What do you like best?
The scanner itself is one of the strongest out there. It had the fewest number of card-reading errors in a test of more than 10 comparable products. The app is easy enough to use, though it can require a bit of reference to the documentation for folks who aren't technology native. It's nice that its' easy to send contacts to others via email but it'd be better if the app allowed for a friend list where you could push contacts without an external email.
What do you dislike?
The web platform where contacts are hosted only allows you to export every contact you have, not just the new ones. This makes updating a CRM like salesforce with the export quite difficult. It would be preferable if the app allowed you to export by group or other variable instead of only as one huge data package.
The app could benefit from some more social features.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Everyone who you want to use this app must have a baseline willingness to learn something new. The app is simple to use for someone with a background in technology or a native techy like many of your millennials are likely to be. But we've found that folks without a strong tech background struggle with the user interface. The web platform also requires clean-up before exporting. While the scans are better than most comparable products, they aren't perfect and you'll need users to do a manual review before using your collected data.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our team uses this for post-conference follow up. We group the business cards collected at an event or conference and upload in bulk to our CRM for simple follow-up messaging. We also use the contact email send feature to contacts from other regions to the respective regional sales team members.
