My Second Half

What do you like best?

- it streamlines everything creating efficiency

- reports feature allows you to compare your performance to others

- mass emailing

- tearsheets

What do you dislike?

I feel that the candidate search feature sometimes misses keywords in my boolean or does not spit out the best results

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Personally it has improved my workflow substantially especially since i came from a shop that had no tracking system and relied solely on emailing the submissions to account managers which obviously created a logistical nightmare resulting in employee disengagement, lower moral and infighting.

Bullhorn took care of this because it has everything a shop needs to keep track of who is submitting to whom, which candidates are owned, who reached out first, who submitted when, what rate, etc... it really encapsulates all the features a recruiter needs to succeed versus internal and external competition.

Bullhorn- Staffing and Bullhorn go hand in hand

What do you like best?

We have been a Bullhorn Customer for over 7.5 years. Our business has grown over that time as has Bullhorn as a company. They took the feedback from their customers to make a better product and they have continued to build upon this every month with new features and functions. Not every new feature will change your business but there is usually 1 or more every month that you will use. Some are ground breaking and others just enhance the existing offering.

What do you dislike?

The product is great and I would encourage trying to use as much of the technology through configuration versus customized automations. The more customization- the more opportunities for failure in the system. We have some great automations built in but we could probably live without some of them and remove some issues.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Understand your own process and try to utilize as much of the configuration without customizing. Your project manager for your team should be in house as there are countless free hours of training you learn through implementation that help you administer the tool down the road.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are trying to reach our candidates as quickly as possible to meet the needs of our clients in the most efficient way. Our team is North American with many national clients. We need to keep the teams up to date on what is going on with roles, clients and candidates. Bullhorn has helped is solidify a process to manage this process.

Bullhorn ATS Review- GF

What do you like best?

Bullhorn makes it really easy to parse in new candidates and client information, all without tedious external options. With the new features like planner and tasks, it's easy to stay-up-to-date with communication efforts and events.

What do you dislike?

The software is a little clunkly, and although it's a newer version, it seems a bit outdated. While the platform is web-based, it fails to run smoothly through a mobile platform, and often times, the loading times are a little sluggish.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would test out multiple ATS and see which work best for you. If you are comfortable using GMAIL as your email platform, than Bullhorn is most likely your best option. Bullhorn makes it really easy to parse in new candidates and client information, all without tedious external options.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Recording necessary information to ensure that all previous phone calls, notes, emails, are safely and accurately reported for future reference. It makes all future candidates much easier to screen. With the new laws set to take place, regarding salary history, Bullhorn makes it easier to negotiate for proper salary offers.

Best Staffing and recruiting software I've seen

What do you like best?

Organization is key. All of your contacts and companies are saved in customizable "favorites." Call lists can be easily created using the handy "tearsheet" feature too.

What do you dislike?

We use it in a sales capacity along with our recruiters. It is limited for sales professionals because Bullhorn CRM is the sales counterpart, so having to use staffing and recruiting software does compare to jamming a square peg on a round hole at times.

If you're company focuses on staffing and building relationships with other organizations to help them meet their recruiting needs, Bullhorn Staffing Recruiting and Bullhorn CRM go hand in hand to provide a cohesive, full service tool for all of your teams staffing needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bullhorn solves the problem of forgetting past candidates that may fit a future job. Storing candidates files allows you to search key words when a new job needs to be filled, and a previous candidate that didn't get hired for a previous job might fit the bill, and bullhorn makes them readily accessible using a quick keyword search

Bullhorn has great partnerships!

What do you like best?

What I love most about Bullhorn is not only the easy interface but also their partnership with vendors. They have a marketplace that allows you find so many great tools to help your business and they all integrate with Bullhorn!

What do you dislike?

They have some things that are hard coded that I wish we could change. Also, they tend to tell customers about new features and give a date that it will be live but it usually takes longer than expected. For example, they said the new version would be rolled out in July and when I spoke to them about when we would be getting it they said it would be closer to December.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our company lives in Bullhorn. It is where we can see all our employee activity and keep track of our candidates and clients.

What do you like best?

I like the ability to build and share tearsheets, as well as the ease to sift through old jobs. Their candidate search is also quite easy to specify. You can really narrow down searches quite easily based on previous submissions, previous jobs, titles, etc.

What do you dislike?

It could have a sleeker look to it, seems a bit old/outdated. I would also like it to have a bit of an easier function to keep track of candidates that I have worked with or want to continue to work with. I use tearsheets so often that it does not seem like the right way to go about it.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I have never used another ATS, but from what I have been told this is the easiest and most effective out there.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It is our go to tool for full candidate and job ownership life-cycle. We are using it as an ATS, a collaboration tool, and process management.
