What do you like best?

The web based ability to work on Incidents and Requests is crucial for our process. We have customized the portal look and feel to match managements expectations and I am currently working on finding funding to purchase the full Analyst portal.

What do you dislike?

We have found methods to allow our supervisors to view unassigned tickets but the procedures are currently changed by the Cireson jobs in the database. We are currently experiencing issues with the portal but have used in for over a year. I have shown the errors related to the portal in the image below.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Ensure that you have everything setup to meet your needs before moving to production. Changes can have wide reaching impact not expected.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed an advanced Self Service Portal for our end users. This gave us that plus the ability to work on items through the web based portal.

Cireson User/Analyst Portal

What do you like best?

It is very user friendly, my analyst really like it after using it for only two or three days. It is much faster than using the SCSM Console.

What do you dislike?

As the Administrator I would like to see the Dashboard/Reporting features improved. The Dashboards are already very easy to create and look good but still need some improvement.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It makes a world of difference for the analyst.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am able to get real time reporting out much easier. The executives like that we are not a week behind on the numbers.

Cireson - great solution for IT Service Management

What do you like best?

The ability to adapt the Analyst portal to the needs of IT, Knowledgebase Management for Analysts and endusers, one website appearance for endusers as well as analysts, useful for decentralized IT Organizations

What do you dislike?

Cireson Reporting, no customizations for Advanced Request offering possible, Cireson AD connector would avoid sync problems,

If SCSM has already been implemented, it's very easy to switch over to the Cireson Analyst portal, and always stay in touch with the Cireson Community, there are many useful discussions available

Cireson Portal Review from Pilot Testing

What do you like best?

The minimalist UI and perfect scaling per-device makes this portal amazing. While the HTML5 portal from MSFT has some of the nice functionality, it is by no means mobile friendly. The Cireson portal shines in that category. *Based on a 4 week pilot test*

The setup is a bit more complex than the standard SCSM portal. Extra service accounts to manage is a bit of a downfall. *Based on a 4 week pilot test*

We needed a cross-platform solution for the portal that no dependence on Silverlight. Once Silverlight was removed, there was still a need for a mobile-friendly portal. The Cireson portal encompassed both needs. *Based on a 4 week pilot test*

-Ability to customize

-Easy to navigate

-Intuitive for the user

What do you dislike?

-upgrading the portal wiped out out of the box customizations

-faster resolution of incidents

-incidents identified easier as users prefer to use the portal (fast, easy)

-streamlined service request process for procurement (allow users to ask for what they want, in a neat way).

Not possible to profileze the knowledge and ticket refresh
