"Great tool for prospecting"

What do you like best?

The system is very easy to use. I like the way the plays are set up on a step by step process. Then once the play is ready to go you can use the play to send to multiple prospects. I also like the ability to send the play to upper management and match titles.

What do you dislike?

The notifications could be more clear and concise. I also think that the plays themselves could be easier to initiate and track through the system.

Its a great tool if you are looking for a way to increase your outbound productivity.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving our problem of not enough touches through outbound marketing. The ability for our BDR's to reach so many people within such a short amount of time is really powerful. This in addition to the tracking that we are doing with Engagio is very powerful.

"Thoughtful, efficient, time saving, and seamless tool"

What do you like best?

I love playmaker because it enables me once a play is designed to place on autopilot OR to adjust as I find more intel out about the account. In addition, I can easily see what communication history and engagement in real time. I am a power -user and have twenty plus years of sales development experience calling on Fortune 500 accounts and have NEVER had such a wonderful, easy to use tool.

What do you dislike?

Because it is a new product and Engagio constantly seeks to improve the UI sometimes the changes can be a little confusing. Fortunately, the user support is very responsive in explaining change and guiding me.

Recommendations to others considering the product

- Buy it and Use it. However, prior to rolling out, I recommend the following:

1. Select a small number of accounts to test and make sure that there is a consistent account naming convention in your CRM. 2. Link all parent and child account of your target accounts in CRM and select all entities for the program. This way you can really leverage the Intel and playmaker

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

- Reduces duplication of effort and saves time which is very important since we run a lean company.

-Enables us to truly orchestrate a strategic omnichannel approach to marketing. Now that we have this tool we are able to see the "whole picture" of an account" and our results are phenomenal. Last quarter was marketing's best quarter for opportunity creation EVER

"Achieve thoughtful, tailored and human outreach at scale. "

What do you like best?

- The ability to integrate multiple communication channels into a outreach plan

- Leveraging multiple 'voices' across the org for has seen big impact (Exec's, Product Team etc)

- Mixing automation (timing, SFDC triggers, templates) with manual customization.

What do you dislike?

- It's can be difficult to identify successful emails or activities with the holistic engagement score.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would recommend that you + your company is on-board with an Account Based Sales Development approach and the core principals. This isn't a widget that will help your emails. This is a tool that allows you to orchestrate the way you reach out to prospects. For example: less opens/clicks, more overall engagement. Less converting leads, more engaged accounts.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

In the sales development world, most organizations tackle the scale challenge with either more people or more automation. Engagio Playmaker allows development teams to be smarter about the way they are communicating with prospective customers without sacrificing volume. The specific problems we are solving are:

- Personalized messaging at scale with a lean team. (Leveraging pre-structured communication for timing, interesting moments, types of prospect engagement, personas etc)

- Repeatability. Standardizing communication flows to better predict outcomes.

- Reducing bottlenecks. Multi-person, multi-channel messages are no longer challenging or inefficient.

"Moving in the right direction"

What do you like best?

This is a great tool if you want to automate some of your personalized outreach. It is not a tool for blasting 500 people a day with the same canned message. For example, it allows an inside sales rep to send emails from executives who have given permission. This means a sales rep can prep and send campaigns on behalf of an executive; the sales person does all the heavy lifting while the executive merely approved the emails. Another good feature: the salesforce integration makes it easy to launch these types of campaigns from within SF.

What do you dislike?

Lots of bugs. Not set up for executives to easily approve emails.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The platform is still basic now and buggy, but that's to be expected with a new product. It still has a long way to go but the company is working hard to fix bugs and build out functionality.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Being able to automate personalized, customized prospecting and relationship building. It requires a sales person who is actually going to put thought into outreach. If your sales people just like sending the same generic emails to everyone, they won't need this tool.

"I love the possibilities of Engagio Playmaker! "

What do you like best?

A one-stop-shop to keep track of all the moving parts within a targeted campaign and deadlines for tasks. This creates accountability and gives us insight into what tasks are completed and which are pending so we can keep all campaigns on track, especially helpful for events!

What do you dislike?

I love the playmaker, it would be nice if there was a dupe catcher so if a contact has already been added to a play there will be a message that lets you know that is the case if you try to add the same contact again. It is cumbersome to change the order of tasks in the swim lane. When you only have a few tasks it is fine, but when you get up to 10+ it isn't easy to rearrange tasks, or see all tasks in the play.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Engagio is a great tool that will enhance your targeted marketing outreach. If you are going to implement Engagio make sure you data is segmented and cleaned before implementation, it makes segmenting accounts for plays easier. Also when creating campaigns make sure your content is truly segmented and personalized to your targets in plays, if not it defeats the purpose of ABM.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The greatest benefit I have seen is accountability and staying on track with campaign deliverables without having to send personal reminders or check in with people. The tasks get sent to the appropriate sales people and they are completed and everyone stays on track. Which is great when you have deadlines, like with events, everything needs to stay on schedule including campaigns and event communications/invites.

"Account Based Orchestration at another level"

What do you like best?

Ensure that decision makers and supporting influencers get multiple touches in a thoughtful account based approach. Empowers sales leaders, field reps, executives, marketing and business development team to work on a common account goal.

What do you dislike?

Needs a dialer integrated to really make this the go-to place for running your day and staying out of Salesforce. Stronger task management has helped, would like to see more integrations with companies like PFL.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Think about the impact of highly thoughtful personalized email outreach vs. a scorched earth approach of sending thousands of the same emails to multiple people in an organization. The difference between orchestration and automation. If automation was effective at the account level, we wouldn't need business development people to develop accounts, this is where the power of enablement lies.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Personalization and customization of account plans, thoughtful plays, tasks and orchestration. Takes automation out of email and call touches and adds a personal element that can't be found elsewhere. As an Account-Based marketer, I understand that once you've identified your accounts and the key stakeholders, that you need to be thoughtful in your outreach and Engagio Playmaker enables this like no other tool available on the market today.

"Powerful tool"

What do you like best?

Playmaker can literally execute any marketing or business activity you want to accomplish, provided you have the details in Salesforce. Its also very easy to coordinate teams within the organization. The best part of the tool is the ability to scale and accomplish these activities with as many accounts as you want.

What do you dislike?

Nothing to dislike - but as a new product and as they mature as an organization i'd like to see more standard plays in the toolset.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you have dedicated resources to this tool. There are other marketing automation software types that may allow for someone to use periodically, but this tool requires someone dedicating a large amount of time to its set up, execution, and maintaining. That is not a negative, but a reality to fully realize the investment you made.

"The Future of Sales Orchestration, Today"

What do you like best?

Playmaker essentially solves for the pains plaguing sales & marketing alignment for the past decade - it forces alignment and hyper-personalization. The only question is of course is the market truly ready for this?

What do you dislike?

It requires a level of sales sophistication that frankly most organizations aren't ready for yet.

"Easy and comfartable"

What do you like best?

I really like the very straightforward platform your the playmaker. I like the multi-contact feature and analytic

What do you dislike?

I just don't like the drag and drop option from the multi-contact page, I think we can make it better and more interactive. Drag and drop is an old style

"ABM necessity"

What do you like best?

The account scoring is seamless and makes it incredibly simple to integrate with programs.

What do you dislike?

It would be great to be able to report on the overall impact of plays, but I know that's coming.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This is one of the only tools you're able to use for ABM; it allows you to get rid of planning on spreadsheets and execute, while being able to see impact across accounts.

What do you like best?

Very easy to use software. However I do advise that you have your salfeforce data cleaned up before using.

What do you dislike?

The search functionalities take some time to get used to.
