"Great potential but have room for improvement"

What do you like best?

The design is very sleek and clean, I like the way the cards look and how we can organise it in an aggregated manner and also in a granular manner. I like how we can select multiple metrics from a variety of channels and make it as specific as possible by creating formulas out of them.

It had multiple options regarding graphs which is really useful for different clients and their different goals.

When a report is accessible on one platform it makes it easier to keep a record with the client rather than having to run through stacks of email chains.

What do you dislike?

I understand the platform is new so there will be a few bumps but sometimes when we clone a card, the old card will show up as "No data" and sometimes it fails to pull data from certain platforms.

I am unsure if this is due to it processing a large amount of data and it can't handle it.

Recommendations to others considering the product

You can pull all your reports from one place and Avora aims to reduce the hassle that comes with multiple clients and multiple reports with different deadlines and structures.

Little too early to say but it's good to have all our accounts in one place.

"Innovative, collaborative and thought provoking"

What do you like best?

The ethos of the company means that nothing is deemed impossible. They embrace all ideas from clients and try to provide a solution to whatever request is put in front of them regardless of complexity.

What do you dislike?

Difficult to find an answer to this. I am yet to find one - The only thing I would suggest is that it would be good if there was a widget where we could put in targets and monitor against these.

Do not hesitate! Make the move as soon as you can.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving 3 or 4 problems at once with Avora. We wanted live up to date information on our key performance metrics along with our financial forecasting and weekly monitoring. This is in conjunction with mapping our data for a data migration to a new CRM and database.

The benefits have been abundant. The live reporting has meant we are able to action change within our business more quickly and thus have created greater efficiency resulting in improved profits. Up date to financial information has meant staff have a real time, update model of their performance over time and future sales pipeline. The possibilities with Avora are endless and we are only scratching the service.

"Complex setup but with insight that is worth the effort put in"

What do you like best?

I like the cross platform insights that you can extract. Being able to compare figures channel-to-channel is essential for our marketing approach and this platform is excellent for that.

I also like the week-on-week, month-on-month etc comparison capability.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the finicky way that tables and reports have to be set up, which requires unlearnt definitions of each metric. While this does give a lot of control, it feels like there could be a more automatic method of setting this up.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving:

- Cross-platform analysis to identify best performing channels.

- Reporting consolidation, for a faster and simpler daily view of data

- Client reporting: Avora is providing us with the ability to give clients read-only views of reporting, which saves time for us and gives them a direct and constantly updating view of data.

"Avora Review"

What do you like best?

The ability to pull data sources from multiple advertising platforms in order to visualise activity over a period of time to provide a cross channel performance comparison to present both internally to optimise campaigns and present externally to clients. Sending reports is good, but visualising data and trends for all purposes is very powerful.

What do you dislike?

Not the most straightforward platform to use initially, bit of a steep learning curve - but this is understandable, as it is a relatively complex engine.

Centralising all data and activity in one platform for external and internal use. Visualising data to better understand the affect of all channels against each other.

"Good dashboards and metric building but slow website"

What do you like best?

- Dashboards: good layout of cards

- Metric builder: colour coded SQL scripts makes it easy to write and check SQL statements

- Database explorer: quick and easy to preview tables and SQL statements

- Support team

What do you dislike?

- Status 505 error: often exports time out with this error code

- Page load speed: it can sometimes take a while to load all the cards in a dashboard.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

- Avora makes information readily available to users across our business.

- Avora allows us to directly query and combine tables from our database to produce reports. The reports are used extensively across our business.

- Avora saves time as reports do not need to be put together manually.

"Great source of data that is quickly accessible and easy to use"

What do you like best?

Straightforward approach to making adjustments to reports to pull back specific data that I want to view and the quick refresh and download of the datasets

What do you dislike?

Need more stability around ensuring that data is updated from external sources. Information gathered from the FTP location for Smoothie can sometimes be missed and the first flag I get is when I try to run the report. It would be helpful to have an internal flag which reported when data has not been extracted.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Quick access to forecast plans - taking huge sets of data and Avora is using it to publish as usable report which has consolidated all the data and made it easy to make business decisions around order qtys

What do you like best?

Really great team behind the product. Nothing is deemed to difficult. Challenges are embraced and worked upon collaboratively with our team.

What do you dislike?

ATM very little. Perhaps more options for UI display.

A very smart team who are constantly available to help you through your journey - pre and post implementation.

Currently: better data extraction from our CRM, KPI analysis, live financial modelling. Having live data available across devices has enabled our team to make better and more informed decisions.

"Good general purpose dashboards"

What do you like best?

The reports are relatively easy to compile and can be manipulated to show different time frames.

What do you dislike?

It can be very slow from time-to-time which is frustrating (especially that a 100,000 line report, can take the same amount of time as a 10 line report).

Logging in for the first time, and seeing the bank of spinning red discs can be disheartening as it could take up 2 minutes for all the reports to be ready

Recommendations to others considering the product

Give consideration to the number of reports you need. As each report takes a relatively similar amount of time to run it might be worth having a larger report than can be exported and modified than each individual person having their own bespoke report.

Stock availability, stock reservations and order allocations.

The ability to have all the data required to make a business decision in one sheet. And should we decide to include another field, it normally takes a matter of minutes to add and within 15-25 minutes the data is refreshed with live information,

"Excellent vision, but missing some basics!"

What do you like best?

Interface and presentation of charts is very clean and easy to understand.

What do you dislike?

Some basic features like being able to filter on columns are missing. Implementation of advanced features, like alerts and root cause should be more considered rather than applying to everything and seeing what sticks.

Review all of the different features to find the ones which would benefit you, then build around that.

Users are able to access near-live data and reports where previously we were only updating reporting once per week.

"Business intelligence which drives decisions every day with minimal effort"

What do you like best?

I like how Truedash not only provides a great BI experience, but they also offer us customer segmentation and price optimization for our site. Our marketing and merchandising teams use this data to send out customized, intelligent marketing as well as making sure we’re offering the most efficient price-points on our stock.

What do you dislike?

Not all the app integrations we wanted were self-configurable (like our warehousing API) so we had to submit helpdesk tickets for them and wait until they were completed (2-3 days).

We’re using data in a way that we never thought possible and it’s significantly adding to our bottom line.

"Improvements will be needed but potential is there"

What do you like best?

Support team is very helpful, responds to queries quickly. The platform is getting new features added over time so it has potential for greater usefulness.

What do you dislike?

the speed of the platform is often frustrating with the platform freezing, taking minutes to load cards.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Have a clear plan what you want to do and what kind of reports you want to produce so that the initial set up could take less time. Otherwise it can be time consuming.

"Downloading data that has been pre manipulated, large data sets, data from different tables"

What do you like best?

Format can be specified. Order of columns can be specified. Good for excel use or putting into tables for other tools to use for reporting.

What do you dislike?

Slow to synchronise data from original source. Data can be unavailable for times. Limit on data size can be frustrating.

Consider data size needed and how good synchronisation is with source data.

Data is presented with pre-agreed parameters - eg weeks of cover formula. One stop shop for data that gets downloaded.

"Great Features, Sluggish Navigation"

What do you like best?

Views, reports, visualisation all offer great value and contribute to providing essential insight.

What do you dislike?

Lack of intuitive processes. If you start to wander down the wrong path then the interface is infuriatingly slow to take you back to where you came from.

Have patience and don't expect similarities to the reporting interface and interaction that you'd expect from Analytics.

Client reporting is still being put into place. Issues with replicating reports from Google Analytics still being overcome.

"BI tool transforming data to drive business strategic "

What do you like best?

Truedash can integrate with any data feed we need them to and quickly. If they don't have the functionality they build it in a few days and we immediately see our data streaming in. The dashboards allow us to easily report on data from multiple sources in any way we want by adding cohorts, groupings, filters, drill paths, raw SQL etc.

What do you dislike?

I wish there was a way to annotate on our data inside of Truedash. Would make communication a bit easier.

Our entire company uses one platform. Truedash came in and trained everyone which has freed up so much time on our IT team. We don't have to pull or analyse data manually for coworkers any more.

"Convenient time-saving reporting"

What do you like best?

The Avora reporting dashboard brings together multiple feeds making it quick and easy to get a holistic view of a campaign

What do you dislike?

There did seem to be quite a lengthy set-up time and it does come at a significant cost

Avora enabled us to immediately see campaign performance, making real-time optimisations, rather than just on a weekly basis

"A powerful platform that allow businesses to delve deep into their seemingly disparate data sets"

What do you like best?

The ability to quickly manipulate visual data and graphs as well as set up different view for particular stakeholders.

What do you dislike?

the navigation can be a little complex and not always as clear as would be desired. Other than this I really enjoy the overall look and feel of the platform and that it is entirely web-based.
