BrightPod has most of the key features you're going to look for in a project management tool to take care of all the tasks and responsibilities that come up in your common projects with clients. Price isn't too bad to put a dent in your monthly income either.
I really wish it had some time tracking available within the lower priced tier. That's one of the things that's commonly missing from the lower tier PM apps. So, it's kind of expected.
As with any app, take advantage of the trial periods and poke around in there with the areas you think you'll use most. I've yet to find an app that has given me everything I've needed, so don't expect it. Find out the things it does well and determine your options for getting the other items taken care of through other methods or apps.
Just about any type of application or service you can put in place that makes it easier for you to stay in touch with clients and colleagues on a project is going to pay off for you. Keeping track of all the little strings that need to get pulled on a project at different times gets pretty crazy. Having an option like BrightPod available where you're not having to recreate lists to share with each different party as needed is a really time saver.
Task management and card style made it easy to see individual items. Task assigning is simple on the platform as well.
Unfortunately, the cost. It's a bit pricey for small businesses when there are other free software solutions out there.
Additionally, the ability to have a to-do task list made it difficult for our Marketing team to stay on top of certain tasks and reminders.
There was also no mobile app version which made making changes away from the computer much more difficult.
Customer service is excellent. They always welcomed feedback and implemented changes that we recommended. It really is a slightly more advanced version of Trello but unfortunately, the cost difference between the two are too great for small businesses.
Brightpod provided a solution to our content creation problems. We were able to see our client accounts in an overview format and work on items that needed to be completed.
I liked that it was easy to use and ability to talk to other colleagues in the platform was simple and straightforward. I also did like the many colors you can pick to differentiate each client so that we all had a clear understanding of each project. Sometimes things can get messy and we might skip over a few things, but this helps a lot!
There really wasn't much I didn't like about it, our company just decided to go with another platform instead.
It's easy to use, you can also nudge your colleagues in case they forgot a certain task.

I am not a fan of seeing others tasks as well as mine. On other project management systems I only see mine but seeing everyone else on my team clouds my screen.
You can send and receive messages in Brightpod which i can't do in other systems. That is a nice feature.
