What do you like best?
This is a great product that does what is says it does--allows the end user to create marketing documents that are exactly as the original designer intended. I describe it as "Vista Print for our internal users in the company."
What do you dislike?
It is a very powerful system and I think large companies with a lot of users will need to have someone on staff dedicated (at least for a while) to this to ensure it is rolled out and maintained properly. The templates are very versatile but a bit daunting to set up. To me, it is very difficult to assign assets to a particular template. I feel like that could be made easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Weigh the costs of the system along with the costs of your time in setting it up against just having a designer take requests from people and make things. There are pros and cons to both sides and it will depend on the company size as well.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
When we fully roll out, this will enable our end users to customize flyers and post cards for marketing without submitting a formal design request--they can do it themselves!
