Aren't Dinosaurs extinct?

What do you like best?

I love that you can easily test (A/B and Champion/Challenger) email messages; you can stop an email deployment; and there are no mysteries when using exclusions (I've had issues with other EMS...). I also love being able to speak with their support team via the chat feature.

What do you dislike?

It would be great to see all assets for an email campaign in one place - especially because we continuously run into list capacity issues. It would be easier to delete old assets - this includes the media library. I wish there was not a limit for hosting images, but I understand why.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This was intuitive and easy to learn. It is great for sending a high volume of emails - especially to large lists.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

Marketing automation and segmentations are the future/now -- I think Bronto could improve in this area. I definitely appreciate the ability to integrate our other systems with Bronto. We currently use 2 different EMSs because neither has the full functionality we are looking for (and it's still not enough!).

Overall a very strong ESP

What do you like best?

The layout is very user-friendly and straight forward, but is also feature rich. This simplicity makes Bronto fantastic for companies who have only one or two email specialists and someone less familiar with emails has to cover temporarily on occasion. Bronto comes ready for the casual-coder with a WYSIWYG and simple navigation.

At the same time, Bronto is not so watered-down that it is hardly worthwhile to those who are very familiar with email campaigns. There are many tools that cater to the full-time email specialist, such as advanced workflows.

What do you dislike?

The customer support can leave something to be desired. The availability of a live chat is great, but the knowledge and motivation of the support representatives is lacking at times. I would consider this an area of great concern for Bronto moving forward.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Give it a try. The price-point is lower than many competing products, and the simple yet feature-rich application is great for a wide range of companies.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

Automated workflows and conversion tracking are both far more easily attainable with Bronto than they are with Lyris. Recurring campaigns and remails have also led to increased email revenue with Bronto.

Fantastic Features for Automation, A/B Testing and Social Integration

What do you like best?

Bronto is an excellent email marketing platform, complete with extensive options for A/B testing, integrating social posts, workflow setup/triggered responses and segmentation. Easy to use interface, and great customer support. Attended a Bronto Summit and was very pleased with how welcoming the whole team was and how informative all of their classes were.

What do you dislike?

Very expensive. Also, the reporting tools aren't bad, they just don't always format correctly.

- Great platform with a lot of different options

- Fantastic customer service

- Easy to use

- Always adding new features

Changed to Bronto after using a smaller, less easy to use email marketing platform. Bronto is much easier to work with and offers the user much more feedback and information that can help accelerate a business's email marketing channel.

Why Trust Bronto?

What do you like best?

The platform is excellent for those looking grow their sales as well as create more efficiency. Email has become a major portion of our online sales and engagement. A lot of features to create high level email strategies and automation like transactional emails, birthday emails, gift cards, VIP, segmentation and so much more on a basic and advanced level. Using the API allows us to accomplish a lot of the said strategies. Having used other services I can say this with confidence that Bronto has all you need. It has become a major part of our overall marketing strategy as we integrate all of what we do.

What do you dislike?

Not much except it takes time and some expertise to plan and set up the higher level strategies. Nothing that can't be figured out or handled.

Some activities and tasks may require a call to support or account team. We record all our email stats in a separate excel spreadsheet as the report features may be difficult to use. Would like to see a bit more on the alerts if there is something wrong with data but we monitor it ourselves.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Consider the expert services of using the platform VS. other providers. You will find more tools and data as well as expert services internally to guide you. When you want to grow sales, engage with customers and show ROI then Bronto is your software. Purchasing a support/strategy package as this will come in handy.

Great email platform for a mid-market company that wants readily available support

What do you like best?

The best part of Bronto is certainly the value you get for the price. We had a pretty small budget with a large email volume and wanted to get the most we could for our money. Bronto was a great fit.

What do you dislike?

There are a few areas that I would like to see improvement upon. The first is the limitation of 100 fields. This seems like it would be plenty, but when you start to create dynamic emails, it just isn't enough. The Bronto model is a one tier database so you can not make any relationships that would allow you a one to many relationship with a table like "Trade Shows Attended". I would like to see that feature in the future. Fortunately, Bronto is adding new features all the time!

Recommendations to others considering the product

Bronto has fantastic on page help menus that guide you through your questions. If that isn't enough (although most of the time it is) there is click to chat that is available during all of my working hours. They can always answer my questions and I don't have to wait! Also, the platform is easy to use and easy to give to business owners so they can report on emails.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

The problem we started with was an old install of Lyris which had a limit of email addresses that we kept supassing. We had to do all of our own coordination with the ISPs if we had any kind of blacklist or ban issue. We wanted to focus on the marketing message and spend less time figuring out how to manage our lists and ISPs.
