What do you like best?
The construction company I'm involved with loves the sub-contractor management piece that allows us to easily communicate with our subs and put projects out to bid easily and collect and compare bids seamlessly.
We are trying to dive deeper into the customer communication piece, especially for change orders. If we can nail down how best to use this it will save us/ make us more money.
Love the selections aspect. It takes a lot of upfront work and staying on top of selections. Once we got it all figured out it has been great
Lastly we rely on the calendaring aspect and really love how it works and ties into the other sections we use of the software.
What do you dislike?
There is a lot to this software, so we probably only use a third of it. Some minor UI aspects bother us, but nothing too bad. Leads section is lacking. Also we don't love the payment model (annual job starts), we almost went with a competitor solely for this reason
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Lack of organization, communication, and collaboration between the different pieces of our business (us, vendors, and clients). Getting past the learning curve was LONG and some of our guys struggled but the benefits have been great and we have more insight and are more efficient. Also I am not involved in the day to day of this construction company (used to be and am now on the board) but it allows me to get a macro view of what the entire company is doing and then drill down to what I want to see
