Excellent Customization and Responsive Customer Service

What do you like best?

We have a very special, custom product that can result in extremely complex configurations and therefore extremely complex logic in order to ensure accurate proposals. Not only does Endeavor provide a fast stable environment, but their ability to customize and streamline the quoting process to afford our salespeople more time to meet with customers face-to-face and sell!

Support is quick to respond and resolve as well as providing constructive suggestions to further improve our UX.

What do you dislike?

There is not much to dislike, the only thing that we've heard requested from our user group apply to some aesthetics changes.

There is some unique functionality that was lost when we upgraded to their newest version of our tool, but with all the other improvements, and knowing it is something that will be addressed with incremental upgrades as we move forward, it is something we can work around.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Endeavor will set realistic expectations regarding a timeline for completion. They will do everything in their power to provide the most stable, easy to use system within the allotted time frame. They provide status reports on a regular basis making sure you are always aware of what is completed, what is outstanding and how well you've managed the time and resources associated with implementing your custom solution.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a tool that allowed our salesmen to provide quotations to their customers as quickly as possible as well as capturing all the information regarding their quotation within our CRM, Salesforce. When we began the adoption process of our new CRM 5 years ago we were told that they could not support our need for such a customized tool using native salesforce capbilities. Endeavor CPQ was able to provide us with a solution quickly and provided a great deal of direct support to our user group during the initial rollout.

We've seen an decrease in the amount of time it takes to generate a quotation which means our salesmen have more time to focus on making a sale. The proposal generation is also top notch and provides an excellent experience to our potential customers and provides a clear, easily understood proposal, that increases our chances of making a sale.

Making Our Lives Easier with Endeavor.

What do you like best?

The platform is so customizable. We have a lot of "special " situations with our estimating and the Endeavor CPQ system is always able to handle it.

What do you dislike?

I wouldn't say I "dislike" anything; the challenge we have faced is that we are Endeavor's first landscaping client so the learning curve (on both sides) has been what I would call a challenge.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to use InforCRM and Endeavor CPQ seamlessly and this has opened the door to streamlining our sales process across the board. The time savings for our Sales staff is immeasurable.

Endeavor CPQ9 Platform Ugrade - Faster, Smarter, Simpler

What do you like best?

The new CPQ9 platform from Endeavor Commerce offers a robust quoting platform capable of managing complex product variability and logic layering with user-friendliness and quick processing speed. The solution integrates seamlessly with our Salesforce.com CRM platform to offer consistent and professional customer proposals, as well as accurate product data on Sales Opportunities for forecasting.

What do you dislike?

We are a long-time partner of Endeavor, so we had to migrate from a previously employed solution to the new platform, which required some dedicated effort and time, but the Endeavor team worked cooperatively and constructively with us all along the way to help ensure a smooth upgrade release.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you're in the market for a robust, yet easy-to-use CPQ tool that integrates well with various CRM platforms, this is a solid solution.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Although we offer a standard range of door product lines, there is high variability around available options for any given door configuration and its unique application and size, resulting in a "custom" sale every time a door is quoted. The Endeavor CPQ9 platform allows our Sales team to easily Configure, Price and Quote custom door solutions quickly with ease, and offers a consistent and professional proposal output that echoes the pillars of the Rytec Brand: Performance, Reliability and Durability.

Clean, Powerful and easy to adapt to your environment

What do you like best?

CPQ gives me the ability to customize our guided selling to fit the less technical nature of our sales team. I can customize it in so many different ways I sometimes lose track of all the things it can do. It allows me to control what our Sales Team can see, which in turn allows me to control what products are selected from the catalog.

What do you dislike?

I am not a big fan of being forced to use Silverlight in the admin console, and I wish that I had the ability to copy questions during the guided selling setup. I would also like to see it work with the newest browser offerings from Microsoft.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As always do your homework, but take the time to learn the nuances of the product. It is the little things that make this a fantastic platform.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We focus a great deal here on order entry errors. We need our Sales Support Team focusing on entering orders quickly and accurately. With CPQ and the guided selling trees, I am able to create a series of simple questions that our Sales Support Team answers and based on those answers, it will show or hide other options as they go through it. This was important to our company because it removes products that are not needed from view. By doing this, orders are easily repeatable and our order accuracy has increased greatly.

Very Satisfied User

What do you like best?

Through our partnership with EndeavorCPQ, we have significantly enhanced our quoting system. These enhancements include an improved process flow, the addition of reference content to better describe products and options, incorporating email notifications and improving our overall sales responsiveness.

What do you dislike?

Overall, we have been very satisfied. We have found EndeavorCPQ to be proactive in their development of features to enhance the user’s experience. They are actively looking for ways to enhance their products and have been very open to suggestions. In many cases, these suggestions have been incorporated into future releases.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Prior to implementing EndeavorCPQ, one of our biggest challenges was creating awareness of our stock machines as quotes were being generated. With a normal inventory level over $100 million, this was a big issue. Also, due to long lead times, most of our sales are generated from this inventory. EndeavorCPQ has allowed us to quickly and accurately present these products to our sales members. By simply selecting a specific machine, the sales member is presented with that machine’s complete specifications and from there; they can add options to customize the machine to the customer’s specific needs. By monitoring what machines/models are being quoting, we are able to adjust our incoming plans to maximize the effectiveness of our inventory dollars.

Should be renamed EndeavorROI

What do you like best?

The hardest part of configuration is the translation of business rules to programming execution. Endeavor has a rules engine that business people can use to author rules, is most cases those in charge of Product, Marketing & Sales. While CPQ is Configure Price Quote, we have successfully used the rules engine to create Marketing Calendars, which are highly configurable based upon Time of Year, Mix of Products, Promotions, Prices, Bundles, Advertising, PR, Social Marketing Mix. So many rules, so many choices, such a mess in creating a Marketing Promotional and Editorial calendar.

Not so with Endeavor, we are live and using this solution with the ability to edit the rules weekly!

What do you dislike?

Endeavor makes translating business rules into decision applications. The problem is still hard to execute but finally the software part is easy. NOTHING to dislike about Endeavor, love what they do!

Recommendations to others considering the product

Rules change, you need a rules engine that is EASY to use and administrate, Endeavor brings this capability to the business people the understand the rules versus the programmers the need to code them!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There is no better ROI is CRM than the speed to match exact customer needs & requirements to presentations, proposals, quotes and orders. Especially when you have a Go-to-Market though a channel this efficiency is paramount to success.
