The POSmart foundation gives companies the ability to leverage all the data sources available to them. We were able to integrate point of sale data with our internal shipments. We also integrated syndicated data. For years we had problems because POS and syndicated data do not align well. POSmart aligned all the various POS feeds along with our internal master data. It also helped us look at cross retailer sales in addition to still providing the retail teams with the full access to detailed information they were permitted to have access to. The security built in to POSmart helped ensure data from one retailer would not be seen by another. The BlueSky user interface is excellent. It's both easy to use as well as powerful. I highly recommend the POSmart foundation. Also the Relational Solutions team is top notch! There is no doubt they are the best in the business!
What do you dislike?
It would be nice if they had more international presence. They have a lot of great technology partners. I understand they are partnering with Mindtree to support their solution across the world. Once this is fully in play we will be rolling out the solution to emerging markets.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We were spending days trying to create reports. We were dealing with POS data that had inconsistent data formats, varying data elements, different week end dates, padded UPC digits, missing data, recast data and a slew of other point of sale data issues. On top of that we were trying to align POS with internal master data and syndicated data. It was a nightmare. POSmart fixed that.
