When it works, it is great to pull up a copy of an invoice at your fingertips rather than having to get up from your chair and find it in a filing cabinet
What do you dislike?
It has not worked properly now for about a month and it is getting worse. The scanning software (docAlpha)is from a company in the Ukraine, a point that Altec failed to point out during there sales presentation and ensuing negotiations. The language barrier is very difficult. English is clearly their second language.
Recommendations to others considering the product
I chose DocLink because Altec claims it has seamless integration with Sage 100., which is true. Except that we are having issues with communication between the two. If it had not been for the claim of seamless integration I would have gone with DocuWare software instead. You may want to take a look at that software.
