplication detection and the library upload function. BIM Glue could improve on it's mark up function as it is clunky and not as intuitive as it could be. Consider adding an undo function, being able to snap to the model and possibly being able to add text boxes rather than the text flowing off the page.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are continuing to utilise the reporting function which has enabled us to:

(i) keep updated daily updates - this enables us to keep track on progress of our subcontractors on site and their daily activities.

(ii) issue list - we are able to notify subcontractors who are willing to use the system of any snags on their works.

These benefits have allowed us to communicate with subcontractors more efficiently and keep track of progress in real time.

"A Great Team Based Coordination Solution"

What do you like best?

Glue is great tool for clash detection and I've found it to be a little more reliable as compared to Navisworks. The markup comment tracking is a good feature as well. I would say it is a good addition to Navisworks. I usually us the markup feature to drive coordination meetings. This allows me to create markups on the fly but not necessarily save them.

What do you dislike?

If you have over 300 markups, the markups interface becomes slow. Depending on model size, I have trouble with the dimension features. I wish the software had quick keys like Navisworks. Glue needs a little more functionality to replace Navisworks all together. If you have had the software open for longer than 12-18 hours, you will get a bug when you attempt to export from Revit. The software definitly needs an api so teams can get into the back end and create useful software plugins.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Revit setup is everything. Would recommend DPR model slicer. Autodesk should create a document of tip and tricks to improve performance of the software for use on iPad. Huge models won't work on the iPad in my experience.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Clash detection mainly. We created our own system to process clashes using glue.

"Great for field work to office coordination"

What do you like best?

The amount of detail that can be created from point cloud scans for modeling. We got a very accurate layout of all the piping, ductwork, electrical, and mechanical equipment for a very tight space, letting us know what we could do with significantly less field work to coordinate everything.

What do you dislike?

The models created are made of individual pieces. Nothing connects to each other in the model, making it difficult to make adjustments for new work projects. Every pipe and fitting that was going to be removed for the project had to be selected and adjusted one at a time, which really added to the lead time of the project.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Point cloud scanning and other field coordination are incredibly useful functions. But the point cloud scanning can have a very high cost, so consider it carefully and only get it if your company will be using it on enough project to make back the cost.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Having a completely accurate understanding of the space we can use for new work in a very tight, clustered area. With the point cloud model, we knew where every pipe, light, and conduit was that we had to work around.

"Glue, Field and soon Docs user, nearly daily."

What do you like best?

Glue - the ability to view multi platform models collaboratively in the cloud.

Field - the ability to organize issues, tasks and track it all in one environment in the cloud.

Docs - model comparison, one "true" source of files. Documentation management capabilities.

What do you dislike?

Glue - the user interface settings can not be customized. The inability for Glue to reorganize alphabetically the appended models in a merged model. The inability to scroll up and down through a long directory when moving models from a folder on top of the list to the bottom.

Glue App on iPads - the files are not compressed enough for use of large merged models. May be an ipad issue, but attribute some of this to Glue since iPad usage is desirable.

Field - Specifically for the App on iPads - Different restrictions to information that is required to be filled out on the web browser version. Whereas restrictions can be set in the web browser version of Field, forcing users to fill out required information of an issue during creation, while the Field App has no restrictions of required information. Therefore incorrectly filled out issues are possible.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Get on board now, and anticipate further development and need of BIM 360 in the future.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Collaboration, visibility, transparency. This goes for both Glue and Field. Team members are now accountable for their actions, words, uploads, and usage of Glue models, and Field issues reported.

"For the most part it is a good tool but there are things that could improve"

What do you like best?

I like the the mobility of having the program in the field and being able to pull up any documents i need on the ipad

What do you dislike?

I dislike the speed of the program. at times it will go really slow or crash in the middle of using it. I also have run into problems that completely stop by project from using it

Recommendations to others considering the product

BIM 360 field is a good product for creating and tracking issues as well as keeping track of inspections. It can be set up to have your subcontractors help in the process of tracking at a relatively easy process. There are some things that could be improved with the program.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have all of our documents uploaded into BIM so our subcontractors can access them. We also create and track all of our issues through BIM. this make its easier to solve and track issues

"Good, but challenging. Always have to stay on top of the developments. "

What do you like best?

The best part is how it works with Revit models, how it deprecates the sheets out of the model. This makes it easier for our subs and site Superintenates to relate it to a drawing set they’d print off.

What do you dislike?

The cost, as we invite more subs to be apart of BIM Docs the more it will cost us. It makes it more challenging to show how it’s value can offset its cost.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We’re trying to solve how we can use “BIM tools” in a smaller market with clients who aren’t familiar with the advantages with BIM. The advantages is we’re able to help out clients visualize projects better.

"Inspection requests have never been so organized."

What do you like best?

I enjoy the ease of the task section when building an inspection request form that has all of the necessary information.

What do you dislike?

The Calendar could be a little more developed.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are a contractor that would like to help make the inspection request process easy for the inspection team and the sub contractors than Bim 360 is the program you have been looking for.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using Bim 360 to build a private hospital. We use the Task list as an inspection request system and we add all of our inspection reports to task. Which keeps all of the inspection information in one place. It makes an OSHPD audit a lot easier. We also use the check list as way to provide a daily report.Which is required by code. Bim 360 has provided us with a platform for organizing a messy report and IR situation.

"A360 - Everything in one location"

What do you like best?

I like that it accessible from any internet available device and allows me to access files and models wherever I am. I can work on revit models and share info with consultants outside of our office without dealing with FTP uploads and downloads.

What do you dislike?

The name keeps changing and so does what the tool does. This is a combination of many tools for the AEC industry under one umbrella name.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you understand all the differences between A360, BIM 360 and C4R. I'm not sure that this review is great because I use A360 and C4R which are part of autodesks platform. I don't use the construction related portion of BIM360 so hopefully others use that and can give you better feedback on those tools. But for cloud based project collaboration A360 and C4R are a great combination.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Collaboration with consultants and team members in different offices or locations. A360(part of BIM 360) allows us to publish our models in formats that anyone we invite to the site can view and mark up or work on.

"Comprehensive In-Cloud Design Collaboration Tool"

What do you like best?

Functionality to upload, merge and share multiple models with project stakeholders, and ease of navigation, sectioning and basic measuring tools make for very productive coordination meetings.

What do you dislike?

It is a little confusing between whether you need a desktop application, or can use a browser to access models. It seems the desktop app is an extension of the online platform, and Autodesk makes it difficult to find/download, but it works smoother than just accessing it through a web browser.

"Great tool needs improvement"

What do you like best?

The ability to review Revit models without having the software installed on any platform. It makes the communication with clients and other members of the design team easier. It's also easy to keep mark-ups organized.

What do you dislike?

There is no information on file size which makes it difficult to decide whether or now something could be downloaded quickly. Also, you cannot sort files by file type; this makes it hard to figure out where pdfs or jpegs or other file types are.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Do not wait to implement it. It is the future of the AEC industry. The more integrated we are, the better the end products will be.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"A convenient and comprehensive platform."

What do you like best?

For myself and my teams, the BIM 360 platform provides a constant up to date source of information. I can be traveling and at any point get online and see the latest and greatest at any time.

What do you dislike?

My dislikes of the BIM 360 platform are very few and small. The only real problem i have encountered is the very rare occasion when the Autodesk servers are down. Even with that Autodesk has always been very proactive and fast in solving whatever the issue may be.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

For myself BIM 360 helps me by taking a step or two out of my process. I no longer have to download and compile models everyday. BIM 360 glue does this for me, which when you are busy and in meetings all day even something that simple can be a massive help.

"BIM 360 Digitally Enhances Job-Site Efficiency & Workflow"

What do you like best?

Most importantly, the ability to easily store and navigate through project drawings. In addition, you have the confidence that the cross-functional team is working of the same drawings and notations you are.

What do you dislike?

For the installation team that uses the software, all their tasks shows as though they're either complete or incomplete - nothing to the effect of in-progress. Nor does it segment quality control checks which are accomplished post-install.

Recommendations to others considering the product

BIM 360 is the best solution to work remotely with Revit files. Though there are some deficiencies, such as when files get too large you need to use a laptop not tablet, the positives far outweigh the negatives. Take the time to implement correct and run a test trial on a small job. Overall, this capability will give any contractor, engineer, or architect an advantage with future partnerships (attaining or retaining) since the industry is moving to cloud tech.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Cost savings since projects are planned more effectively both in regards to a timeline and personnel standpoint. Additionally, the return on investment far outweighs the incumbent system since planning has become optimized.

What do you dislike?

"Effective & Intuitive software"

What do you like best?

1. Ability to point issue locations on a physical floorplan which can be coordinated with responsible parties to find solutions.

2. Ability to save and document issues offline at physical jobsite location with photos and notes. Issues can be later synced where a wifi connection is available.

What do you dislike?

1. Sometimes the software can be a little slow to respond.

2. There is a chance to accidentally move or delete comments made by other users. There should be a lock feature to prevent users from accidentally doing this.

Recommendations to others considering the product

When using an Ipad it takes too much time to sync once you have a significant amont of information / data stored. Currently there is no way to reduce the amount of live data without deleting permanently.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bim 360 saves a lot of time on ensuring quality is adhered too and cant continue without being signed / checked off. Bim 360 pushes (due to its simplicity) more operational staff to use it as it will & does save work & time. It is also a great reporting tool for higherachy and the individuals using it.

"BIM 360 keeps the job going"

What do you like best?

I like using BIM 360 Field for keeping track of issues in the field and to communicate various issues to subcontractors, architects and engineers.

What do you dislike?

I would like to see more Status categories for subcontractors to choose when they are reviewing issues. At present they can only choose to mark issues as "Work Completed" or to leave the item "Open". An option for them to report if the issues does not pertain to them without just adding a comment and marking the issue completed. Perhaps an option such as "Reviewed" and then sub-options such as "Not in contract", "Assigned to Incorrect Company", "Further Direction Needed", and so forth.

Recommendations to others considering the product

There are many components to BIM 360. Integrating as many of the components and modules as possible in your business environment to meet your needs will be a process of trial and success!!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

In my current role as a Quality Control Manager for construction, the biggest problem is getting subcontractors to perform their own quality checks. I remind them to use the issues tracking as a guide for what they should be checking in other similar areas and not to strictly adhere to the list as being the final word for meeting their contractual requirements. I also remind them that we are not blaming them for various issues but rather that we are showing the architects/engineers/owners (who also see the issues) that we are identifying non-conforming work which we expect will develop a level of trust to obtain future work.

"All About the Images"

What do you like best?

The photo sharing features allow for fast and easy communication and commentary on construction progress. By bringing multiple users on board in addition to just the architectural team, our speed and collaborative efficiency is greatly improved. The software helps streamline our coordination between the architects, general contractors, subcontractors, design consultants, and the clients. This saves us time and hassle by cutting out a lot of slow email based communication.

What do you dislike?

My personal experience has focused heavily on viewing shared documents and files. Sometimes this can be slow. I'd like to see better tools to manage and download content, and to keep that content organized. When you have a lot of Images, the interface can be difficult to scroll through. It doesn't do a good job of utilizing a full screen size without having to switch back and forth between a cumbersome window and a 'zoomed in' view of images. Sometimes this workflow feels very unintuitive. But when it works it works very well. Being able to zoom and pan on images is an important feature, and it could be better implemented.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you have the time to test its implementation, and the ability to weather the initial road bumps, this management software can bring a lot of benefits. There's just a big initial hurdle to clear.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

BIM 360 has helped with punch lists and construction quality management. It also helps shorten the time to get from on-site photo taking to actually distributing a punchlist. The workflow for the office is more streamlined. We've implemented BIM 360 on a project that's being built in another state. It's helped close a lot of communication gaps since we cannot be on site on a regular basis as the project architects. It also helps us communicate with our architect of record and keep our management tasks in sync.

"so beats using pen and paper for tracking issues!"

What do you like best?

simple and easy to use. The mobile version for ios makes it simple to use out in the construction site. There are so many different types of reports that can be generated. Just find the one that satisfies your needs and away you go. Our clients design team were initially skeptical but they have embraced it wholeheartedly. That in itself is telling you it works! The ability to create site diaries on the ipad is also a great benefit. Our companies H&S forms are also there to be used as BIM 360 allows these to be incorporated. Having all of the drawings on your tablet makes life so easy when trying to let someone on site know information. Saves carrying around files of paper

What do you dislike?

nothing really so far! Am told that an android version is coming soon which will open it up to even more users. I would like an issue count on the mobile version. You can only get that on the computer.

Recommendations to others considering the product

go for it - you wont be dissapointed

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

it makes life so easy to create, track and manage the whole 'issue' life cycle which previously meant filling in spreadsheets. I can create many times of reports from my computer and use my ipad to carry out the task on site. So simple. It is easy to track progress and report this to your client. They can see that issues are being resolved. Our staff find using the mobile version means they are spending more time on site than being stuck behind their desks. This makes them more efficient.

"BIM 360 - Great Product"

What do you like best?

One of the major aspects that i like about BIM 360 is, central location! The fact that everything lives in one easy to access location makes life a lot better.

What do you dislike?

I think that some of the integration for other products into BIM 360 is detached. Bim 360 is a separate system that you have to push models to. I think the products could all be in one app and speaker to each other a little better

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think being able to have all aspect of one project in one app. Then you can choose with module or add in to import or utilize would be good.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Issues and make sure they dont fall through the cracks. We are making our coordination process much more efficient with the glue aspect. We are also validating our work is correct by using check list and being able to keep a track record of it.

Not very much. Slow and frustrating to use.

What do you dislike?

Checklists tab -

Text boxes for comments are too small / don't expand.

Attachments locations / titles can't be seen without clicking on details tabs.

Can't sign in different users on the same i-Pad.

Slow upload / download speeds.

Too many outages.

Can't do multiple downloads of checklists for end of contract archiving - have to open and download one at a time.

Can't make copies of checklists on desktop, only on i-Pad.

Daily reports tab -

Text box is too small - lots of wasted screen even on a desktop sized screen.

Can't customize diary page layout.

Slow navigation between different dates.

Cant see who has done a diary on a particular day without opening date up - no summary in calendar box.

Photo thumbnails are too small.

"Excellent for Combination Field & Office use"

What do you like best?

The usability of the portable applications on Apple & Android systems makes 360 great for working on the job and transitioning back to an office environment. The sync system is excellent since you aren't required to have continuous connectivity.

What do you dislike?

When working with tables and lists, selected visible headers aren't saved, this would be a great addition to allow returning to a work task after closing the browser window.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Consult with another company who may have already implemented this tool.

A sufficient amount of mobile devices makes field related work trivial using BIM 360.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"BIM360 Review"

What do you like best?

It is easy to track issues, items, documents, safety, and quality. You can use it on an iPad while walking around a project site. It allows me to have the documents I need anywhere I need them. It is also very helpful in keeping up with safety and quality issues while they happen.

What do you dislike?

Some things you can only add online and not on an iPad. This makes it hard when you are in the field and have to wait until you get back to your computer.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Allows you to track issues, safety, and quality on the go in the field. Can upload and look at documents on the go. Can have everything on the iPad and laptop pretty much everywhere you go.

"Great way to ensure quality and organization on a project!"

What do you like best?

I like the ability to access the drawings on site and the ability to zoom in on details. I like that subcontractors also have the ability to gain access to the program and jobsite documentation.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes when I zoom in onto the drawings, the details remain fuzzy and at times it will not allow me to zoom in on certain drawings.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are doing large projects and can add the program expense into project cost, it is user friendly and can really contribute better quality control and jobsite efficiencies.

What do you like best?

The ability to track nearly 1,000s of items in order to ensure a great product is constructed for the client. Many times the number of quality issues can get out of control, but BIM360 makes it very easy to maintain and execute repairs/fixes.

"3-D viewing"

What do you like best?

To my knowledge, the BIM 360 feature is the cloud based model (not just a REVIT model) that updates real time as individual users make changes to and update their model or linked models. I haven’t used this often, but I have reloaded changes and viewed how users can download this feature on computers, tablets and phones to see the changes and mark what may need to change in the future.

What do you dislike?

Since I mostly use Revit, CAD and C4R, it’s sometimes confusing which Autodesk features host others and which are independent from one another. I believe BIM 360 is the overarching software that connects many Autodesk modeling softwares.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

What do you like best?

The best that BIM 360 has to offer is collaboration. As for Glue; You can create viewpoints and markups and email them directly to field crew. Which helps expedites solutions to problems that us BIM Coordinators find within the model.

What do you dislike?

Wish we could utilized Revit files within BIM 360 Glue as Navisworks does. It would be better than kicking out a dwg and nwc.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I think the best thing about using BIM 360 is the visibility it gives to issues and a tool to take back to the employees to see where improvements can be made.

Sometimes issue IDs get confusing because an author has the same initials as another. Also I use BIM on multiple sites and would like it to be standardized. Maybe that has to do with the settings from the "owner"or admin or the program.

"Easy to use and collaborative"

What do you like best?

The way that all users on a project are to work together collaborativly.

What do you dislike?

Overtime, the app on the Ipads seem to slow down and stutter. Pressumably from the amount of project data

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using field 360 to notify others of quality issues and safety issues. The openess of the system allows managers to rectify issues accordlingy before they get out of hand.

"Great platform"

What do you like best?

The ability to have a single location to store and share files from all the project trades. I also like that BIM 360 keeps the versions catalogued just in case.

What do you dislike?

I do not like that you can only see “markups” within the BIM 360 platform and not in Navisworks as well.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It makes it easier to share information with all project trades.

"Great App"

What do you like best?

The app UI is extremely user friendly. It does not take long for the guys out in the field to understand how it operates. The usefulness of the app is the most important feature. There are still a few bugs in the app that need to be addressed, but overall it is a good system.

What do you dislike?

The desktop UI is not very easy to navigate from an administrator perspective. A more stream lined experience would be appreciated.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using this project for punch-list. The comments and pictures feature is extremely useful for this application.
