Great way to manage email campaigns

What do you like best?

It's very user friendly, simple to use and keeps all data well organized.

Creating a campaign is easy, emails look beautiful and there is a lot of room for creativity. The preset templates have many different options for custom designs. The option of using HTML code in the formatting is very helpful.

Another great feature is the option to send a split test to see how people react to different subjects or senders.

Lists of subscribers are easy segment for better targeting, including the option of creating a segment for people who have/have not opened the email or clicked/not clicked a link. The pre-set ways to help ypu get more subscribers are very helpful - creating a custom subscribe for for a web-site or facebook for example.

Before sending a campaign there is a check on duplicates so if one person is in more that one list, they would get the email only once - and you pay once.

What do you dislike?

List of any sort - subscribers, sent campaigns - are somewhat difficult to navigate because they can't show more than 100 per page and there is no search in terms of lists or campaigns.

Reports on campaigns only have data on individual subscribers - if the campaign was sent to more that one list, there is no way to see which list had a better response rate.

So far I have not found a way of comparing full results of two campaigns side by side beside the basic data listed in the Overview section.

Read through all the payment options to see which one suits your need better. Don't hesitate to contact Support - they are very quick to reply and very helpful.

Hands Down, Best Email Marketing Tool for SMBs

What do you like best?

I love that brand control, analytics, and even a small amount of automation are all built into the tool. The in-app template builder enables even non-designers to plug in key visual elements to convey their message, while the analytics built into the tool are both easy to understand and robust enough that one can gain actionable insights. The ability to add multiple types of sign-up forms, automatically bucket new subscribers according to your own criteria, and trigger auto-replies is all very cool stuff.

On a final note: CM has some of the best customer support I have ever encountered. Their techs go above and beyond to help solve whatever problem you are facing.

What do you dislike?

As the platform evolves, there are occasionally features I'll encounter that I wish were included--but that haven't yet been built. Typically these features are for much more advanced functionality, in which case my requests go into the tally that others have started.

On the flipside, every bit of functionality that 99.5% of CM users will want is there.

Look at the pricing model and consider what makes sense for your own marketing plan.

Excellent email marketing platform for designers

What do you like best?

Great user interface, quick learning curve for any user.

What do you dislike?

Pricing: initial $5 per campaign in Pay per Campaign plan;

Not as many integration options, compared to another platform, with other systems that we regularly use.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

Email marketing solution for clients and team members who are less familiar with web UX but requires reliable delivery.

Great product and even better customer service.

What do you like best?

The platform is easy to pick up from navigation to the email template builder. Great customer service combines to make this product a must for anyone engaging in email marketing that does not require massively complex data manipulations.

What do you dislike?

Although the template builder is great it would be nice to have a little more flexibility.

It's quick to pick up and there are plenty of support pages. And if the answer to your question isn't in the support pages, the support team are quick and detailed in their response.

Easy to use - reliable - good Salesforce integration

What do you like best?

Monthly or Pay as you go option available so no tie ins. Very intuitive to use. Quick and easy to create and send emails. Good templates. Automatically send tracking statistics into Salesforce. Tracking information is clear and comprehensive. Integration into Salesforce (via 3rd party connector) is straight-forward and effective.

What do you dislike?

Monthly pricing option is based on both number of subscribers and number of emails sent per month which can be a little confusing.

Recommendations to others considering the product

You will need to an estimate of the number of subscribers you expect to email each month, and the total number of email you will send in order to see the cost.
