Overall very easy to use. Dating mapping was super simple (anyone can do it, not just the CRM admin) and easy email deployment and scheduling.
What do you dislike?
Customer Service was a bit slow. They were west coast and we were east coast, so that was a bit difficult. Also, the workflow functionality wasn't as intuitive, even if we set up the flow the way we wanted it still wouldn't work 100% correctly. Caused a bit of frustration.
Recommendations to others considering the product
It really depends on what you're looking for in an ESP. At the time, Email Direct met our needs in emailing over 1.5 million customers, and provided the basic reporting that we needed. Eventually we moved into more robust system that could offer retargeting, and better segmentation efforts.
