"ClearPoint - Creating solutions for their clients"

What do you like best?

ClearPoint is a very user-friendly strategic planning solution with many capabilities. But just as important, the level of service the company delivers is just as important. From someone that is in a customer service industry, I expect and recognize service excellence. The ClearPoint team delivers just that. They are incredibly responsive, and truly take an interest in understanding the client's needs and goals. Their drive to help their clients succeed doesn't end with the initial onboarding with the software.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing that I dislike about ClearPoint Strategy software!

Our organization was searching for a strategic planning software that would give us the ability to customize to meet our needs, including reports, charts and graphs. ClearPoint Strategy has been that solution. Everything we have asked for, ClearPoint has been able to deliver.

"Great tool for tracking and reporting of your goals, initiatives and operational progress"

What do you like best?

Clearpoint is simple to use and yet has great capabilities. We have been able to easily train a number of non-technical staff to setup and maintain their information in Clearpoint. The ability to track the progress of your measures, align them in a variety of ways, and report via operational dashboards, strategic scorecards, etc. without the need to duplicate any data to do so. Automated loading of data from a variety of sources whether excel files or a SQL compliant ODBC data source makes maintenance and upkeep of the system a breeze once everything is set up. The ability to report the data out directly to your website simplifies transparency initiatives. The Clearpoint support team is one of the best in any industry. They are extremely knowledgeable and customer service focused. They always provide fast response and are eager to help.

What do you dislike?

Does most everything I ask of it. I do wish I could report different reporting frequencies in the same heatmap.

Clearpoint actively listens to customer feedback and looks at industry trends to continually improve the product. This is a tool that will keep growing and stay ahead of you and your needs.

We are able to keep the status of measures critical to our daily operations as well as our progress of our Strategic Plan easily updated and visible to all staff and stakeholders

"ClearPoint Cares About Your Success"

What do you like best?

Unquestionably the best part of ClearPoint are the people that work they and the way they have fostered a culture that is centered around providing an exceptional customer experience. The amount of help you receive from the ClearPoint for any minor issue is incredible. They will bend over backwards for you.

What do you dislike?

At times, the software itself can be slow or have bugs- but they always work rapidly to patch and fix any issues that the end user might have. They also go above and beyond to make sure that you are inconvenienced in the most minor way possible if there is ever an issue.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is an excellent product for an organization that is looking to enhance their organizational understanding of data and performance measurement, and how to align those items with strategy. For an organization that wants to take a major step in measuring their performance, this is a great tool that wont also down you like some of the other more intensive solutions.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use ClearPoint as a platform for our citywide performance scorecard program. This system has allowed us to develop a consistent approach to performance measurement, and has allowed our departments to measure what is most important to them in a way that is well organized and strategically aligned. ClearPoint gets our data out of the spreadsheets and into a space that helps us better facilitate data driven decision making.

"Extraordinary product with powerful features to customize data structure and reporting."

What do you like best?

Periodicity. The feature that allows to define the period of the reports and graphics. From this feature we have configured a "variable periodicity" where you define the intervals of period rather than change this interverval, which is previously associated to a name. The result provides a great flexibility to reports.

What do you dislike?

We have found in practice some issues related to the new version, specially in security and some minor issue in periodicity.

Powerful product. Excelent alligning with strategy management model from Kaplan & Norton. Excelent service support.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our strategy management process is fully driven with CPS, other process are Executive Scorecards and Corporate Risk Management.

"Visually appealing and easy to use."

What do you like best?

The wide array of resources that are instantly available, plus exceptional customer service/tech support.

What do you dislike?

It is sometimes necessary to go to several different screens to complete an update.

We are actively tracking key performance metrics and making the data available to our customers so they can know at a glimpse what we are doing and how we are doing it.

"Great software for providing strategic accountability"

What do you like best?

The customer support is the best I’ve experienced. They have a team of people who are really committed to great support.

What do you dislike?

On some user functions I wish it was a bit more intuitive to perform the actions.

"A decent system"

What do you like best?

How much customization is available to a user if they want to go that route. I also like having the ability to change the lay-outs and provide narrative explanations for data.

What do you dislike?

The data visualization is not the best. I think there are much more creative ways to display data and they are not available in ClearPoint.

Tracking data for population health measures to determine priority populations. Getting our data standardized and organized has been a huge improvement.

"Flexible platform and great customer service!"

What do you like best?

The platform has a good balance between flexibility and structure, it provides a basic structure to start with and a good degree of customization. It is also very easy to manage, and the data input is quite simple.

Finally another great virtue of ClearPoint Strategy is their customer service, always willing to help with a fast response time!

What do you dislike?

Initial setup might be hard for new customers with no previous experience using the platform.

The lack of an easy and fast option to restrict browser users to access certain parts of the plan.

Real time strategy management without manually compiling the data. The tool provides us a way to actively manage the strategy efficiently.

ClearPoint's customer service is outstanding.

We've had ClearPoint for about a year now and there's nothing we don't like. If there's something we can't do, ClearPoint will make it happen.

ClearPoint is a wonderful tool for performance management. And their customer service is outstanding.

We were searching for a web-based performance management tool for our local government. ClearPoint was the perfect choice and has not disappointed.

"Love Hate relationship"

What do you like best?

There are a ton of options of things you can use this software for.

What do you dislike?

It does so many things it is very overwhelming.

I would recommend before you get too deep into working with this you definitely get a support person to work with you. I used it for a year before getting quality training and it makes a huge difference.

"Planner"

What do you like best?

Being able to assign status indicators to our departments accomplishments.

What do you dislike?

There are some bugs, but ClearPoint swears they will fix in their next update.
