"Forecasting made easy"

What do you like best?

Aviso saves me probably 45-60 minutes each week in forecasting. I have everything I need under one tool to be able to 1) see what my reps are forecasting, 2) adjust stages, 3) remove deals from my commit (love this functionality!), 4) have AI to show me where the commit will land.

It takes the guesswork out and the constant digging into my reps' book is minimized because I have full visibility.

What do you dislike?

As a manager, I think the forecasting tool is incredible easy-to-use. The feedback from my reps is that editing on a deal-by-deal basis is a bit more tedious as the insights aren't as detailed.

We also have constant issues with load-times for making updates on deals--sometimes pushing 5 minutes. And issues when updates do not save and not being notified.

I also wish there was an Annual view instead of just monthly & quarterly.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Pilot it out before officially launching -- this made the actual roll-out much easier! Also do not be afraid to communicate with the support team and pass along feedback. There's usually an answer to a question or a solution to a problem!

"Predictive Sales Forecasting"

What do you like best?

I love how the Aviso engine can grade individual sales opportunities on their likeliness to close in the quarter. This enables us to better prioritize the deals that need attention during our sales inspections and forecast reviews. I also love the 'Aviso Forecast' that is compared against the business forecast. This is very valuable at the beginning of quarters where all the reps have not fully updated opportunities but Aviso can take this into account and predict and accurate forecast and which opportunities should be forecasted to close.

What do you dislike?

There is a lot of information available so initially the team just needs to get use to it. Different personas might not need all the different views/insights, this is not really a 'dislike' because I like all the features and I personally want to view it all, but I find it can be a bit overwhelming for some folks initially until they get some experience using it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are trying to focus our sales inspection/forecasting time on the opportunities that need the most attention and not just the largest opportunities. We are trying to find those opportunities where the extra focus will change the outcome to the positive, closing the deal, vs potentially losing or slipping. We also are trying to solve having a more accurate forecast week 1 in a quarter. Aviso is giving us the capability to do this.

"Aviso is the most intuitive and flexible forecasting tool at the time."

What do you like best?

* How they work on our business needs and stay flexible on our requirements.

* Love the dashboard and visualization with regards to pipeline management and forecasting.

* Client - Vendor support is also exceptional as we have a regular cadence of meeting to work on issues and wish lists.

* Provides more relevant features and upgrades to meet our expectations.

* Ease of administering Users and Hierarchy for all teams, segments or groups.

* Very optimistic in providing solutions with regards to the companies needs.

* Providing documentation and helpful materials about the product in general.

What do you dislike?

Reporting and Analytics capability though this has been included in their timeline and upcoming features. Need to improve their regular syncing for optimized and real-time figurative analysis.

"AVISO Review"

What do you like best?

I like that Aviso provides accurate sales pipeline forecasting, making it easier to determine how your sales month is looking so that if you're a little behind, you can plan early. I also like that it provides a snapshot of individual opportunity's sales velocity, this is very helpful for Sales Managers in coaching sales reps about what goes on in their deals and how sales cycles can be shortened.

What do you dislike?

Aviso can be daunting for new users, it has plenty of bells and whistles to explore that someone new in using it might find it just a tad bit confusing and complicated .

Recommendations to others considering the product

Aviso has been a helpful tool for us, especially as a sales organization. It has been an instrumental tool for sales managers in our organization in managing their sales pipeline and in coaching and developing sales reps too.

Aviso has so far been accommodating with the customization requirements of our organization, so, however you see Aviso would work best for your company and organization, don't hesitate to ask and explore your options just like our organization did.

As a sales organization, Aviso helps forecast more accurately where our month, quarter, and year is going to end. Since it aggregates the sales opportunities we have in the pipeline, it helps us determine where we stand at any given time and allows for us to create strategies that would help us end the month/quarter/year strong.

"Effective way to forecast sales"

What do you like best?

You would be able to integrate Aviso to Salesforce and all opportunities, Bookings, and forecast end numbers would show there. You can do pipeline and deal review with your reps easier as well. I recommend Aviso to those companies who would want to improve sales output and improve productivity.

What do you dislike?

It's hard to navigate at first and if you are comfortable doing pipeline review in Salesforce, you will feel a little unease if you do not know where to go and how to find views. It is best when you have a group of focused individuals to have this toll used first then evaluate if it is useful for the specific department or for the whole organization. Needs accuracy on data when integrated with CRM to ensure correct forecasting which is the main benefit of using this tool.

Aviso is a powerful tool for your business when it comes to sales forecasting. You just need to have a training how to use it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Forecasting and business analytics. These two are the best use of Aviso in our industry as it resolves future loss or forecast sales. It creates a great realization on where the business is leading and what else should be improved in the organization. Provides coaches, managers and leaders to have a view of what they should work on to to improves sales productivity and enhance pipeline management for their subordinates. There's a lot more you can makse use of this tool with proper training

"Aviso helps us to make our quarter!"

What do you like best?

Aviso's predictive forecast is deadly accurate for RingCentral's high transaction business. They give us a number on the first day of the quarter. When we put in our target, we can see we are going to make it or not. Then we have 89 days to influence the number and make up any potential gaps. Our Sales Leaders regularly use the Aviso forecast to guide their activities during the quarter to help them to hit their number.

Aviso also has a great dashboard for Sales Managers to have data driven 1x1's with their sales reps to review their deals, what changed in the last week, and what their updated forecast is for the week. This is very effective to help the reps know that their business is visible to their manager and the VP's. This helps them to keep their SFDC data accurate.

What do you dislike?

Aviso does not yet have live updates with SFDC but they're working on it.

Its the best forecasting tool I've seen across the market, easiest to use, and mosts accurate.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Aviso helps us to make our quarterly forecast by accurately predicting where we will finish based on that day's deals, and it directs the manager to know when they have a gap to make up and where to do it.

"Incredible Forecasting and Amazing Insight "

What do you like best?

Aviso is sensational at forecasting and making sure that the right deals are in play for each and every quarter. We have weekly calls to determine which deals need to be changed to commit or moved out of commit.

What do you dislike?

That there isn't the ability to remove several nodes at 1 time.

The call out and projections are second to none.

We were only 80k off of our projection for Q3, that was pretty incredible. It also shows deals that we thought would close as having a bad score and didn't end up closing at all!

"Shaky start, but great finish."

What do you like best?

The customer success team i worked with. Ravi and Tyler were simply phenomenal. They were very responsive, always positive, and did their absolute best to implement changes we requested

What do you dislike?

There are still a lot of features that Aviso lacks, which has made the transition a bit difficult at first. That being said, they are doing their best to put our feedback into the road map.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Have a full on analysis and road-map of what you require from your forecasting tool. We did an OK job in this category. I think if we spent more time then we would have been able to have a smoother implementation overall. Highly highly encourage folks to talk to other sales users of Aviso or similar tools.

We are trying to solve business problems are sales forecasting and trend analytics. The benefits I have realized in the short launch so far is that there are endless possibilities when it comes to analyzing your rep's behavior.

"good tool could be better"

What do you like best?

it provides a good overview of deals forecasted for current quarter, easier to see the changes week on week; sales ops perspective, it saves lot of time (as the alternative would be building it in excel)

What do you dislike?

the last deployment has created a lot of frustration - specially on the sales VP. The message "you are changing the forecast on xxx behalf" is not needed and it required another 3 or 4 clicks everytime the manager goes in just to see forecast of any of the reps. I understand we cannot opt-in or opt-out to have that functionality but i cannot believe we are the only ones complaining

it enables a conversation on rep's forecast vs pipeline they have; easy to see the changes and understand rep's behavior (committing deals only when PO is in hand, keeping pipeline clean, etc); for the manager it helps to prepare the conversation with higher management since it they will have an overview of entire team.

"Aviso Forecasting"

What do you like best?

Over the past two years, Aviso has made significant improvements in its UI, functionality, administrative capability, and added new features in dashboard and analytics. Customer success team is very responsive and stays flexible on our business requirements. Dashboard and Deal Review are being used the most.

What do you dislike?

A specific need of ours is to report on forecastable amount across Aviso. It would make the reporting analytics usable for our team if this can be done.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Identify a few (at least a couple) power users and revise the training materials to fit your company's forecasting process. Clean up CRM data so that Aviso can easily pull the data and aggregate/display.

Sales leaders are able to use Aviso during their forecast calls to get insights and review deals close-to-real-time. Finance and Marketing teams are able to export the same set of data for analysis.

"Ease of Forecasting and Visibility Across the Company!"

What do you like best?

Scientific data forecasting. Trending analysis. Ease of use with clean new UI. Ability to toggle opportunities for in or out of forecast to indicate which deals make up the AEs' commit numbers.

What do you dislike?

Lack of self-service, permission sets and security access. Currently, users have the same access to the data in Aviso (no concept of field level security).

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are finding a tool that is a one stop shop for our forecasting and data analytics that includes trending so that we can track out pipeline as well as forecasting behaviors. This will greatly help usas a company to accurately forecast and stay on track.

"We are getting somewhere..."

What do you like best?

Aviso has made some significant improvements to their UI and their agility to customize their UI to the uniqueness of our business.

What do you dislike?

Hard to say as we just launched the new customized UI, I don't want to provide feedback on something that hasn't been tested so early on.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We want a clear view of the forecast mirrored in Aviso and Salesforce. The push and pull of data that now exists between the two platforms should allow for the two systems to run in tandem, but we are just rolling this out now.

What do you like best?

Trend dashboard. Interesting to see how our current bookings relate to our "ideal" pace and if we're on pace or behind pace. Great insight to our current quarterly progress

Not much I dislike on this platform. I think some aspects could be a little better laid out visually, but from a metrics standpoint its great.

"Aviso has been a good tool to help keep track of current Q deal and project pipeline "

What do you like best?

Forces me to sit down weekly and make sure my pipeline is accurate. the information is organized and easy to manage

What do you dislike?

It does not sync back to SFDC, if i update something in Aviso, i would like for the update to effect SFDC as well, but it doesnt.

Sometimes it does a bad job syncing back from SFDC as well, which makes me do double updates, once in SFDC and once in Aviso

"Useful forecasting solution "

What do you like best?

Aviso’s forecasting software is a useful tool to communicate my sales numbers across the entire sales organization. It easy to use and configure, but most importantly gives visibility into my month, quarter, and year in one accessible place.

What do you dislike?

While the tool does update regularly from salesforce, I wish this process was in real time instead of every half hour. That’s the only shortcoming

"Live w/ Aviso for 1 Quarter"

What do you like best?

1. The dashboard view is fantastic, it shows me what has changed since yesterday, last week, and the start of the month. This helps see what has moved day over day

2. The Trend view is also very nice, giving management/ops insight into forecast calls over time and expected realiziation

3. Pipeline Analytics is a great concept, and in theory would be one of my favorite tabs, but is a few steps away from being super powerful. It lacks flexibility and a detailed drill down feature

What do you dislike?

The 15 minute sync time between Salesforce/Aviso has become a pain for our sales leaders. Many are used to Salesforce real-time syncing on the forecast tab. The user experience could use improvement, it's definitely slower than Salesforce, an example is clicking between different users in the hierarchy and different tabs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed to solve the problem of changing forecast categories between different roles within our hierarchy, which Aviso solves. Aviso allows us to override judgment/calls and rolls that up at an aggregate level on the forecast tab. Aviso also allows us to see what has changed over time to better understand out business.

"Aviso for forecasting"

What do you like best?

Deals are well organized and you can adjust the total deal in the top header regardless of what SFDC says.

What do you dislike?

You cannot automatically refresh Aviso from SFDC. If I need to make updates quickly and it also requires an update from Salesforce this could take a half hour or longer.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think it's very helpful for forecasting. It does take a little training to get used to the platform, but once you spend some time on it it can be very intuitive. I'd recommend using this tool.

Accurate forecasting. It's great to be able to forecast with this vs everything that is in salesforce. I'm sure it's even more so for sales leaders.

"Great Product for Predictive Forecasting"

What do you like best?

The tool is easy to use. It has helped us get a much better handle on our forecasting and pipeline. Users love the interface v. working directly out of Saleforce for pipeline managment/review.

What do you dislike?

There is constant innovation in the product, which is great, but sometimes it can lead to confusion amongst the users. Response time to fix issues can be slow as it has to be routed through India.

Team is very easy to work with. Tool sets up quite quickly. We saw accurate predictive analytics within 2 quarters.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Predictive forecasting. We can now rely on the Aviso forecast as a solid guide for current and next quarter. Gives us great insight into our overall pipeline for current and next quarter. Graphics on pipeline analytics are intuitive and answer the key questions the leadership team asks about how the quarter is going and how next quarter looks.

What do you like best?

It allows me to see the deals that have not been updated for a long time, giving me the chance to prioritize those that needs to be reviewed.

What do you dislike?

I wish it can capture more info from SF, like notes related to the opp.

What do you like best?

UI is clean and easy to follow, it is used heavily in our org for forecasting deals. I like how you are able to quickly toggle deals that are active vs inactive.

What do you dislike?

Does not integrate with Salesforce, not automated as well as it should be. I want to be able to update Salesforce and have it automatically updated in Aviso.

"Sales individual contributor perspective"

What do you like best?

Within a few short minutes I can update sales management on forecasted deals. Deal revenue forecasts are automatically pulled from SFDC. As a user, I just need to click a "blue dot" or modify the amount. You can easily toggle between sales quarters to get a quick bird's eye picture of your pipeline. Our management is able to write notations about each deal so that senior management gets further context.

What do you dislike?

I find the layout a bit complicated. Since I update Aviso in just a few minutes on a weekly basis, it's easy to forget how to get around in the user interface. Most of the features are more geared for management than individual contributors.

Aviso provides sales management pipeline visibility and forecast accuracy. This information is continuously monitored at every stage of the management chain and allows the company to accurately predict quarterly sales numbers.

What do you like best?

Easy to use dynamic interface.

Fast response time

I like the reports/ dashboards that can show you the health of where things are with your forecast and pipeline.

Also it is nice to see how the forecast has changed over time. It also automatically breaks out the different parts of the deal, support vs software vs education which is very helpful as I would normally have to do this manually.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes does not pull in the data expected

What do you like best?

The way your numbers roll up - all of my forecasts roll up in a way that is so easy for me to track! It's a no-fuss forecasting software

What do you dislike?

For the notes, you can't autopopulate the date as some forecasting softwares have had, but it's not the biggest deal

I recommend Aviso to other colleagues looking to switch! We trialed the product before a full roll out which helped and their support team has been great.

My company just switched from clari to aviso for forecasting. I really like that Aviso is user friendly and very easy to use.

What do you dislike?

There hasn't been any problems yet. Sometimes its a little annoying when you update your pipeline numbers and it doesn't refresh on the first try.

easy / nice notes section that management can use to add details about the deal that can be made private.

What do you dislike?

A little confusing for new users to navigate. Changes to the look and feel /structure have to be maintained and changed by Aviso - ie adding new mapped fields from sfdc. doesn't currently sync data back to sfdc so notes that are added are strictly kept in aviso

"Excellent product that solves a large SFDC shortcoming"

What do you like best?

SFDC has weak forecasting tools, it is difficult to get a sense of one's pipeline. Aviso has a nice crisp, uncluttered interface that permits forecast managers to take both a top-level and deep-dive view into pipeline.

What do you dislike?

Aviso is an evolving product. We generally have found the Aviso Score to be opaque and have been reluctant to fully rely on it, or use it as a tool to bludgeon sales managers / sales reps. Very recently some expanded documentation was launched around the score which is making it more transparent.

Powerful tool, still adding features. Aviso has been generous in customizing the product to meet our needs.

Aviso gives us a very good view into our pipeline both overall and by team. It provides its own quarterly prediction, which we use as a "rabbit" as our quarter evolves.

"Forecasting and Pipeline Visability"

What do you like best?

Sales now has a tool that allows them to easily roll up a Forecast that can be monitored weekly/quarterly.

What do you dislike?

As an administrator I would like to have the ability to log in as users and help edit their Forecast/Deal Grid layouts. As new AE's on board it would be nice to set up their views similar to their peers prior to them using the tool. This has been a common ask across the our org.

If you need a Forecasting / Pipeline BI tool that is easy to use than Aviso is right for you.

Forecasting. SFDC made it challenging for us to roll up an accurate forecast but we have found that Aviso makes it much more simple for AE's to roll up a forecast and list the deals that make up their forecast.

What do you like best?

The tool's functionality is easy to grasp and only includes what you need. The process is very straightforward and allows us as a sales team to make the updates we need in a timely manner and get on taking care of what else needs to get done.

What do you dislike?

There has been some growing pains in terms of uploading the quotas properly but I think that lies more with our Sales Ops unit rather than Aviso as a product. Everything else has been great!

Inability to push and pull data from SFDC, can pull but pushing data I have not seen possible.

"Great UI, UX and Capabilities"

My favorite part of Aviso is the ability to drill down into the forecast and be able to see exactly what deals make up that forecast.

Aviso could improve on the way data is exported, It seems like it is not in a tabular format, more of a text file of the dashboards

"Quality team and product"

What do you like best?

Aviso has a simple to use UI and its easy to deploy. The Aviso team has been fantastic to work with and has provided great support and Customer Success. They have delivered on what they told us they would.

What do you dislike?

Some of the insights are still buried in the product.

"Easy to Use"

What do you like best?

I have used many other forecasting tools and the ease of use is the best with Aviso as compared to any other.

What do you dislike?

Learning a new tool has its hiccups but once you learn how to switch from month to month, quarter to quarter, etc. it's a very simple tool to use.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Time spent actually forecasting and completing my leadership roll-ups. The overall use of the main dashboard gives me a ton of visibility, in a very user-friendly way, to where my team stands for the month/quarter.

"Good, clear, user friendly but not customisable"

What do you like best?

Very clear, intuitive and simple. We use it a sales reporting and it's easy to drill down or filter, or open the record on the CRM

What do you dislike?

You cannot create your own report. I cannot change fields in the reports, nor adding values / fields to the report.

"Easy Forecasting"

What do you like best?

Forecasting at a finger tip. The data is not stale (refreshes every 15mins), great real estate (has the info you need visually from SFDC! The ability to customized Deal grid and Forecast Tabs with the recent release. AVISO Support is great and responds very quickly!

What do you dislike?

From a UI perspective, not able to freeze columns or rows.

Reporting still needs some work for us to fully utilize.

Forecast Roll-up and transitioning away from using Spreadsheets. We have more time to focus on other projects/Reports due to the time saved on collecting and reconciling spreadsheets from other BU in our company.

"Cool and Essential Tool, Difficult and Lengthy Setup"

What do you like best?

The tools and features of this product are really cool and provide a lot of insight to the business. this product pretty much would replace two analysts in a previous team that I was part of. The UX is nice and easy to navigate.

What do you dislike?

Implementation and customization of the tool to meet our needs has been slow and difficult. The tool is not easily customizable and most of the time requires technical assistance from Aviso. Adding a field or changing the criteria for a filter can take a week.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are going to be using Aviso primarily for the forecasting functionality. We are looking forward to being able to have different calls based on management and commentary right within the forecast specific to the management level.

"Additional manual step for sales reps "

What do you like best?

It is easy to toggle opps into/out of the forecast once you find them

What do you dislike?

- It is completely disconnected from SFDC - any update to an opp in SFDC takes at least 20 min to populate over. You need to plan ahead for any forecast review and can't make quick last minute changes based on new info.

- It's difficult to find opps in the list using the Aviso filters

For leadership, it provides a central view into the forecast. For reps, it is an additional place to manually update the forecast.

"My experience is getting better."

What do you like best?

I feel like Management makes this a tedious task so reps aren't able to actually enjoy this tool and really leverage it. I feel like if I was more knowledgeable on the product, I would like it more.

What do you dislike?

I don't like the toggle. To many toggles to use to do simple things.

Make sure you have Aviso do lots of trainings to showcase their tools since Sales Reps forget.

Make it easier for me to forecast but it hasn't benefited me that much. The analytics haven't proved any trends for me.

What do you like best?

The focus in current and next quarter about forecasting and the visual interface to understand very fast and very clear the fields to complete and the right method to show the numbers.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really, I think it is a good tool and it is great to compliment for our CRM because typically the CRM tool presents a much information and it is difficult to put focus in order to forecasting.

"Accurate and predictive forecast"

What do you like best?

Visibility into monthly and quarterly prediction along with how it compares to actuals and mgmt forecast. I also like the fact that we can get any historical data on a fly.

What do you dislike?

The user interface wasn't as exciting but it has improved tremendously.

It's a great product and it will help you evaluate your forecast and pipeline faster along with getting any historical data quickly.

What do you like best?

Ease of use. Can quickly see a roll up of my entire staff's forecast and upside, easily manipulated.

What do you dislike?

I guess I wish I could more easily add or subtract new employees to the view.

"Easy way of providing visibility throughout the management chain!"

What do you like best?

Easy, and you can enter forecast comments, limiting visibility to either self or yourself and your manager! I also LOVE the stats it gives you on how long a deal has been in forecast stages, what tends to close when, etc

What do you dislike?

In our instance, it does not sync real time with SFDC so just need to be aware that changes you make to SFDC in terms of sales stage etc may be out of sync

Clear visibility to forecasting up and down teams, with the visibility that's needed. I also wish it were easier to show how my forecast has changed between two set dates, etc.. compare what deals have moved that caused my forecasts to switch between 2 weekly forecast periods.

What do you like best?

The integration with Sales Force and the ability to go from Aviso directly into Sales Force. I also like how you could filter out the deals per month or per sales cycle

What do you dislike?

That it is not a real time tool and it takes time to reflect any changes done in Sales Force

What do you like best?

The dashboard allows me to very quickly navigate around deals and forecasts

What do you dislike?

It feels a little clunky at times and It's painful having to wait for Aviso to sync with Salesforce. It takes about 30 minutes to roll up.

Before Aviso, the business was not able to get a real view as it related to forecasting. Since Aviso, I can put my view on values across the sales team before it roll up to the exec team

"Great Sales Forecasting Tool!"

What do you like best?

I enjoyed how the UI is very simple to use. Very functional design and simple UI provides great efficiency.

What do you dislike?

I dislike how adding/removing nodes is still quite clunky. I would add/remove nodes but the action is not instant, and takes about a day to process.

We are using Aviso to address our Sales forecast. The functionality and ease of access of Aviso make it so that I can navigate through multiple forecasts with just a few clicks.

"Predictive Forecasting"

What do you like best?

The Aviso's ability to understand the trend and the forecasting accuracy by each of the rep is simply amazing. It removes any human bias, and sentiments, and allow us to forecast accurately purely on the basis of past data points, which is amazing.

What do you dislike?

Dashboards could be better, and more dice and slice capabilities.

Ability to help us forecast our topline revenue more confidently, which helps us manage the business better, and plan for the gaps well in advance.

"Admin console needs work"

What do you like best?

Ease of use and intuitiveness of the user interface. It is a very simple tool to leverage and training is a breeze.

What do you dislike?

The admin console is a mess. It is extremely buggy and frustrating. There are simple moves adds and changes that require Aviso help desk tickets. It needs to be a tool that allows an admin to be more self sufficient.

Leverage their team. They are responsive and knowlegeable

The challenge of cadence surrounding forecasting has been minimized. We are very consistent with how we run forecast calls and the reps are very clear on their requirements. We have built efficiency around our pipeline management and forecasting process.

"Better than SFDC native forecasting "

What do you like best?

The ability to see all reps in a way that is easy to communicate a forecast.

What do you dislike?

The filtering functionality and the way the numbers roll from one column to the other is a bit confusing. It would be great if it updated from SFDC faster as well. I have used other tools that near real time.

Real time sync to SFDC would be very helpful.

What do you like best?

Aviso gives a look of the changes in deal over a period of time.

The forecasting can be done through Salesforce as well. This is an additional tool to look at.

I am not sure what is the utility of this product. I was asked to use this tool by my managers. But it doesn't add any value to my work. I use Salesforce for forecasting and it works best for me.

"Good as a benchmark in forecasting"

What do you like best?

Nice page layout, good customer support, overall forecast accuracy is good.

What do you dislike?

The Aviso score sometimes is too low to present in front of senior management. It's hard to customize features on our end - we need to send requests to support team.
