"Awesome product that we need to use better"

What do you like best?

What's not to like? Easily tracks leads, sold projects, stores documents for each project and creates reports. It has so many more capabilities than what we are using it for, and I can't wait to get into using it more!!

What do you dislike?

My only dislike currently is that it can become a burden to keep updated. We are way behind at keeping our Dataforma records updated due to the fact that we'd have to double enter mostly everything with our accounting system and we are so busy we can't even find the time to enter leads... so nothing wrong with the product per se, we just need to use it better!

Recommendations to others considering the product

I definitely recommend having one person assigned to be your "Super User," as DF calls it. This person will make sure everyone is on the same page with how they are supposed to be using it, as well as making sure the information stays updated.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There are huge benefits in using Dataforma for project management. I just wish that we could start using it better for field service as well as keeping our records updated. Would be awesome to integrate fully functioning accounting!

"Organization in a Flash! "

What do you like best?

Tracking leads are easy as 1...2...3! It allows the entire office to track leads from the initial call to the sale.

What do you dislike?

Client portals would be extremely helpful, unfortunately, it comes at an extra cost and is not highly customizable.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are looking for a client platform that they can easily access, Dataforma has that feature available. Unfortunately, it comes at quite a high cost.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our office is able to run smoothly and staff saves a lot of time by uploading their documents directly into Dataforma. It allows the entire staff to easily pull up information about every lead and track its status from the initial call all the way to the sale.

"Steep learning curve, and it's so worth it"

What do you like best?

Quick & consistent, accessible across all platforms (for the most part)

What do you dislike?

Can't look up documents from my phone, just pics.

Doesn't integrate with other solutions we use like Follow-Up Power, Quickbooks (it does, but only in limited transaction capacity), Windows explorer (why not a windows explorer tree for project docs?)

Recommendations to others considering the product

Plan to spend the time with Dave Caves to learn what you're doing. It was confusing as hell until I spent time with him in training.

Scheduling & tracking of start dates and tying up loose ends on projects have been improved.

"Could not imagine going back."

What do you like best?

Dataforma gives every team member the information they need, when and where they need it. From the mobile app to the detailed building history, it provides us a clear picture of our customers and their needs.

What do you dislike?

Can be cumbersome for new users. New updates seem to fall behind schedule.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be patient, but consistent. It takes a long time to bring everyone on board.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Scheduling our repairs and maintenance work orders and assigning them to technicians has never been easier. Dataforma cuts down on the endless phone calls and gets the information out of people's heads and into a format we can use.
