Open enrollment accessible to all company employees. Good basic reports. Great tool to HR for administering benefits and helpful with self accounting/billing of benefit carriers as well. ACA compliance was a breeze using this product.
For the employees, many of them only get into the software once a year to do open enrollment. There isn't enough there to attract them throughout the course of a year. Tried using the compensation statement but it was not easy customize.

We have had access to Employee Navigator via our benefits broker. It was a huge upgrade for our organization and allowed HR to look at offering more benefits because they were easier to enroll in and manage. Employees love the experience, except that it is another program (user/password) to remember.
Employee Navigator has a lot of features that are helpful to employees of the company such as enrollment, 401k, John Hancock, FSA, coverage adjustment, healthcare and more. It also informs employees who the primary human resource contact is via email and phone if necessary need to contact them. Links are provided with more information.

I like the fact that you can add as many team members as you employ on the system, and being a web based system, you don't have to download any software, plus it's so easy to use.
I don't dislike anything about it, it can do a lot more than we are doing with it now, so it is a learning process for us.

The most important thing for me about the system is being able to track our staff absence leaving out leave forms, and reducing paperwork within Human Resources. It's also an easy system that enables us track salary and benefit changes, as we work closely with our brokers to make the necessary changes to the system in real-time.
I like the fluid control between employee navigator and other applications it will work with. The control you have over payroll, and employees in Employee Navigator makes it less taxing on the administrative work, and also the data entry.
There are multiple revisions that have to be made in order for it to work seamlessly with other applications or programs you use. There will always be more updates and a changing Navigator environment to match the changes in payroll or human resources. New hires might take awhile to populate, and sometimes the payroll is not always accurate. It will give you an average estimate to run your labor yields from.
It has a better layout than similar programs out there.
The benefits I have realized are you can schedule multiple days, and even months out. There is less time on the administrative task of payroll and scheduling, so more time is spent on building your business.
Ease of benefit administration instead of paper documentation puts the reponsiblity back into the hands of the employee.
Paid Time Off feature is missing some functionality. It does not allow one to set up an additional time off segment for employees of a higher level, as our Directors earn more time off than other employees.

Some of the setup was a bit tricky. The data upload process was different depending on what you were uploading which was confusing.

I like that it's so easy to add and term employees & that Employee Navigator takes care of the rest.
I've noticed that there can be a delay between terming an employee & having them drop from the billing with carriers.

Very user friendly! I like that we can just enroll our employees, and the simplicity of it makes it so we don't have to provide training on the software.

Easy to use and identify with; Allows brokers to offer their clients/customers solutions to manage everything from benefits administration to onboarding and PTO & vacation tracking. It is a very efficient and comprehensive software.
The interface could use a few updates, as it looks a bit more dated than other softwares I have used.
We were trying to find a more efficient way to track leave and extra vacation hours for new employees. The accrual rate was throwing our old software off but this is much better.
