"Highly Recommended For Anyone That Wants To Grow Thier Business"

What do you like best?

We spent a lot of money on several different solutions before we found Connected Business. What we like the best is that we are able to run our business on one solution instead of 3 or 4. We also like that Connected Business is highly customization as we have customized it quite a bit. We also like that Connected Business is always being improved and unlike when we were using Dynamics, the owners seem to care and listen to new feature suggestions.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it feels that it is too big of a system for us with too many features.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you get a good partner to implement it. We did it ourselves and it was a lot harder than we expected.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We bought Connected Business after being frustrated with using a few different solutions to manage the business, sales team and web site. I felt that i was spending all my time managing our computers and that i was drowning. Ever since we moved to Connected Business and everyone got use to it, things have been much better and our sales have grown.

"Great for our needs"

What do you like best?

There are a few areas that Connected Business has made a difference in the way we do business. The biggest impact for us, was having the eCommerce system working with our inventory and order fulfillment processes. Having one system to handle the telephone, web and Amazon sales has solved a lot of the challenges we were facing previously. We were having a difficult time of keep track of our inventory quantities and Connected Business solved those problems for us. I also like the Business intelligence as it is really flexible once you learn it. We have found that the system is far more customization than the one we replaced.

What do you dislike?

The bank deposits are a nightmare. We deposit about 100 checks a day and each one has to be selected to create a band deposit transaction. This can take 15 minutes! We have been told that you can select more than one check at a time in their next release but seems it would have been addresses before. Its also sometimes hard to understand all the configuration options. Support can be hit and miss, sometimes support tickets are responded to quickly, other times we get a answer that they need to check with a developer.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Yes.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Coming from another system we used for a decade, the biggest issue for us was that we were blindly selling across different sales channels without understanding the customers history in other sales channels or the true inventory. We would routinely sell out of stock products then call the customer to apologize. This was hurting our sales. Since going with Connected Business we have been growing at about 30% the past two years.

"Outdated & Buggy"

What do you like best?

Not much at all. its a full ERP System, but there are other systems for the same cost, that are far more efficient, and you get more in the standard package, and more visually appealling.

What do you dislike?

Complicated, difficult to modify/ customise. difficult to upgrade to new versions. we hoped V16 would be the answer. it definitely wasnt. We have spent $18K, since upgrading to V16.

there is no cloud based version, and no plan for this either.

Recommendations to others considering the product

No.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

running everything in 1 system.

I like the platform but it could be a bit informative. Sometimes I have trouble understanding the features.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have not experienced any problems with the software. I realized that this platform can help with targeted sales as well as creating marketing campaigns.

"Used for about a year; gave up."

What do you like best?

Customization eCommerce site built on the ASP.NET platform integrated with an on premise ERP client.

What do you dislike?

Still has a large amount of show-stopping bugs and has gotten worse from 5.x to 7.x and support turnaround ranges from 3 days at the shortest to 2 weeks or more.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would recommend having your partner complete their installation and setup before you pay for the consulting or licensing. In our case, after switching over, we discovered bugs that prevented our store from selling to customer for 12 days (the speed of critical support tickets).

Overall, due to the buggy nature of the software, we lost over 30% of our pre-existing customer base (#1 reason given by customers in an exit survey was eCommerce bugs preventing customers from executing sales). We moved to SalesOrder and PrestaShop, dropped our licensing cost over 70% and our customers are much happier.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Used for a small business (about $500k revenue) looking for an integrated ERP and store.
