"COMPview Came Through!!"

What do you like best?

I most liked the flexibility of the tool as well as it's ease of use for the user. It was very intuitive.

What do you dislike?

I disliked the tedious work needed to refresh the data for the next cycle. That's an internal issue and no fault of COMPview as the template is very easy to update once all your company data is available.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would recommend HRsoft to peers looking to automate simply because although we had many challenges in a brief period of time, the system was up and ready for go-live as promised. The implementation team remained calm under pressure and was very accommodating.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a new system to administer our merit and bonus cycles as our old tool was sunsetted without much warning. With COMPview, we were able to put something in place that managers felt somewhat familiar with and make it a little easier to navigate through. That meant little to no disruption to the entire process.

"Overall it functions well and I saw improvement year over year"

What do you like best?

The report part. It includes all the info you will need and you can customize your own report which is very useful for comp person to conduct data analysis.

What do you dislike?

The summary tab can’t be switched with other tabs. We wanted to see the salary tab as default once login the comp planning worksheet, but it always takes us to the summary tab first.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This year, we combined salary, equity and promotion activities into one process. It saves our managers a lot of time using the tool to conduct these pay planning and they can make pay decisions and career development plan for their direct reports more efficiently.

"Dir, Global HRIS"

What do you like best?

The tool allows managers to have one stop shop to view and recommend variable and cash allocations. We now can including promotion process as part of our annual review. This help consolidate our process and reduce ad hoc promotion demand.

What do you dislike?

It does not intergrate with our HR system.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are using excel to support your company annual performance cycle, I highly recommend using HRsoft.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

No longer needs manage our variable and cash allocations manually and using IT created Excel tool. Does not have to depend on IT to provide report. The tool gives us more flexible and improve our Annual Review cycle time.

What do you like best?

HRSoft is a fast dependable system that allows managers to plan multiple pay components for their whole department at the same time. Examples - Merit, MIP and LTIP.

What do you dislike?

I have not found anything I dislike with the product.

The implementation is fast and they have an excellent support team.

It allows us to communicate quickly with mangers with out having to send multiple spreadsheets back an forth via email.

"HRSoft Comp Mangement Tool"

What do you like best?

Data automation and approval process. The ability to strategically link the annual performance review and merit increase process.

What do you dislike?

The system is designed to round off the merit increase pay rates to 4 digit numbers and since we upload rates into the HRIS system rounded off to 2 digits we tend to have some overall inconsistencies in rates (typically -/+0.01). This issue seems to be prevalent with the hourly employees whom their rates have to be converted into annual amount prior to assigning the merit increase.

"Great product and excellent support"

What do you like best?

Flexibility for customization, activity tracking, support

What do you dislike?

Lacking mobile capabilities, minimal QCing of customer changes before sending it for customer review

Great tool for compensation planning, amazing support and implementation team. Lacking mobile capability, formal administrator training documentation.

Enables us to configure various plans to support our business using advanced rules and calculations not available in our core system. Activity tracking, reassigning budgets on the fly and retaining budget for terminated employees during the planning cycle.

"Easy to Use and Customize"

What do you like best?

The HRsoft system is relatively simple for managers to use and automatically process approvals through to the top of the approval chain. The system allows for notification emails, real time calculations, and a significant amount of customizability. The professional services team is very knowledgeable and has a very quick turn around time.

What do you dislike?

Required upgrades are considered a professional service and have the same fee structure.

Bonus and merit compensation planning.

"Easy to Use"

What do you like best?

It is easy to use and the response time for questions is fast! They resolve any issues super quick!

What do you dislike?

Having to ask to have data reset each cycle.

Great solution to mainstreaming your MIP and LTIP and staying within budget.

We are using it for MIP and LTIP. Has really helped keep managers accountable on what they are giving the associates and staying within budget.

"COMPview a great tool for compensation professionals"

What do you like best?

The system is easy to use and very intuitive for managers in distributing and approving equity and incentives.

What do you dislike?

In our setup, historical data must be set up each year.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Awards are being approved in a more streamlined fashion. There are no concerns with version control on spreadsheets being emailed back and forth as everything is updated in real time in the system.

What do you like best?

Flexible and customizable tool that can be catered to each organization's unique planning methodology, structure and data needs.

What do you dislike?

Though likely addressed in a recent or future release, some of the formatting of the UI is not completely customizable. I also think analytics for planners can be enhanced.

Giving planning managers all the relevant information they need to make compensation decisions for their employees.

I like the customization options that the professional services team provides

What do you dislike?

UI is a bit dated. Managers sometimes complain about the ease of use. Given that we a tech company, with a strong emphasis on design, managers have a high expectations for software and design.
