"Great way to keep everything organized in one spot"

What do you like best?

Very good overview to see all the events going on in your buildings, it gives the people setting up the events all the information they need to have everything really for the event

What do you dislike?

editing an event, you can cancel an event pretty simply, but the event even thou not active is still there. I want to delete it completely I do not need to save in any form a canceled or deleted event

They have many other programs to choose from like energy management, maintenance direct and fs direct are the ones we use here

It is really good for showing you all your event and happenings in so spot, It been easy to show just the event in just certain building too. it is user friendly when setting up your event with all the options to chose from

"Outstanding Customer Support"

What do you like best?

These folks are some of the best in the business. Patient with the novice and in depth with those of us who use the product regularly.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing to dislike about this organization. Our only issue with this product is the volume of information that can be tracked. I need to hire at least 1 FTE to input all the information the program can track, thus I am using only a small amount of the services available to me.

These folks are especially helpful if you are starting with no existing program in place.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Currently working with The Dude on PM schedules and data collection. We are in the beginning stages of this project, just now scheduling the data collection portion.

"Good product"

What do you like best?

This product really includes almost every scenario.

What do you dislike?

1. Community Users have the option to opt out of emails during the signup process. This makes no sense because all communications happen through email. Although I believe an opt-out option should not occur in Facilities Direct, I know it should happen at the beginning of the process.

2. I have had several new account managers during our implementation. Everyone has been very helpful but it would be nice to deal with just one person until fully implemented.

FSDirect is the only software I have experience with but I would absolutely recommend it!

We are/will solve many issues with FSDirect.

Inconsistent billing

Ensuring insurance coverage

Tracking payments

Tracking rentals and costs.

"Why I think Event Management by DUDE SOULTIONS is GREAT!"

What do you like best?

Coming from a completely paper based system, the fact that platform is totally electronic and that information can be immediately recalled is mind blowing. The time saved is immeasurable.

Data at your fingertips with the immediate reports is so important to our internal stakeholders and staff.

What do you dislike?

The number of days in a schedule has to exceed the current 100! As a school system, 180 days is standard. We could be much more efficient if we were able to have 1 schedule per organization which would then make our data and number of events/schedules spot on instead of "ball park".

The basic search function could work a little better. It pulls way too much data or too many organizations using a single key word.

It saves time and makes you more efficient.

The amount of time spent on events is cut in half.

Solving issues such as insurance expirations, invoices due, electronic system alleviates paper and allows for quick recall.

"Excellent"

What do you like best?

I like to have all events within one location. This prevents double booking and also allows us to generate more money by seeing which rooms and locations are available.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the setup of all the locations but understand that I must in order to achieve greatness.

"It was our first online scheduling software we used. It worked out well for what we needed."

What do you like best?

The best thing was having all of our events on one calendar instead of each department having their own calendar. Uploading to one google calendar was a plus.

What do you dislike?

It seemed too complicated at times and not very customizable.

"Somewhat pleased"

What do you like best?

user creates own log in credentials - though not being able to help them with password is frustrating

What do you dislike?

submittal password is unnecessary - why do users need to use 2

Find out what is included up front - seems every time I want to update/clean up my users or inventory it will cost extra for Dude to help

District wide access to all info, helps to keeps bookings organized and we have less conflicts with duplicates

"Great application for managing after-hours HVAC and lighting needs"

What do you like best?

Our schools are able to manage their own schedules for after-hours air conditioning. It is easy to use. It has a simple user interface that does everything our users need.

What do you dislike?

The ability to customize the documentation and/or screen descriptions would be good.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With the schools scheduling their own events, last minute calls for a late day event have been eliminated. This allows our HVAC techs to concentrate on repairs instead of rescheduling.

"Was Admin assistant for buildings and grounds, am currently admin assistant for technology dept."

What do you like best?

We are a school district with 10 buildings - SchoolDude keeps it easy to manage events and keeps everyone in the loop of events in different buildings, including set ups (custodial, maintenance, and tech needs).

What do you dislike?

Would like the app to be more user friendly.

Keeps everyone in the know of what is required, set up, break down, etc.

"Comprehensive and necessary."

What do you like best?

It is user friendly and works along with all of your platforms.

Nothing, I do like it very much. The District has used it now for two years and likes it very much.

"FS Direct"

What do you like best?

Use of FS Direct helps keep our entire district event calendar organized for everyone to see and is convenient to use for scheduling coverage for events. The real time changes are very helpful

What do you dislike?

For our use, there is too much information - it would be much simpler to have less options/information, but that may be helpful for other organizations

The solution helps us prevent double booking of spaces and well as easily seeing what space is available for use and/or rent.

What do you like best?

Ease of use. Able to see all of our Districts usage in one spot.
