What do you like best?
Avimark is very easy to use in the veterinary field and has a lot of different options/features. Being able to see 1 client and multiple pets of that client at one time is helpful. Being able to search by first name is helpful in those times where the last name is hard to make out. Transferring transactions from one account to the other enables the client to pay for multiple accounts with one transaction. Setting up the schedule in the format that fits the clinics needs keep things moving smoothly and appointments viewable.
What do you dislike?
There are many features that would be nice to have in Avimark, including being able to set up an auto delete of inactive accounts after so many years, including all attachments. It would be great if there could be more than 1 boarding calendar (to separate cats and dogs). Being able to email more than 1 document at a time would be helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Avimark is great and easy to use! It is very simple to learn and their customer service is unbeatable. Being able to use Avimark and implement it in our daily needs every day is very helpful and makes our jobs go so much smoother. Finding information on certain clients/patients is very quick and easy thanks to the different search options available.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We have been able to implement discounts for clients, alter the schedule for our needs, print out records in a timely manner, attach previous records to an account, delete inactive accounts and change options for each client individually. We've been able to merge multiple accounts that were one person, integrate our credit card and care credit systems, learned how to attach received faxes to individual accounts, and how to rearrange the boarding kennel calendar to be more efficient.
