What do you like best?
The ability to create custom reports (pulling data directly from our accounting system) to combine or consolidate data that our accounting system's canned reports can't easily provide. Sometimes we just need a quick look across all of our companies, and can easily create an ad-hoc report. There are also templates available to get started, that can then be tweaked to meet the desired need.
What do you dislike?
On occasion the refresh may be a little slower than I'd like, but that is probably my own impatience, and the fact that our accounting server resides at a third-party site.
Recommendations to others considering the product
We currently are consider the BizBroadcast feature that would help a lot with report distributions, probably saving a day's worth of work each month.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We're using BizInsight for the majority of our financial reporting to stakeholders and upper management. We're also using it in forecasting, and our budgeting process.
