"Ask your target market is great for market research"

What do you like best?

Building a high-quality survey is amazingly simple in AYTM is super simple. Their advanced logic is easy to use and the tools to create a survey are both sophisticated and well built. I really like that they provide real-time feedback about how much your survey will cost as you create it. It's also super quick to produce results. Lastly, I like that they often run interesting surveys on statistically relevant audiences and publish the full results.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes their web app seems to get bogged down with complex surveys. Additionally, some of their limits, particularly around sample size for self-run surveys are counter-intuitive and the fact that you can't change the number of desired respondents after launching a survey can be super frustrating. Their cost is also slightly higher than some of their competition. I think it tends to be worth it, but it's worth noting.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I highly recommend AYTM. Their support is quick and their services are well priced. I once reported a small error in one of their pre-qualification questions to them and their support person gave me a $25 credit to their platform without me even asking.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We've surveyed hundreds of respondents for product research across multiple times and scopes. We've used both custom list (e.g. sending the link out to respondents) and panel surveys. Our main use case has been to help inform product development choices during early research, development, and business validation stages.
