"A specific and useful tool"

What do you like best?

If ever anyone wants or needs to check their website's accessibility for persons with any level of blindness or visual impairment, or instantly check mouseless/keyboard tab navigability, this extension is the exact tool to use. It's quick, and it's uncomplicated. It does exactly what it should, nothing more and nothing less.

What do you dislike?

The only minor weakness of the extension is just that it's only intuitive to access if you are already familiar with using Google Chrome developer tools, where it sits after install. The icon in the top right corner of the Chrome window doesn't have an option for actually opening the tool! I had to check other reviews to learn how to open it. In the end, that's a very minor issue.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Press "Ctrl + Shift + I" to access the extension in Chrome.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ChromeLens will literally open your eyes to how clients and potential clients are seeing/accessing (or not seeing/accessing) your site, allowing you to find areas for improvement with ease.

"Great accessibility tool for consumers and developers"

What do you like best?

Ability to view webpages as a person with varying degrees and types of blindness

What do you dislike?

Lack of metrics for full, mild, medium, and serious blindness levels, in terms of a site's level of accessibility.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Given the recent lawsuit by a user of the Beyonce Parkwood Entertainment site due to lack of accessibility to blind users, this should be a hot topic for web developers. ChromeLens helps folks with fully-functioning eyesight assess their performance from the perspective of several different sight-deficiencies.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Help ensure that our organizations website, which is a health-related site, is broadly accessible.

"A great way to check on your website's accesibility"

What do you like best?

It's extremely easy to donloawd and apply. You just need to visit the Chrome WebStore, search Chrome Lens and apply the extension to your Chrome web browser.

What do you dislike?

The fact that there are many other impairments that can be covered other than visual, which are the only ones that have their own functions.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would definitely encourage you to try it and see how well your website is developed in terms of accesibility. People will always thank you for that.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're using it to check accesibility in our company's website and see how it is seen by people who suffer from different impairments, specially visual. It's a good tool to include those people and to expand your customer base.

"A New Perspective for Web Browsing "

What do you like best?

This Chrome extension allows you to experience the world through a new lens, as the name states. You're able to look at the web pages as if you were colorblind and how a screen reader would work for someone who is blind, which makes you change perspectives on the world around you and how people perceive images.

What do you dislike?

It is not actually fully functional, it took many trials to even get it to work.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Adding more features, creating updates, marketing this more for companies to utilize or consider. Doesn't work so need to fix bugs/issues.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It hasn't personally solves any business problems but I can see how a company might change their website layout to be more inclusive or socially aware.
