"Disastrous! "

What do you like best?

There isn't much to brag about! I really feel badly for Office Managers who get stuck with this outdated system.

What do you dislike?

From the beginning of our professional relationship with Care Cloud it was clear that Camp Lowell was sold a product that does not meet the specifications promised to us when the decision was made to convert to your system. Care Cloud is not capable of working for an office like ours.

Camp Lowell Staff was never told that Care Cloud has a very out dated platform called Adobe Flash, and because the whole Care Cloud software system is run off this antiquated platform we were never able to establish the appropriate work flow. After numerous calls with Care Cloud executives assuring us that this problem would be fixed, and that Care Cloud was currently using their “updated” system at “a few beta locations’ It became clear that we were flat out being lied to! Come to find out Care Cloud wouldn’t even have this new software/platform ready until sometime in 2020 and that NO beta sites currently exist!

Our office has suffered a huge setback because of Care Cloud, we have spent countless hours trying to manage this system. We are unable to send correspondence to our referring providers because your system doesn’t have the capabilities we were promised. This was the number one question we had when researching our options with Care Cloud and other EMR Companies. Hunter stated that sending and creating letters would work perfectly with your system. We have tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue because we are only able to see half the patients we normally see in a day. I have had to pay thousands of dollars in overtime to employees to manually add all medications lists, family history, problems list and more. We paid your company $16,250.00 to do a conversion that took all the patient information from Athena and dumped it in one location in Care Cloud! Sharon Palacios, one of your enrollment coordinators did not set up our ERA correctly, so my biller has had to find and print all the remits and post them manually! Again, countless hours of overtime. We have never been able to send and receive prescriptions through Care Cloud. I have had to have my MA’s fax them by hand. The list of glitches goes on and on. There are cases created on October 16,2018 that are still there with absolutely zero resolution! My mid-levels are unable to co-sign and if we use the work around then the mid-levels are unable to send a prescription.

One of the most disturbing problems is we have been advised that there are very serious safety concerns around Adobe Flash being adequate to protect our very private information. Safety of our EHR is a major concern.

The above is just the short list of issues we have had with Care Cloud. You are no doubt aware that we have stopped using the clinical side of Care Cloud. We have contracted and are paying for services from another EMR provider. As per our conversations with Care Cloud executives, who assured us we would not have to pay for two EMR’s concurrently. We are fully expecting that you will honor those conversations. CLC will need access to our information in Care Cloud (that we have already paid for) for a few more months, after it is determined we have all the needed documentation and billing, we will go our separate ways.

Recommendations to others considering the product

RUN!!! They use an old platform called Adobe Flash! Terrible!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There have been zero benefits. They didn't even get us set up correctly!

"Carecloud Documentation "

What do you like best?

I like that this documentation platform is easily customizable and can be catered more specifically to each discipline that practices in the clinic. The prior platform we used was more medical based, in which there were a lot of extraneous options not pertinent to OT. Carecloud is

What do you dislike?

I really wish that there was a way to view a patients goals more easily instead of having to dive deep into their chart. Also, it would be super convenient to be able to personalize the order of disciplines that are displayed on the schedule as well as view more than 10 names at a time to be able to determine if a pt is a co-tx or not.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have just started utilizing CareCloud so there are a few things that we still need to tweak as we go along. The good thing is that it has been really easy customize thus far and very user friendly.

"Cloud-Based EHR & PM Software Good for Small Offices"

What do you like best?

I've been a user of CareCloud for almost six years. Its layout is intuitive, and it's easy to learn to use the system. It's helpful to have all of our practice in one software - scheduling, charting, billing is all in one place.

What do you dislike?

There are some glitches, like with any software, but they are constantly updating the software, which includes fixes to things that go wrong. The worst part of a cloud-based system is, if the internet is down, you can't access your data.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

All of our data is in one system and easily accessible by those who need to do so.

"CareCloud Practice Management"

What do you like best?

One of the best parts about CareCloud is that it is web-based rather than having to be installed locally on your computer(s). Since it is web-based it makes it easier to work while on the go, especially while traveling offsite. The interface is very organized and allows for fast navigation within the system. CareCloud is one of the few systems that has a clearinghouse built into the software itself, which is a nice feature and allows practices to save additional month on having to purchase and pay month to month for a clearinghouse subscription. I really like the patient demographic interface, it provides all the necessary fields you would expect and allows you to easily attach scanned in documentation such as insurance card, IDs, and other important documentation. Their account ledger and summary screen layout makes it a breeze to manage outstanding claims, patient balances, and statements. Whenever claims fail electronic submission and are rejected by the receiving payers, they are dropped into an electronic queue that require manual review to ensure rejections are given the attention they require for resolution and resubmission, which saves time compared to other practice management systems where this is more of a manual process.

What do you dislike?

It is nice that CareCloud offers their own built in clearing house however it is nowhere near the level of functionality as other third party software such as Zirmed or Waystar. I am not sure why, but the clearing house does not have the ability to electronically submit claims for workers compensation or motor vehicle insurance carriers resulting in these claims having to be dropped to paper and submitted through snail mail; this increase our days to pay on claims resulting in delayed revenue. The account ledger's layout is formatted in a way that there much be a separate line for each procedure and it's associated charge and does not allow you to simply select a claim or encounter by the date of service and it will not simply add up the charges of transactions in the ledger requiring you to manually do the math to identify the claims.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are in the market for a new practice management system, CareCloud can be an excellent choice, but make sure you complete your due diligence before selecting CareCloud as their clearinghouse is not the best in the market and seeing as the process of submitting cleans claims is the foundation to consistent revenue, its important to take your time and make sure this system will meet your needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using CareCloud to manage one of our clients with multiple practices in the outpatient facility industry. Carecloud allows us to manage their revenue cycle, full circle, from service to payment. We are able to save money on the backend by utilizing their built in clearing house to track and submit electronic claims to insurance carriers. CareCloud has a fairly robust reporting system that allows us to populate our end of month reports and keep a close eye on our clients revenue and provide them a high level overview on a consistent basis.

"Sorta-Clunky EMR Webapp"

What do you like best?

The ICD-10 search is very good. Overall layout of patient encounters is logical. Allows for writing templates for quick charting. Clean and simple.

What do you dislike?

Feels clunky and difficult to navigate patient charts and encounters. After a while you get used to it but can still encounter hiccups now and again. Wish it could link to prior encounters in a more clear/obvious way.

The feature of ordering prescriptions did not function properly and was impractical for clinical workflow.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Works well in small offices with low overhead. Not the most time-efficient until you get your templates made.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use this program to chart patient encounters to full-detail, coordinate schedules with my office staff, and to plan patient care. It is a necessary tool in today's practice. One of many varieties available.

"Decent platform but could use work"

What do you like best?

From what my boss said it was way more affordable than the other platform we were using previously.

What do you dislike?

Way too much clicking to input one thing to the next. Interface should definitely flow better and eliminate the need to have to constantly click.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Get used to a ton of clicking.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It is aesthetically pleasing, and fairly easy to maneuver through( other than constant click click clicking) for the most part user friendly
