"Very user friendly"

What do you like best?

Very easy to use and not at all time intensive especially if you're only using basic features. Doesn't take a lot of effort to understand built.io. I built an entire feature in less than a day. Another great thing about built.io is that all of your data can be synced with ease cross all your platforms. Any help you ever need can be routed through built.io's amazing customer service!

What do you dislike?

For non basic feature implementation the process maybe be a bit more time intensive. Built.io doesn't lend way for more complex functionality. This is especially true since, the tutorials are lacking when it comes to more intricate features. There is ton's of documentation available, however, it is difficult to navigate through

Recommendations to others considering the product

I believe for larger scale companies and features, Salesforce is a better route to take.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This option is wonderful for us since we only use basic built.io functionality.

"Use the built.io for couple project jobs, very good experience"

What do you like best?

Easy to start. Cool dashboard design which shows the data flow very clearly. Very easy and straight forward to Implement the messages and notifications cross the different Social medias.

What do you dislike?

No really found so far. Will continue to add more features in current project, like file upload and transfer. Only one thing, I am using web browser based built.io right now. Can have standalone (off-line) built.io, which I can use or continue to work on project when I do not have Ethernet connection?

Recommendations to others considering the product

Very to start. If like to implement similar project in short term and you do not have much experience in other Apps. Try this first.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The project, which used to set some notifications cross different platforms when some thing happen. Easy and good to use this to achieve the job in short term.

"This is really quick idea to app - great for working prototypes as well"

What do you like best?

I love that built.io comes with so many plugins/packages that it becomes easy to start building the app. Otherwise I would have to search for the packages, libraries and just the environment setup would take a lot of time.

What do you dislike?

I think 3rd party app integration capabilities could be expanded a little further (maybe alreayd in the roadmap). Heroku CLI, toolkit support would be greatly beneficial as well, because you're already supporting AWS (which heroku is hosted on anyway)

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Me and my friends have used built.io backend quite a bit to build working mobile prototypes interfacing with Salesforce API. It's really valuable to have the idea up and running quickly as opposed to getting stuck on the

"Good product for building mobile apps."

What do you like best?

I like the out of the box integrations with many software and apps. The simple workflows with drag and drop options are easy to use. It has a clean and simple UI to navigate various features and functions. Love the dashboard design of the project page and everything looks colorful and updated.

What do you dislike?

The system feels a little slow at peak hours and takes the website a few seconds to load. Other than that not much else so for.

Try it out, it's one of many solutions in the space and definitely there to compete and innovate.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Good solution"

What do you like best?

This solution is an ideal option for those companies that want to create system within a short timeframe. It is very convenient to use especially when your features stick to its basic functionality. Everything is very easy to use and can be understood without long investigations.

What do you dislike?

As every standardized solution, this one also has typical disadvantages. The most obvious one is lack of flexibility, which results in longer implementation of non-standard features. You save time for most features, but you have to invest extra efforts in some minor features

Recommendations to others considering the product

This solution is easy to try. If you are building simple similar systems, I would recommend to try this an option.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We create a lot of typical simple solutions which are customized for end clients. Short time to market is our main priority. This system is a great option for us.

"This Product enable me to build my app in record time!"

What do you like best?

Built.io allows you to focus on making your app and designing a unique product, while not worrying about writing server-side code and allows you to implement features like push notifications much easier. It also allows all of your data to be synced across different platforms in real time. The team is extremely friendly and helpful if you have any questions or trouble. Also nice to know Built.io is specialized for enterprise (which was our business) so its nice to know our data is safe in their hands.

What do you dislike?

Built.io lacks sufficient tutorials or sample code for some features. This makes it difficult to implement some more advanced features without the proper direction.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Don't be afraid to reach out to the awesome team at Built.io for help and support!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were solving the aspect of allowing shipping companies to communicate with drivers in real time. Built.io allowed our web application to efficiently communicate with the mobile application. Built.io allowed us to prototype efficiently and bring our strategy to market extremely fast. Not having to learn some of the complicated backend stuff allowed us to focus on creating the best user experience possible.

"Great Cloud Solution"

What do you like best?

This product is very user-friendly compared to competing products. The seamless integration across all other cloud-based products is very easy to set up and makes data synchronization a breeze.

What do you dislike?

The training and tutorials are the most in depth. Makes for more complex features of the solution a bit harder to get down.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you ask all the questions up front on customization and features. The training and tutorials aren't the most helpful.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This helps us customize small things for our clients and I have seen a lot of success from everyone on the team.

"Built.io enabled me to focus on what is important, while taking care of all the hard work for me."

What do you like best?

Built.io was very easy to get up and running quickly. It took days to create a fully functioning backend for my mobile application, whereas it could have taken weeks if I were to built this from the ground up. I like that they are enterprise focused because, as a builder of an enterprise application, I know they have my primary concerns in mind (e.g. scalability, security, etc). I had a very positive experience with their customer support team as well.

What do you dislike?

In the beginning it was tough at times to look through there documentation, but they have been been adding to the documentation since I started using them to provide useful tutorials to users. There support team was also very responsive to my questions.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am solving the problem of antiquated software in the outdated freight industry. I have realized the benefits of modern technological solutions like built.io and mobile applications to help solve this problem.

"Aggregation as a service"

What do you like best?

The product helps you to aggregate a handful of different tasks you're going to do anyway. If you need something to help you spin up fast, this would be a good option.

What do you dislike?

If you need more control over each step or have a specific amount of customization you'd like to use, there are other piece-meal options available

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

You can automate workflows, but it requires migration of the technology stack
