Great overall experience. Is a good product, solid roadmap and excellent support team

What do you like best?

ClickSoftware is a great product. Wide varieaty of out of the box features, and very configurable.

It has a solid roadmap. The new version (Edge) is a major upgrade and it solves some of the main disadvantages the product had.

The ClickSoftware support team is excellent.

What do you dislike?

In current version (8.3) the technology used in ClickSchedule is not optimal. It has Silverlight, so you have to use Internet Explorer to use ClickSchedule. Besides, Silverlight is an outdated solution.

This is already addressed in the newer version, but we are in the middle of the migration project

Recommendations to others considering the product

Do your own research. Be careful to select the implementor, as the implementation process is very important for the rest of the project.

Don't use customizations! Although ClickSoftware is a flexible producto, try to use only out of the box features and don't use customizations. We are currently in the middle of a migration project, and now we have to get rid of all of the custiomizations we made in the past.

We prefer to work directly with ClickSoftware Professional Services as an advisor. Having their direct opinion is very important for quality assesment

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are an Insurance Company, and we selected ClickSoftware for Roadside assistance.

The problem we had was that we didn't know where our technicians were, or whethere they were available or not. We didn't have any visibility, and we didn't have any optimization neither. All of our assignments were manual.

Best for Field Engineers!!

What do you like best?

I'm enabler and have tested this application for our Vodafone Field engineers.

It is very nice and easy to track all day tasks remotely.

Best tracker and ease of use are the best features which I have seen.

Click team is very supportive and provides upgrade frequently.

What do you dislike?

Requires VPN connectivity as it is accessing internal resources of organization.

VPN is quite painful if it is not working then app wont work on normal internet. this is quite dependency and user has to end up with no solution sometimes.

Lagging sometimes while connecting

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SOFTWARE TO ONE AND ALL WHO WANTS BEST TRACKING OF DAILY BAU TASKS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Field engineers from all location can access their tasks remotely and efficiency increased drastically.

Now we are able to get full visibility on daily tasks and easily manage.

Very good product and excelent service

What do you like best?

The product is very well designed, you can do a lot using just the configuration front-end application. Besides the professional service stuff really try to meet the goals of the company.

What do you dislike?

The lack of support in spanish is something that need to be improved. The performances of devices is something that need to check carefully prior any purchase.

Recommendations to others considering the product

At the beginning of the project ask for prototypes of ClickMobile application forms. There are many details that are really hard to understand just reading the designed documents provided by Click. Also pay attention to the performance of devices and assure that those really meet your expectations.

We integrated several legacy CRM systems, now all the tasks that need to be attended in the field are using the Clicksoftware. Now we have a centralize software that help us to focus on field productivity.

The way to optimize the workforce

What do you like best?

A key aspect is the ability to handle variations in real time. All the best schedules must confront reality and the inevitable surprises that this hides.

By using ClickSoftware you can review its business model while managing scale and a large number of technicians moving the workforce towards the areas or tipolgie more important or strategic intervention.

What do you dislike?

At the moment the schedule of time travel is not dynamically updated with traffic infos: this is an important aspect in the big cities and the scheduling algorithm must also take into account the availability of the single technical materials

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It 'was possible to introduce the single operator, reducing the time of intervention, fearlessly face the new KPI introduced by national legislation and initiate a timely monitoring of all activity for better management of operational operating costs

What do you like best?

I like the integrated solution for out of the box configuration.

What do you dislike?

Customizations or a propensity to customize configuration just because a customer says they have unique needs. There is enough OOTB config items in the software suite that ClickSoftware should be able to push back on clients with pride in their products. Click used customization to gain insight into add ons and standardizing the product but clients with customizations are left with the custom components and this ties their hands and willingness as clients to upgrade on ClickSoftware's internal desired schedule to move clients to version 9 or whatever it is called now.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be aware of Click's own desire to maintain their relationship with you as a customer based on when you signed your agreement and pricing with them. Company direction at Click will change several times and their tone with you or their desire to help you with external vs internal solutions along with it. An example is the Cloud being an enabler for your business 4 years back and that it will not handcuff you or hinder you for years to come and all existing external APIs can be sorted through and supported. Well now that they have expanded their offering of applications and add-ons, and though the technology for web APIs is industry standard, you'll find their tone and solution is always one of an internal product solution and the cloud is being used as a vehicle to sell products (with customizations tying you down where business needs aren't met) rather than deliver what the customer might want i.e. a generic web service. Additionally accounts are mishandled and shift hands several times and it is even worse when dealing with support cases that remain open for months without resolution. There's no idea of SLAs for time to resolve, just someone sitting in India for Sev1 ticket to say "we answered in five minutes". This is really unfortunate as we felt we were moving forward with Click. The product is great in terms of end to end solutions for mobile workforce solution delivery and their integrations. Optimization is also a key benefit that is seeing material gains in how we run and reassess our operation.

Resource Planning, Daily Scheduling Deployments, Workload Optimization and Reassessment, Mobile timesheets, and payroll and billing integations as well as Data feeds into BI tools.

The product offers a wide variety of scheduling functions.

What do you like best?

The scheduling capabilities of ClickSchedule is unmatched. ClickMobile is easy to deploy and maintain. The product is easy to integrate with and in context to other workforce management solutions simple to implement

What do you dislike?

Remote support can sometimes be challenging. There is no direct access to technical support from a customer perspective. Customers need to work through a partner. The other problem is product updates are not communicated that well. I did register on the ClickSoftware customer portal and will see if that make

Recommendations to others considering the product

The choice of implementation partner is critical. Make sure during the vendor evaluation process that the implementation partner has the necessary ClickSoftware skills to implement the solution.

Automated dispatch solves a productivity and response time problem in our business. The service levels to our customers are improving all the time.
