What do you like best?
I love having all of our reviews across all platforms and properties together in one space and I also enjoy the different sentiment reporting capabilities as well! We also measure ourselves against comps and the tool Chatmeter provides has again saved us from monthly manual entries.
What do you dislike?
One of the only (major) items Chatmeter is lacking is social capabilities. They are not a Facebook partner so they are unable to bring in certain information like private messages, analytics, and Instagram features. I would love to see those items be implemented to really top off what Chatmeter offers. I also think they have room to improve on permission levels and approval gateways for review responses.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Don't look to Chatmeter as a Social Management tool first. Look to Chatmeter as a Reputation Management platform first and a social tool second. We have been using Chatmeter for under a year but have already seen progressive movement towards more social capabilities but also more in-depth reporting and listings management tools.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Bringing everything together under one roof is a huge benefit. Before reporting was done manually and often times was extremely tedious and had user errors. This goes the same for social posting and listening. Although I feel Chatmeter is lacking in some social areas, it does offer bulk posting, a master content calendar and some social listening tools which is great!
