"The Personalized Solutions Separate Emarsys from Other ESPs"

What do you like best?

Myron has been in business for 70 years, which presents its own challenges with regards to adapting their business model in order to remain competitive in the digital age. That's where Emarsys has been so helpful. The entire team at Emarsys has taken the time to understand our goals, business model, and technical capabilities, and with that understanding they've recommended and helped implement custom solutions that have already paid-off. Our email marketing is up over 35% ytd -- something that wouldn't be possible without Emarsys.

The best part f Emarsys is that our account manager, Alex B., is not only personable and knowledgeable, but he's always there when needed. No matter how unorthodox the question or request, he always has an answer or is able to quickly connect with the appropriate members on his team to get the accurate information and best recommendation.

What do you dislike?

Our experience with every member of the North American team has been amazing; the only challenge was when we worked with their European team members, and that's largely because of the time difference. To their credit, Emarsys recognized our challenges and quickly worked to implement a solution that worked for everyone.

Although everyone on the North American team is great, I'd recommend everyone request Alex B. work on their account!

Our biggest struggle/challenge has been our outbound business model, and Emarsys has helped make our email marketing profitable by guiding us towards best practices, and helping us get the most out of our raw data.

"Reliable and easy to use ESP"

What do you like best?

- User-friendly and intuitive interface

- A lot of documentation and training videos available

- Reliability – never had any outage or failures

- Easy to use drag and drop automation program builder

- A lot of segmentation possibilities: contact behaviour, geolocation, historical sale data and contact information

What do you dislike?

- Templates are a little limited, without knowledge of HTML it’s difficult to customise the design.

- Support can be inconsistent.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It’s worth reviewing all the functionalities when getting the quote to ensure you get what you need, as some parts of the platform are chargeable separately.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

- We can manage extensive database and segment contacts based on their behaviour and interests, which helped us to improve our open rate and interaction as we are now sending more relevant emails to our customers.

- We were also able to implement GDPR strategy, although it wasn’t easy, we received a lot of help and guidance from the support team.

"Peerless CRM and Marketing suite"

What do you like best?

Single customer view of entire marketing estate and direct integration's into many providers. Unparalleled coverage of marketing suites, ability to segment and automatically upload to facebook and google audiences. Out of the box improvements to existing email campaigns and user journeys.

What do you dislike?

Support can be slow to react but otherwise incredibly thorough.

Realtime tracking takes 4 hours to upload.

Sales are imported every 24 hours.

Be aware that "realtime" is not completely realtime.

There is a 4 hour delay between onsite tracking syncing with your unified customer profiles.

CRM was / is a nightmare to get right, Emarsys provides automated journeys in the form of blueprints that are always updated with best practice recommendations and solutions. We've improved retention since joining and also solved many deliverability issues that were outstanding.

"Powerful tool for marketing campaigns"

What do you like best?

The large amount of features, segmentation possibilites, and rules to get the most out of the target groups

What do you dislike?

In the beginning it can be hard to get an overview of what emarsys can do for you. But after a while you get familiar with it.

The amount of feature list like website recos, email recos, webchannel content, social marketing and many more makes emarsys one of the most powerful marketing automation suites on the market for for small and midsize companies. So for us it is overall the perfect tool for our needs

E-Mail automation, Benefit is the business rules where you can do segmentation and a lot of other things

"Best in class features & functionality"

What do you like best?

Smart insights and automation tooling in Emarsys is both advanced and flexible, but also really simple to implement. Bundles of functionality and targeting in a drag and drop style creator that makes creating new email journeys a breeze.

What do you dislike?

Pricing is easy to understand and structured, but full platform costs can spiral if you opt for all-singing all-dancing functionality. I'd recommend being sure of what tooling is useful for you and your business/operation.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're able to understand user behaviours easily and create targeted campaigns aimed at reactivating and/or influencing groups of users.

For example, defecting customers, basket abandoners and single purchasers can all be worked on using data.

"Enhancing our CRM strategy with Emarsys"

What do you like best?

Simple to use interface and very accessible data and analytics. I'm able to get either a detailed or 'at a glance' view of performance of our email campaigns and adjust our strategy accordingly

What do you dislike?

Some of the logic behind building segments and automated programmes is not as simple and intuitive as other platforms I've worked with

Improving engagement and repeat business from existing customers. Revenue is currently up significantly YOY and our engagement metrics are moving in the right direction too.

"Evolving our Customer Targets"

What do you like best?

Reliable support and customer team that goes the extra mile to understand our business. The Emarsys smart insight tools allow our business owners to make more relevant campaigns to targeted audiences enhancing our brand, customer experience, and overall campaign performance.

What do you dislike?

Automated trigger campaign continues to struggle. Implementation of RDS has been a struggle. Would also love to see Emarsys evolve other notification platforms like Browser Notifications/Messenger/SMS.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

More relevant/personalized campaigns are better with Emarsys. This will help us consolidate vendors and streamline an overall better customer experience.

"Great platform for semi-pro level marketing"

What do you like best?

-Lots of data availble in a presentable way.

- Great Customer Sucess manager

- Good reporting

What do you dislike?

- Not easy to customize templates or add custom colums to reports.

- No double opt in solution

- System logs you out all of the time.

- Exports take too long.

If your business struggles to use all their customer data in a meaningful way. Emarsys may be the right partner for you. Especially if you have a marketing team of mid-level marketers its easy to use and understand. Emarsys also have the depth you need if you put in the work, and pay up.

"Full CRM solution"

What do you like best?

The product development and how the features are linked between them.

The price for the whole package is not really competitive compared with other offers but it makes sense since i know it's reliable.

Just check out the demo and make sure you go for the full implementation because it's harder after to complete it.

"Better partnership with Travelbag"

What do you like best?

It has provided a solid, reliable CSR platform on which we have built a strong communications strategy. Keen to offer insight and implement new ideas to maximize value, we have introduced a number of new strategies under their guidance.

What do you dislike?

Few of the templates Emarsys provide for their customers do not allow us to implement our ideal strategies, which can limit us sometimes

Good for managing massive mailing list and personalizing customer journeys. We are increasing the life time value of our customers. With Emarsys we are easily able to segment our database by multiple factors and then communicate to them with relevant content bespoke to their journey, lifecycle or segment.

"Each emails delivered was well above expectation"

What do you like best?

Contains full A/B testing features and tracking tools. And using the shared QQ whitelisted group to ensure email deliverability for Chinese ISPs, good reporting and even integration with Google Analytics.

What do you dislike?

A complicated user interface on email builders no matter of block-based and template-based. Comparatively expensive and the additional costs involved in the integration of online form services.

"Great ESP"

What do you like best?

Automation Centre is always evolving and getting better and better.

Emarsys is great for integrated multi-channel campaigns, so much more than email only.

What do you dislike?

Little 'brilliant basics' are missing, e.g. test emails don't work when certain criteria are selected, fields aren't searchable or in alphabetical order when you want to export data, no ability to push from staging to production environment

Some miscommunication and lack of support when adopting new features.

"First email marketing app I have actually enjoyed using "

What do you like best?

I like how easy and user friendly it is to customize emails, schedule emails, and send to our customer base

What do you dislike?

Some of the options are hard to find. It take some time learning where everything is but once you get everything the way you want it it's a breeze.

This application gets the job done. While it does take some training and knowledge of email marketing basics, it is very user friendly and it didn't take me very long to figure everything out and become comfortable setting up/sending emails for my team as needed.

We are increasing our reach, tracking customer behaviors/patterns, increasing in-store and online sales, and promoting our brand as well as the brands we carry

"Emarsys for Retail Marketing"

What do you like best?

Fairly quick/easy to use for someone who doesn't know coding, lots of features that can help us streamline our online email subscription process.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that you are only allowed to use one email template and that you can't change the template once it's been added.

I am not familiar with many other products like Emarsys so I can't really say for sure if this product is the best but it gets the job done, is user friendly, and affordable.

"A Powerful B2C Marketing Platform "

What do you like best?

Emarsys allows my company to create a 1-to-1 personalized marketing to each customer so my clients can achieve and maintain truly personalized interactions for with me as needed. This is extremely essential for great customer service.

What do you dislike?

The onboarding process was more difficult than I would expect. It seems to have unnecessary steps and tutorials to start. Also, the pricing is quite expensive for a small business owner like myself.

Having a one on one relationship with my clients and understanding their behavior. Emarsys is well suited to segment a customer base and help with communicating in a personalised and direct manner with them.

What do you like best?

Drag & Drop Builder and predictive recommendations (oh and the great support team).

"Non-intuitive interface lacking customization"

What do you like best?

Lots of tools for analytics and segmenting

What do you dislike?

Very limited customization which is the reason we switched to this platform. Any changes you want beyond what you initially tell the developers will either cost you to have them change, or you'll have to figure out a way to do it through HTML.

"Lots of Potetntial"

What do you like best?

Emarsys has a great team that's readily available and willing to assist any issues.

Their interface is fairly clunky. A lot of the ux is difficult to understand and they do not use consistent terminology across the platform.

Their team was incredibly helpful when setting up the tool. Also gave us contact support during the first couple months.

Emarsys was going to add Push Messages functionalities in Q3 2015, however it got delayed.
