CRNMFusion DupeBlocker - Great Company - Great Tool

What do you like best?

I am a huge fan of CRM Fusion as a company. In addition to DupeBlocker, they have an amazing data quality, / data transformation tool called Demand Tools that has revolutionized our ability to deliver CRM solutions with relatively pristine data and a path to maintain consistent data quality on a regular basis.

What do you dislike?

There is a little bit of a learning curve. But beyond that, the CRM Fusion tools are well worth the investment.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Look closely at the entire suite of products offered by CRM Fusion. DupeBlocker is great. Very flexible and highly reliable. But if you don't use their Demand Tools product, you are totally missing out on an opportunity to take "bad data" off the table when discussing the positives and negatives of your business automation stack.

I have actually implemented CRM Fusion tools at two different companies and now that I have moved on to a new organization, I hope to bring it here as well. Honestly, one of the best returns on investment of any such tool I have seen.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Poor quality CRM data. The need to conduct one-time data quality reviews. The ability to find suspicious duplicates, evaluate them, and ultimately merge them with the good data. The ability to put into place data governance controls ensuring persistence of data quality. The bottom line is that these relatively inexpensive tools have immensely helped us to drive positive adoption of our much higher cost CRM and ERP environments.

It has been an effective solution for Salesforce duplicate blocking and warning

What do you like best?

I like the ease of configuration in Salesforce to setup the Dupe Blocking Scenarios. It is also easy to manage the importing and exporting of Dupe Blocking settings between Salesforce sandboxes.

Our solution uses custom Apex code and Visual Force pages to invoke dupeblocker, which has been an effective solution to manage millions of Accounts and Contacts.

What do you dislike?

Rebuilding scenario keys can be a time consuming process, so plan ahead.

Set it to run in batch mode, but expect to wait many hours or maybe days for very large data sets.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Managing millions of accounts and contacts without creating too many duplicates. A huge time saver in our business and helps maintain better customer relationship.

CRM Fusion DupeBlocker is one of the easiest deduplication tools out there!

What do you like best?

I like the ease of use and set up of DupeBlocker. You can have it in and working within minutes. Administration and changes are easy. Alerts are sent to the right people and do not overwhelm those entering data.

What do you dislike?

I have not found a downside to using DupeBlocker. Its features are great for any size company and for any skill level.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Please evaluate DupleBlocker as it is easy to use, set up and monitor. It is not intrusive as other blockers can be and pricing is quite competitive.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have kept clean data and prevented duplicate leads being sent to different sales reps. Also, it helps keep from entering data that is a match but not found on typical searches. It also allows us to know we have clean data when we start campaigns.

CRMfusion is great for date cleansing

What do you like best?

I like that the system is easy to when it comes to cleaning data and organizing data.

What do you dislike?

I can't say that there is anything i dislike, anytime I need help the customer support is extremely easy and helpful.

Business benefits that CRMfusion has is to reach any data quality goals that you may need assistance with

Review DupeBlocker

What do you like best?

Useful in screening out duplicates in large datasets, primarily when using SalesForce software.

What do you dislike?

Maybe not as useful in smaller datasets. Using the "eyeball test" may be just as useful, without getting false posititives.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Consider the size of the datasets you're working with. Smaller data may work just as well with other types of software.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I've found it useful in screening addresses for GIS mapping purposes.

Accurate, easy to use

What do you like best?

Easy to use, but still powerful algorithm that lets your search for duplicates in a different set of ways. You can even save the scenarios you use to dedup.

What do you dislike?

Old interface. They could have a faster drag-and-drop tool that could accelerate the process.

Avoid duplicated records. People working on different records when should be the same one.
