"Fairly Comprehensive and Easy to Use"

What do you like best?

AwebDesk Email Marketer is easy to use, once installed. List management for email blasts is pretty easy and intuitive for users. I only used this as a regular user and not as an administrator, so I can't say how easy the initial setup and installation with a server is. That was done by someone else.

What do you dislike?

You only pay once, but you only get support and upgrades for three months. After that, you are either on your own or have to pay for new versions. I would like to see them give you longer, at the very least for support. I understand 3 months for upgrades, as they need to make money off new software versions to pay for development costs. But three months of support seems on the skinny side to me. I have never had to contact them for support though, just fyi.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The price is affordable and the software is feature rich. But like I said before, beware that there is only 3 months of tech support and updates available. This was with the Standard version, which is the least expensive one. The higher tiers may have longer support.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The need to advertise and create email blasts is an essential part of many business, but it can be difficult to manage the lists, especially when you get a large volume of subscription or unsubscribe requests. This handles most of that automatically for you, after you set up a new campaign and adjust all the settings. It is pretty easy to do, and most stuff is laid out in a way that is self explanatory.

The true benefit though is the analytical tools. You can see how many people have subbed and unsubbed from each campaign, and can track responses. You can even use the built-in tools for analyzing your social media integration, which I didn't think would be useful at first but turned out to be fairly enlightening. I used this data to determine how much time was appropriate for using social media based on interaction, and whether it was a good use of time or not.
