"I have 1 year experience in using deforge event profiler for SQL se"

What do you like best?

1) Multiple SQL server can be analysed simultaneously.

2) The generated report data can be filtered, sorted etc.

3) Customized reports can be sent to higher management.

4) It provides lot of template for checking the performance of system.

5) The execution plan shows more detail.

What do you dislike?

1) It do not show report data in charts.

2) it do not show suggestions for performance improvement.

3) it do not allow debugging of stored procedures, functions etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's a great tool to check SQL server performance and find issues.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

1) it has helped us to find performance issues in SQL server.

2) We are sending customized reports about SQL server performance to higher management.

3) It do not show any major performance overhead to monitor SQL server.

"I have three year experience to use event profiler."

What do you like best?

1. It has minimum load on server to capture events.

2. It provides easy and customisable GUI for the captured events. For example, the best fit option helps to visualise whole content.

3.It provides filtering and sorting capability to the captured events.

What do you dislike?

1). It do not provide suggestions for optimising queries. Like indexes to be used.

2).it do not provide functionality to check refrenced. For example, it do not show the relationship between tables.

3).it do not explain fragmentation of indexes.

Sql event profiler is great tool to capture/search events.

1) dbforge profiler provide help to check the workload on server.it has helped us to debug performance issues in the system.

2) it's easy to debug application issues as it provides log for queries running on server.
