"Guidewire Claimcentre works best for the Claims Administration"

What do you like best?

Easy to use Guidewire Claimcenter functionality to process claims .

Security features of Guidewire Claimcenter works best when there are hundreds of users using the Guidewire application.

Reporting functionality in Guidewire provides is very handy when you want to generate reports realtime and with very less development effort involved.

Integration of Guidewire with the other third party vendors is very effective .

Integrations with other Broker application.

Security of the data in the application.

What do you dislike?

Configuration of Guidewire Claimcenter needs very specialised skills in Gosu language.

Claimcenter Data model is not very easy to absorb when it comes to Migrating existing data in Guidewire.

Claimcenter support very limited relation databases like Microsoft SQL server , Oracle etc . .

Workers comp claims administration is not very streamlined in claim center.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Guidewire Claimcenter works best for the Property and Casualty and especially Workers Comp claims.

Claimcenter is expensive but streamlined the claims processing to very high extent.

Using Guidewire for the Property and Claims administration.

Workers Comp claims administration is very useful in Guidewire Claimcenter.

Claims processing is efficient and there is time and money savings using claims center.

Application downtime in claims centre is reduced.

ClaimCenter provides efficiencies in handling insurance claims and through its intuitive interface reduces clicks and processing time for documentation and financial transactions.

What do you like best?

ClaimCenter is highly customizable and easily integrated with our peripheral systems.

What do you dislike?

The assignment and workload balancing tool are ineffective and unreliable.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Build a comprehensive assignment logic tool that would allow us to effectively balance workload across various departments and associates.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ClaimCenter allowed us to go from operating in 4 different claims systems down to one. The cost savings of not having to maintain multiple systems was huge.

"Intuitive Robust Claims Management Software"

What do you like best?

Claim Center is very easy to use and intuitive. It is very easy to onboard a new associate with this platform. It also has very robust data collection capabilities and is highly customizable for differing business needs. Claim Center is also available in several languages.

What do you dislike?

Development can sometimes take time and the system needs to be built out in order for it to reach its full potential.

"GW CC - A highly customizable Claims Experience"

What do you like best?

* Ability to customize a lot of the out of the box features to fit our needs

* Ease of use

* Recent standardization with 9.0 that brings Policy Center, Billing Center and Claims Center under a singular architecture.

What do you dislike?

* Need more out of the box integrations with common vendors that insurance companies interact with

* Replaced an age old Claims system with Claims Center.

* We are currently upgrading from 6.0 to 9.0

"Property Adjuster Experience"

What do you like best?

I liked the emailing function the best - being able to send directly from the system and have them logged in the file.

What do you dislike?

From a reporting perspective, the batching of data in the system became an issue when I moved to the administrative side of claims.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Very easy to use system for those not very comfortable utilizing a computer. Better than previous claims system the company had utilized previously.

"Guidewire is a Godsend"

What do you like best?

Guidewire makes the claims handling process so much simpler and smoother.

What do you dislike?

Takes a while to learn where all of the fields are. You have to set up parties correctly from the start of the claim or it could be a big fiasco when paying or closing.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Claims process handling. Less busy work and higher efficiency. Reduced costs.

Updates can slow speed and cause loading lag.

What do you like best?

Makes it easy to develop and modify base claim center code for an insurance companies' digital transformation.

What do you dislike?

Claim Center IDE: Normal IDE for code development. Lacks many features and plugins available in Eclipse.

Easy to search for claims, update reserves, and make payments.

What do you dislike?

No ability to export reports or search results besides contacting the company directly.

"Dependable software"

What do you like best?

It is very reliable and an industry standard. Everything works just the way I want it to.

What do you dislike?

I do not appreciate how slow it becomes when there are many users and/or the software ages.

Switching around claims. It is certainly helpful for this!

"Short and sweet"

What do you like best?

Navigating from page to page easily and without problems

What do you dislike?

Sometimes difficult to edit. Some pages have repetitive info

It is easy for people other than the adjuster to find info.
